| Crush 40 is working on their upcoming album. It will be a mix of modern nu-bleed rock, classic rock and ballads. Stay tuned for more details. |
Am I excited? You bet. Anytime Jun and Johnny get together, you know its gonna rock.

Brilliant! It's gonna happen! Woo!
I agree 100%. They are both extreamly talented. Crush 40 is one of favorite bands (up there next to Tenacious D, Staind and theory of a Deadman). Any songs that you'd like to see in the next album? I'm hoping that 'I am' will be in the next album but I also want to listen to some new material by them.
These are the songs that I would like to see in the next Crush 40 album.
1. Never turn back (with piano opening)
2. I am (all of me)
3. What I’m made of
4. His world (crush 40 remix)
5. All hail shadow (crush 40 version)
Bonus track: Open your heart remix (remix factory)
They don’t need to be in that order but I’d like it if 'Never turn back' was the first on the album. I just feel like it should be there.

Nah, "Never Turn Back" is definitely an album closing track. Its just that awesome.
And I doubt they'll put "All Hail Shadow" on there. Compared to some of their other stuff, that track was really lackluster.

Ya, I guess you're right. I just thought the piano would suite an intro I guess :heh: .
Whats songs would you think would make the album then?
BTW, do you know who done the piano intro to 'Never turn back'? Was it Jun?
Avenger29 - July 14, 2007 02:27 AM (GMT)
The piano intro was done by Yutaka Minobe, and it can be found on the Shadow OST near the end. Its name is "I Am... The Story Is Over".
Jun, however, did write the (albeit, short) piano part at the end of "His World". He also wrote the piano piece "If What You Say Is True" from the Shadow OST.

Ah, thanks for correcting me.
What the Shadow OST? If its a CD, where can I get it?
Avenger29 - July 14, 2007 05:48 PM (GMT)
Its only available in Japan, however...

See? Now you don't even need eBay. Just hit up Galbadia Hotel.

Urm... Crush 40's MySpace is gone. What does this mean
Have the band broke up or something?
I'm confused :/
Somebody help me out here please XD
Dark Phazon - October 6, 2007 08:43 PM (GMT)
I'd guess it was just deleted by myspace because myspace is stupid, or they deleted it because they wanted to have their own site instead of just a myspace thing.
tinmanti - October 6, 2007 08:49 PM (GMT)
I hope you're right, because I'm still really excited about the up-coming album. BTW, does anyone know anything else about the album?
Avenger29 - October 7, 2007 12:51 AM (GMT)
Their Myspace got hacked, actually. I haven't heard anything from Jun's page about reposting it, but when I do, I'll be here with the link.
Hearing it from Jun or his webmaster, Pammi, is the only way to know if they've actually brought back the page, since there's so many fake C40 pages out there.

This coming from the guy who made
this.Anyways, where would one purchase an album of their's by any chance?
Avenger29 - October 7, 2007 07:38 AM (GMT)
Heh. Just had to throw that one at me!
I am rather proud of that video, actually, and it really is a decent song. I just meant compared to their other songs, its just kinda at the bottom of my list.
And Amazon.com should have it in stock, if you actually want the CD for the sake of actually having it. (I'd seriously kill to have an autographed copy of that CD, honestly.) But if you're just wanting the music, well...
Clicky. This one was released in 2002, if my memory serves me right, and its actually pretty decent. Only four of the songs are from Sonic games, so if you're hoping for a solely "Sonic themes" disc, you're better off just buying the vocal collections for each game. Still, this album is definitely worth a try.

First of all, thanks Avenger29 for the info ^^
If I find out anything, I'll report on this page as well ^^
Second of all, I got my copy of the album from ebay.co.uk (ebay.com to all you guys I would expect).
Third of all, apart from the fact that it ain't that great a song, good video avenger29 ;)
Finally, I know what you meen about how you would kill to have a signed version of the album
ALthough I might not go that extreame to get a signed album (although, a signed electric guitar on the other hand...)
EDIT: Okay, found out that crush 40's myspace was deleted by a hacker :o
But Jun and Johny are trying there best to sort the problem out ^_^
EDIT AGAIN: Well, crush 40 now have a temporay MySpace.
http://myspace.com/redstealthmusicI'll keep you updated if anything else pops up.
Avenger29 - November 9, 2007 10:11 PM (GMT)
At first, I honestly didn't think it was real, since there are so many fake pages, but it turns out that its legit.
tinmanti - November 9, 2007 11:24 PM (GMT)
Yeah, and like the page says, they should be getting their new myspace up and running soon enough :)
EDIT: Crush40 FINALLY have their new myspace up and running!
http://myspace.com/crush40officialI'm still waiting for the new album though ¬.¬
