In the Past
It began with the first Secret Wars, which started many years ago in a universe known as the Beyonderverse. This universe had a mind of its own and was at peace… until it sensed the other universes around it. Seeing them, it viewed them all in indifference and amazement. There was one thing that confused it- the concept of ‘good’ and ‘evil’. What were they? What did they mean? To find the answers it sought, it snatched many heroes and villans from their universes and put them in its own.
It introduced itself as the Beyonder and told them to fight- to the victor would go their hearts’ desires, a mere pittance for the almighty being. But they took too long- schemes and betrayal, revenge and mistrust got in the way. Thus it created Amelie- a meek and timid young woman with the soul of the universe inside her. She lived among them, secretly, to find out which was better... though she herself did not know of this or of her connection to the Beyonder. She soon decided that the better path was that of goodness and purity.
Unfortunately, Amelie temporarily went berserk after the death of the man she fell in love with. It was then that the Beyonder seized the opportunity to awaken from inside of Amelie... and thus both were now one. However, Amelie's mental anguish caused her to use her Beyonder powers in a most evil way... and the great battle that ensued had damaged space and time, causing dimensional rips and tears throughout all of reality and, in the process, had also caused great chaos, confusion, and pandemonium.
In defense, a mysterious cloaked figure of great power appeared, claiming to be the Guardian of the Multiverse. He smote Amelie, thus seemingly destroying the Beyonder's power. As the universe started to fall apart around it, the Beyonder tried to reform itself… but by now the heroes and villains had banded together against it.
And so, as the Beyonder tried to regenerate itself inside a machine of its own design, the many heroes and villains used their strongest attacks to destroy the machine... and the infant body of the next Beyonder to be within. The great widespread shockwave of power had somehow repaired all of existence, and all those slain in the Secret Wars were once again alive. Very few individuals remember these events, and even then they passed it off as a strange dream. Some knew in their hearts that something had happened... but they weren't entirely sure what.
Amelie lived peacefully in a newly created universe when she was reincarnated as an actual human, having only limited superhuman abilities (compared to those of being the Beyonder). As she was born from infancy and lived her life up to mid-adolescence, Amelie was truly able to be human. Little by little, the memories of her past life as both the Beyonder and the heartbroken Amelie came back to her... but though she realized these memories were very real, they seemed as though they were the memories of another person.
In time, a being had manifested... calling itself "The Light". Somehow, The Light had acquired so much power that Amelie theorized The Light to be a new manifestation of her long lost Beyonder powers. While she wasn't sure what The Light was planning, or even if its intentions were good or evil... she didn't want a repeat of the events of the Secret Wars, so she sought to absorb The Light into her being and reclaim her powers.
The Light, to escape Amelie, sealed itself inside a temple that was locked by four keys that each had great power. Amelie knew that she could not find these keys on her own, and it was then that Anti-Amelie appeared. Anti-Amelie was the evil half of Amelie's soul... a half that also wanted the Beyonder powers. Amelie had recruited many beings whom she remembered to be heroic and trustworthy to help her stop Anti-Amelie. Though Anti-Amelie was not the only one to be faced and thus the second Secret Wars had begun. Through many powerful battles, as well as Anti-Amelie's gaining of omnipotence, distortions in the time-space continuum had arisen. It is unclear what the true outcome of the second Secret Wars were, though whatever it may have been had caused all of reality to keep changing itself until Amelie and Anti-Amelie had at last returned from a state of suspended animation.
In the Present
Seemingly, Anti-Amelie had been defeated by becoming one with Amelie's soul. Thus, Amelie once more had the all-mighty and unrivaled power of the Beyonder. With her new found might, she instantly fixed reality and thus every universe was separate once more. Amelie, despite having her dark side be a part of her again, does not wish to reign supreme. Once again, the powers of The Beyonder are separated, this time into 6 different gems. However, a powerful alliance of evil had known of this... and in a great struggle to retrieve the power of the "Infinity Gems", the gems were shattered and then scattered throughout the multiverse... many shards finding themselves owners. The shards are drawn to one another, wishing to once again be restored to a whole gem, thus the owners each feel compelled to complete their gems. However, there are also those who wish to seek out all 6 of the gems in completion for themselves... for if all 6 fully pieced gems were to be wielded, the wielder would the most powerful being in all of creation.
The leader of this evil alliance has sent his minions to retrieve the remaining shards of the Infinity Gems, as each gem shard gives the user a sense to seek out the remaining shards. Amelie was left very badly weakened... her powers waning greatly... she was no match for the cunning trickery of "The Master" of this evil alliance, for she had given up her Beyonder powers to the gems. She had only enough strength to send a telepathic message to one being in all of existence... she she scanned the cosmos in search of one who might be willing to help her in her plight.
Uncharted Galaxy, Marvel Universe
As a silvery figure surfs across the reaches of space, he suddenly gets a message in his mind.
"Norrin Radd... a great calamity has befallen me... I seek your help, for I know that your noble heart may yet be able to save all of existence."
The Surfer was taken aback by this message... then spoke, "I know not of who you are, stranger... and though there might have been a time where I would question your motives much more harshly, I now am better practiced in sensing sincerity in one's voice. However, I must still warn you that I do not take kindly to trickery."
"It is to be expected from you, Norrin Radd. Now please... if you may, try to get a lock on my location... I will send you a telepathic link so that you can home in on me. It will not be an easy task, but you will have to rip through the fabric of reality and into another universe."
"You are correct in stating this to be a difficult task... but it is not something beyond my capabilities with the Power Cosmic. I shall do as you say."
And so, the Silver Surfer used the Power Cosmic to charge a strange cosmic energy into his fists. The Surfer than began soaring at a great speed, accelerating with every passing second. As the Surfer began to reach the speed of light, he encountered a black hole. He fired the energy from his hands directly into the black hole and entered through.
Sacred Temple, Masaya, Beyonderverse
The Surfer found the young girl laying helpless on the ground.
"A mere girl...? Are you the one that sent the telepathic message?"
Amelie replied, "Yes... thank you for coming... I have need of your Power Cosmic to regain a semblance of my normality."
The Surfer nodded and said, "Very well... I shall heal that which has become damaged within you."
As the Surfer healed Amelie, she slowly got up, feeling better than mere seconds earlier.
"I thank you, Norrin Radd."
"I'm sorry... I feel there is much more that is in need of healing... but I cannot fathom why I cannot proceed any further."
"It is alright... I knew already that this was the limits of your power. As for my true plight... behold, Surfer..."
Amelie shot another psychic signal into the Surfer's brain, thus allowing the Surfer to see all the events that began with the original Secret Wars up to this point. The feeling was overwhelming, to say the least.
"This... is a lot to try and perceive fully, Miss... Beyonder?"
"Please... call me Amelie."
"Very well. I shall help in anyway I can... for the same love of life found on Earth and my beloved homeworld of Zenn-La extends to all other life as well."
Amelie said nothing and proceeded to use the remaining bit of power she had left after the Surfer's healing to open up a multiversal telepathic link between the Surfer and many inhabitants from other worlds.
The Surfer spoke... and many had heard his words. He talked about the current situation, the Infinity Gems, and what had to be done. Many of whom he talked to were already in the possession of a shard from one of the six Gems, so the Surfer's words further enlightened them on the origins of their shard. As the Surfer neared the end of his speech, he opened up dimensional portals leading to the Beyonderverse. Each portal was opened up a few feet in front of whomever heard the Surfer's words.
"These gateways shall take you to the world where the great calamity has taken place. For as long as you stay in your own world, these portals shall remain open... and you may come to the world where the different Gem shards are scattered to. However, time is of the essence... so while the portals may remain open for as long as you may wish to decide, the situation at hand may not grant the same patience. Please, I beseech you... all worlds, including your own... are in danger of ruin."
The Surfer's words ended, and thus... many beings were left to decide what they must do... however, it was not only those who would side themselves with good that have heard his words... but evildoers have also heard his words.
The Surfer looks on from atop the temple at the entire planet of Masaya. The Planet had many forests, lakes, cities, and what have you... and now it also had several open portals. Planet Masaya was now the very center of all existence... the many doorways from all other worlds leading here. It seems that... perhaps... a third era of Secret Wars had begun...

