Disgaea is a Video Game from Atlus that is uber-awesome. :3

Disgaea is a Tactical, Turn-Based RPG. You control a team of characters and on each turn can move a certain number of spaces and then attack, use some special ability or use an item. The gameplay is a lot of fun and makes you think. It's not just repetative battles again and again, but actually challenging, making you develop and change strategies.

The story is set in the Netherworld -- a universe full of demons. It was ruled by King Krichevskoy. The game's star, Laharl, is his son. He had been asleep in a coffin for two years, only to be woken up by Etna -- his "loyal" vassal. (Her attempts to wake him up involved a chain gun, a sword, a giant spiked ball and chain and some kind of hammer.)

Laharl is shocked to discover his father is dead and no one is loyal to him. Every demon who is somebody is fighting over the throne, so Laharl decides to set out to defeat them all and win the crown himself.

Later an Angel Trainee from Celestia, named Flonne is sent by the Angel World to assassinate King Krichevskoy, only to learn she's two years two late. She winds up as part of Laharl's team, convinced that there's good in him and she can find love inside him. (Despite the fact Laharl hates love)

There's also a french demon named Vyers who is very annoying. XD

Actually I could tell you more, but spoilers are bad, dood.

OH! There's demon penguines called "Prinnys" who call everybody "dood". XD

The game has a lot of humor and fun gameplay.

Oh, and there's an manga.

Anyway, I second that this is a quality game with quality humor.

The only thing I don't like about it is that it's a tactical RPG not for a portable system... As I don't really get around to playing my consoles all that often anymore.

And also, the anime is kinda kiddy with little action. Though the humor is still pretty good.

Wow that's one of my favorite PS2 MMORG Games I ever played It's so fun CPOC owns it damn him. It's all right I plan to get the game really soon I really love the Story line it has excellent game play I just love the game I give it

If any of you never played it or never heard of it look into it & watch video clips it's alsome game. To be honest one of my top 20 list favorite games.

I just went on E-bay to day brough Disgaea (NEW) For only $32 + Shipping too. I cannot wait intill I get this game

Disgaea is a great game and I'm sure you'll love it. It might take a little playing to understand everything (The Dark Assembly, Geo Panels, ect) but once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun.

The best part is that the levels stay challenging. It's not like some tactics games where, once you get a strategy down, it becomes easy. It keeps you moving and guessing the whole way through.

The story is pretty good too, and very funny. XD Nin nin nin!

I have Disgaea 1! But I've only played the first (training) level... Though the day I got that game was the first time I had played my PS2 in a while (other than playing DVDs), and also might have been the most recent game I've played on a console... I've become too acustomed to playing my DS, where I can play it and watch TV at the same time (though really, it's more "listening" to the TV than watching) :LOL:

I finally got this Video game on Tuesday I've been playing this Disgaea 3 non stop im at Lvl 56 with over 36 Hours of gameplay

That's less then a week since it came out I aready got 36 Hours anyone else got this game.

Been a long time since I enjoy this Video Game like this one.
