Which skin do you use and why?

What would you like to see in a new skin?

Are there any notable problems with the skin you use?

If there is a skin nobody uses, we may get rid of it.

On my main computer (due to it being old and slow and stuff), I use the old school skin. On my laptop, I usually use the SRB 2.1 skin, just because. What I'd want in any new skin is that it looks good, and easy to read stuff on. And preferably, not be too graphic intensive such that it scrolls well on my main crappy computer.

Teh City skin is the one of my choice!

Okay. A less graphically-intense, more basic would probably be useful.

Let me throw this offer out there again: If you make a banner, the same size as the one up top, I will make a skin to match it. :) Everyone would appreciate any time you spend. ^_^

I'd love to do that! If I was at home, so any one I do will have to wait for a while...

I use Teh City on my laptop, and Old School on my other computer because 2.1 was giving me problems (however, that problem was fixed shortly afterward and I've just never changed it back).

CR's gone back to working at camp, but I know that she uses the Dreadlocks skin.

Since we have lots of new members in the SK&WS universe, and the designs are out-of-date, perhaps I should make a new Teh City banner... that is, if BR-san is cool with making the skin to match (though with some manipulation of color from me, he could just change to banner), which he stated would be cool earlier... hm...

I use Teh City, of course! :XD: Really easy for me to read! I can tell links apart from regular text a lot better.

EDIT: After almost no much consideration, I've decided to make a new Teh City banner, trying to include as many characters as possible and acceptable.

I think Avenger uses Teh City as well. I remember him commenting about it a while ago in Chatty Chat...

I use either Teh City or SRB 2.1, depending on whatever I choose that day.
I would use Dreadlocks, but the way the borders are blue while the rest is red makes my eyes hurt.

I'm currently using Oldschool, but I always switch between that and SRB 2.1.

Oh, and a "Rivals" skin would be wintastic.

Clearly some intense color work is needed to make sure all skins are usable.

Does anyone using IE or something experience white on the borders, or on other areas where transparency is intended?

Tomorrow, expect somewhere around 3 skins to be added in honor of SRB's second birthday! ^_^ Also: I'll fix up skins like Dreadlocks and Ramen so that they aren't, uh, hideously color-clashy. XD

Spicy! DP's banner's sig is up for test. I think it's pretty slick, but I'll leave it up to DP whether it sticks with his banner. :D Is it too dark? Does it work?

I just noticed the Haruhi skin... it's really awesome! I like the boxes and the blue circles and stuff. V. nice. :3

I'm even less satisfied with this next one's matchup, but it's tough to find a nice skin with the colors white, green, blue, yellow and purple. XD In any case, this one's pretty good for a skin, and I hope it matches.

Again, it's up to Kimi and DP respectfully whether we keep the skins; though, if they don't like the matchup, we'll keep the skins and get other banners for them, and then get new skins to match their banners. :3

XD Sorry about putting so many not great together colors in one banner... I took musci theory, not color theory.

And for the skin... it's a little hard to tell the text from the rest of it, which hurts my eyes... Though I understand a matchup was extemely difficult due to my clashing colors in the banner. XD

No, no, don't misunderstand-- it's an awesome banner! ^_^ It's just that people usually don't make skins with more than two colors. XD

Well, nice with the black and blue, but I have to fix the size of the banner. (Kimi!! I think you're 2nd SK&WS banner is a little too big, because I based mine off of the size of yours, 'cause I was too lazy to look up the correct size from the depths of my computer's image folders)

I prefered the green and white colors from the other SK&WS Skin... this one kind of hurts my eyes...

I guess it's alright... I just don't like this shade of green and I thought it was hurting my eyes... but maybe my eyes hurt because I'm really sleepy.

Pet Rectangle is in SK&WS Zone. Only the word super is misspelled... dunno if it's done on purpose or not and I dunno how to fix it. XD

In my opinion, the new SK&WS skin needs darker/brighter colors to better match the banner. However, I *really* like this color scheme, and as I type this I find that I like the shaded posting box too. ^^ <3 If I can, I'll try to make the Mocha banner fit this scheme. :3

Now that I'm awake, I do like it more now. ^^ It was just me being tired.

Although I don't quite think the fast reply box looks right... but that's insignififant.

And now, for some reason, all the skins are switching to the SRB 2.1 skin, after loading the selected skin (which for me is currently the Old School skin)... Is that just happening to me??

I've been on the Haruhai sig for the last few times I've logged on with no problem. Although I haven't been on much the last few hours.

The skins are working, but the "Get New Posts" button at the top isn't working. Its showing up in HTML code instead of the button.

OK, then it was my code that was fubbing things up. ^_^ Yey. Also that happens every few times I save Board Wrappers, and I have to go back and fix it.

I'll correct that banner tomorrow. Tonight I'm all coded out... even though I've accomplished nothing. ><;