The Observerse
“Are you ready?”
A giant golden bird-like being who wore silver armor and a red dress sat on a stone throne. This small planet was his universe, and he was the Observer.
The Observer was one of a lost race called Chozo, but he was no ordinary Chozo. Many centuries ago he had gotten separated from his universe of birth. In this Observerse, he was the ruler. It was here on his small one-planet, one-house universe that he had brought a hero.
“Yeah.” That hero stood up. He wore a black shirt and matching pants, large brown boots and brown gloves that went all the way to his elbows, complete with several straps and belts on them. He had a leather belt with a empty holster. His hair was spiky and blond, and one silver ring was in his ear.
“Good... you do remember your objective?” The Observer asked.
“Of course ” The hero grinned. “You want me to destroy 'that person'... there was a time when taking a life went against my values. I still have a distaste for causing death, but in 'that person's' case, I can make an exception.”
The Observer nodded his beaked head. “I see... then I wish you luck, and Godspeed.”
The hero paused. “You'll live up to your end of the deal?”
The Observer nodded once more. “Yes... if you are successful... I will allow you to break the Universal Rule and return to a Dimension not your own, for the rest of your life.”
The hero grinned like a kid on Christmas morning and did a strange little dance. “Woo You got yourself a deal, Mr. Bird-Man. Now... how about my stuff?”
The Observer raised his arms above his head; the sapphire orb between his claws shone with a brilliant cerulean light. All at once, three large chests appeared before the hero.
The hero opened the first one and raised it's contents above his head.
“Do do-do-DO ” The hero was holding a large silver revolver with the words: .45longcoltEAGLE written on the barrel and a belt of bullets. He put the gun in his holster and strapped the bullet belt across his chest. Then he opened the second chest.
Once again raising the contents above his head, he said: “Do do-do-DO ” This time he was holding a tattered red jacket which contained several holes and tears. After putting the jacket on, the hero sniffed and sighed happily. “You washed it for me, and even use the Tropical Breeze Fabric Softener I like. Good job Birdy ”
The Observer made a annoyed sound; the hero opened the final chest. In this one was a pair of sunglasses with curvy frames and yellow lenses. He unfolded them but did not put them on. “I...” He said in a Horatio Cane-like way as he put the glasses on. “... have got to go.”
The hero stepped forward and The Observer held up his orb one last time. Before he activated it, however, he gave a warning.
“Remember: On my small planet, my powers are mighty... but mine are but a spark next to the flame of the Infinity Gem's ability... and if I leave this planet, I will have but 1% of my power... as such, once you leave: You are on your own. The only way I can fulfill your wish is if you win."
The hero said nothing at first. He just smirked and looked up. “I will win... for I have the ultimate weapons with me always... the weapons called Love and Peace ” Striking a overly-dramatic pose, the hero screamed out with glee.
The Observer sweat dropped. “Did I really choose the right hero to put my trust in?”
The hero's eye twitched. “Come on I'm Valentinez Alkalinella Xifax Sicidabohertz Gombigobilla Blue Stradivari Talentrent Pierre Andri Charton-Haymoss Ivanovici Baldeus George Doitzel Kaiser III ”
The Observer raised one of his birdish eyebrows. The hero rubbed his neck.
“... Yeah, it IS a long alias. Okay, I'll just stick with Vash the Stampede.” The Humanoid Typhoon shrugged.
The Observer activated his orb one last time and there was a blast of crisp blue light... Vash was gone, and The Observer had no choice but to put his trust in the goofy gunslinger.

Kuchiki Rukia was buried in thought as her executioner, a great bird of fire, came towards her. The bird -- who was in reality a Zanpakuto as strong as 1000 zanpakuto was about to end her life.
Then...
"Yo."
After a flash of brilliant light, the great bird fell back; his assault halted. Ichigo stood in front of her with that same annoyingly-arrogant look he always seemed to possess.
Her shock was broken by her anger. "Idiot! Why do you keep coming back!?"
Before Ichigo could respond, there was a flash of light and a voice spoke to them both. This was the Silver Surfer's voice, and when the portal opened Ichigo hesitated.
Something seemed wrong about this... but the truth was, fighting Byakuya and a whole group of Captains sounded bad. Ichigo grabbed Rukia and hopped into the portal.
Streets Of Tokyo, Japan
"This is great!" Daisuke Motomiya grinned as he looked on from the top of the Tokyo Tower. "We're finally on a vacation when we're not in the middle of something crazy!"
His companion, Kari Yagami, giggled in responce as she looked out at the tops of Tokyo. "It's beautiful... and so peaceful."
"Yeah!" Davis grinned, leaning on the railing. "And for once, NOTHING is going to ruin our date."
"Who said this was a date?" Kari teased.
Davis sweatdropped. Kari giggled again. Then, the light and the voice.
Davis slumped his shoulders. "Aw... man..."
Kari patted him on the shoulder. "Sorry Dai-kun... but..."
"I know, I know..." Davis pouted. "Let's go then."
Kari paused. "Gatomon and V-mon aren't here..."
Davis shifted. "Portal might close... maybe they're already there!"
Without much choice, Davis and Kari headed into the portal.
Masaya -- Forest of Blood, Dark Mansion
Someone sat in the midst of darkness. His cape billowing around him, a red mask covering his eyes. His pointed fangs were red with fresh blood and his blond hair hung in his face.
"I've waited for this day..." Myotismon was here, so was his castle, and apparently he was up to something.
“Are you ready?”

Two young warriors flew through a strange portal. One was wearing a black spandex suit covered by a short green sleeveless robe. The other was in a navy blue and orange shirt with white sweatpants on. They both had rather spiky hair, although the girl's was a little bit messier.
"Gohan! Where are we?" She nervously asked as they landed on a rooftop. The place was rather nice looking, although there was an eerie silence in the city. Thats when the two noticed a guy with spiky hair and a black trenchcoat walking the streets.
"Hey Videl. Lets go see if he knows anything."The boy, identified as Gohan said. They two surrounded themselves in a whitish blue aura, and took off towards the man.
[Teh Streets]
Avenger walked down the empty streets, wondering what had happened.
"Whats going on here? And why do I have this strange jewel?" He said as he flipped the gem piece in the air. He had been sleeping peacefully until he heard a strange noise come from Teh City. Thats when he came running. It was when he got there that he blacked out, and awoke with the gem in his hand.
Thats when he noticed Gohan and Videl flying towards him.
"Well, at least they'll keep me company."

((Er... heh... Avenger, while there should be a lot of freedom in this RP, I would like to state that you still have to respond, in some manner, to the events that start in the last 5 paragraphs of my first post... ^_^;))
Digital World
Fugamon looked at his Space Gem shard... it had already given him great power... and from what he heard the Surfer say... he could find more shards and increase that power even more.
"Okay, guys... we're going in!"
Fugamon, Goburimon, and Flame Wizardmon entered the portal. It closed behind them.
Forest of Desolation, Masaya
Goburimon stated, "This place doesn't seem all that different from the Digital World, Fugamon-sama."
"Ask me if I care, Goburimon. Come on, we gotta get the rest of them shards... then nobody can oppose me! Not even Liomon!"
Flame Wizardmon commented, "My lord, please... I mean no disrespect, but Liomon, despite being a Champion like yourself, is far stronger than any other. I've heard tales of him... it's been said that he's even taken on Mega Digimon!"
Fugamon sneered at Flame Wizardmon. "Ya... don't forget, I was able to kick YOUR can with this gem shard... if I keep increasing my power, even Mega Level Digimon will be nothing to me!"
Flame Wizardmon, "If you say so..."
Then he thought to himself, "You're not as stupid as I thought you were, my dear Fugamon... but I'm still not worried. I know that, in the end, it'll be ME who comes out on top!"
((Okay, guys, just as an added note... when you arrive at Masaya, you can create whatever setting you want! Also, you can create whatever inhabitants of Masaya that you want, as well. Also... forgive the shortness of this post... but there's a lot of people that haven't posted yet and I don't wanna overwhelm them with too many novel-sized posts... heh...))

"I-Ino..." Tenten breathed, irritated.
Ino turned around from her position in front of the group. "What is it? We're in a hurry!" Lagging behind Ino were Tenten, Sakura, and Hinata, carrying heavy shopping bags.

"I'm the leader of our group!" Ino shrugged. "If I carried the bags, what would you do? You see--"
Before she could continue, the protal appeared, followed by the voice.
"We should tell the Hokage--!" Both Sakura and Tenten began to turned toward the Main Hall of Konoha when they're collars were snatched by Ino.
"No way!" She screamed. "This is an adventure! WE'RE gonna stop this bad-stuff ourselves! C'mon, Hinata!"
With that, Ino ran into the portal, dragging Sakura and Tenten. Hinata looked around, hoping someone saw and would get help. There was no one... with a yelp, Hinata ran after her friends.

Forest of Desolation
A strange person of ambiguous gender with long green hair sat on a rock in the forest. He (let's just go with he) wore a black bandana with a red triangle, a black skirt and he had a red tattoo of a snake eating it's own tail on his thigh.
He had no true name, though in truth he had gone by several thousand different ones. He was most commonly, however, refered to by the deadly sin that he represented: Envy.
As he stood up, Envy heard sounds... was there someone else in this forest?
"This could be fun..." Envy grinned.
If someone were to come upon the rock where he sat, they could find a small child who looked no older than five or six. A child who looked innocent, timid and weak. This was Envy's power... he could copy the apperance of anyone he so wanted.
Waterfall of Mist
Vash had arrived here, standing on a log that stretched across a river... just as that river flowed into a gigantic, one-hundred-foot waterfall. Vash looked down over the edge and whistled.

Ruined Fortress
In the midst Masaya there sits a very old castle. A castle older than Masaya itself. This castle is nothing more than ruins now. Cracked and crumpled, broken and burnt, descolent and destroyed... the ruined fortress once belonged to a powerful evil being.
Now a new evil being was there.
Aizen looked around the room, without paying much attention to anything inside. The "inside" of the fortress had little in way of a roof and one of the walls had fallen down. In this small, burnt out fortress there was nothing of value.
... Well, almost nothing.

In the happy Waterfall of Rainbows where the clouds are smiling and the flowers sing... Anzu was not pleased.
"Jonouchi..." She grinded her teeth. Jonouchi happened to be in the middle of trying to take a nap on a flat rock near the waterfall. "Get up already! We're in deep trouble, and you don't seem too concerned!"
"A-Anzu..." Yuugi pleaded, though being much shorter than Anzu, there wasn't much he could do.
"Ah, relax." Jonouchi sighed, sitting up. "What do ya mean 'trouble'? You heard the man, as long as I got this," He held up the shard he possesed, which he'd found on the ground earlier, in their own world. "We got nothin' to worry about." He tossed the shard in the air and caught it again.
"Jonouchi!" Honda huffed. "I'm afraid as the chairman of the Beautifuication Squad, I cannot allow--"
"Your janitor duties don't expand to other worlds, ya know..."

A blond woman who wore a blue official-looking uniform was walking through this area. She had been in her own universe, at her own desk, thinking about many things: War... Love... and the one person whom had been responcible for bringing both into her life.
This woman was the daughter of a influential and powerful alchemist. A alchemist who had been unsurpassed in elemental alchemy. Now her father was long since dead and his legacy was survived only by his star pupil and the broken tattoo on his daughter's back.
That pupil... Riza wondered, given the current situation, if she would ever find him again. No... that was a foolish thought. She had pledged her life to serving the Colonel, of course she would find him again.

SYNAGOGUE OF TIME (not Masaya)
Slash! Slash! Two sharp swords cut through strange monsters as a pair of cloaked warriors ran through a once-beautiful temple. They leapt over a large crevass, and landed near a door.
The pair of samurai jammed their swords into the padlock, and it snapped open. They opened the door and ran through.
It was a dark room... and there was some kind of huge spider on the ceiling.
"O Great Spider!" shouted the one in white, "We beseech you--"
The other, dressed in black, pointed his sword. Suddenly its blade turned pure black, into the Ultimate Blade that could cut through any physical object! He hefted it at the ceiling, and the spider, now cut in half, fell to the ground.
He walked forward, and got his sword from the spider's gut. The other didn't seem happy about this, but they moved on to find a large, evil looking chest. Without another word, the one dressed in white used his Holy Sword to slice open the lock!
They took out a tablet, with what looked like dance steps on it.
"At last," said Jack, "Now we can return to our own time and finally save our world from destruction!"
"Yes!" said Wrath, "Finally, we can destroy Aku! With this, the Macarena of Time!"
WOOSH! Suddenly a portal opened, and a voice behind it began speaking.
Before it finished, Wrath heard a key word. "Hey! He said something about Anti-Amelie! Let's go!" Samurai Wrath, the samurai in black, leapt through the portal.
"..." Samurai Jack, holding the tablet, didn't seem too pleased about this. A third Secret Wars... With a sigh, he tossed aside the tablet and leapt through!
DEEP SPACE (Still not Masaya)
Ship's Log, Entry #0043. You're a new ship, but soon enough we'll be back in four digits.
I just destroyed one of the Galactic Federation's most costly research ships, and drove to extinction what were probably the most deadly species in existence. Well, they are now that Metroids are long since gone.
Ny new ship was issued to me by the Galactic Federation; they'll be using it to track me since I've now been declared Public Enemy No. 1. But I'll never abandon it. Apparently, the Federation has somehow been saving the personalities of their better soldiers for use in their AI research... in fact, this particular ship has been programmed with personality with a man who was once a very good friend of mine... Now, this ship is the closest I'll ever get to one of the few men I've ever loved. Isn't that right, Adam?
Samus Aran stopped typing at the console of her purple ship and looked at the HUD. Her new suit, infused with Metroid DNA so that it was now closer to a living organism than a piece of metal, was reflected in the windshield.
"Very sweet, my lady, but I'm afraid I'll have to cut your entry short for today," said Adam. "We're approaching some kind of anomaly. Shall I alter our course?"
"If it's not dangerous," said Samus, "Don't bother."
Five minutes before her ship enetered the portal, Samus received the telepathic message.
"Adam," she said finally.
"Yes, my lady?"
"Full speed ahead."
TOKYO
"Raito-kuun~!!" shouted a voice from another corner of the apartment. "Come heere, Raito-kuun!"
The call-ee, Yagami Raito, paid no attention to the call-er, his girlfriend Amane Misa, and continued looking at the data on his computer screen.
"Things are going well, Ryuk," he said to the seven-foot-tall demon who was reclining on a nearby couch. "Every day there is less and less crime... and every day there are more people who agree with Kira..."
Years ago, Yagami Raito had come into possession of a notebook called the Death Note-- an object which, if you wrote someone's name in it, they would die. He had used the notebook to kill criminals, mostly those condemned to death or life in prison, in order to send a message to criminals and people everywhere-- someone is watching, and he will kill you if you commit crimes.
His plan was working-- despite the world's governments' attempts to kill the mysterious criminal they dubbed "Kira," Raito himself was on the investigation, ensuring he was never caught.
"Soon enough, Ryuk," he continued, "I will be god of this world."
Ryuk took a bite of his apple. "I guess," he said, "But it's not as interesting around here as it used to be. Although, I did find these wierd gems last night. If I give them to you, will you sell them and give me the money to buy apples?"
Raito was about to answer when suddenly, the Surfer's words echoed in his head. He took in the information, then turned to Ryuk to ask him something. Misa entered the room, still seeking Raito, when--

A white portal had opened up underneath them. The three, including their couch, end table, and other furniture, had fallen into the sand with a hearty POFF.
Raito's computer was safe; Ryuk's half-eaten apple fared not as well. He picked it up sadly as Misa picked herself up. "Ohh??" she said. "We're in a desert now!"
Raito stood up. He was furious. "That damn--! That voice... he brought us to that world of calamities, didn't he?!"
Ryuk nodded, picking grains of sand out from his apple core.
"...Those fools," he growled. "They've removed me from my world... crime will return without Kira, and it will take me ages to get it back to how it was..."
"Ohh, Raito-kun," said Misa sadly, holding his arm in consolation, "Maybe you can become god of this world too?"
Raito sighed. "Yes... perhaps... in any case, Misa, never call me Raito again, understand? As far as you know, my name is now... Light, Yagami Light. And your name is... Megan. Understand?"
Misa frowned. "As long as Misamisa is alive, Misamisa will call you Light if you want, Light," she said, "But Misamisa-chan has always been Misamisa!"
"...Fine. Your name is Yagami Misa, then, got it?"
Misa smiled and nodded.
"Oh ho..." said Ryuk, turning and smiling, "Because in this world, there's no reason to use your real name... and if nobody knows your real name, they can't write it down in your Death Note."
Light picked up his laptop. "Let's start walking," he said. "Ryuk, show me those gems you found."
Ryuk smiled. "Heh, looks like fun times are here again..."
(( NB: At this point in the timeline, Misa does not have "The Eyes" or a Death Note but she can still see Ryuk; Also I will not be taking Rem. ^^; I can't say much, but at the time they lived together, Rem wasn't hanging around the human world. I can fudge some stuff, but not that; I'd forgotten that detail when I signed up for her. ))

So now, he was searching for any sign of Space Pirate activity... any at all...

Vash was cleaning his silver revolver when he happened to look up... and spot Ridley.
"Waaaaaaah!" Vash screamed, perhaps too loudly and jumped up. He knew who Ridley was, because Vash's memories were complete and intact. While some had only broken memories of the past, Vash had perfect ones... due in part to his being a plant, and in part to The Observer.
As Vash jumped around, he lost his grip and fell. He was able to safely grab the cliff wall and climb back to the top of the waterfall... but he had dropped his gun and lost it.
"Uh oh..." Vash did not need his gun, but he liked it, so he was pretty bummed.
Oh, plus the giant evil alien bird. That was making him feel bad too.

Some random cliff in the Naruto universe
"Hmm..." was all that was heard from the man standing atop the cliff, with the portal in front of him. He then looked down at the red shard that was in his hand, and walked through the portal. With just that shard, his own strength had been increased greatly, and if more could be found beyond the portal, he'd take them.
Restaurant (Black Cat universe)
"Hey!! Get back here!!" yelled a waiter holding a not-yet paid bill for a meal, as a balding fat man dashed as quick as he could out of the restaurant.
"Ahh! Perfect! A fat eat-and-runner! That'll be an easy 20,000yen, so we could pick up some bottles of milk later!" yelled a younger man, in a white shirt, a blue jacket, and with "XIII" tattooed on his chest.
"..." A young blonde girl sat next to him, staring at him, before she finally spoke. "...I'll catch him first," she calmly said.
"Uhh, okay!" then said the young man, somewhat surprised at the sudden challenge. Though he couldn't just let the little princess beat him yet.
With that, both dashed off after the fat eat-and-runner... Neglecting to pay their own bill...
But just as the blonde girl edged ahead of the young man in the streets outside the restaurant, she started hearing voices in her head, and a portal appeared in front of her. She stopped quickly, but the young man ran into her suddenly-not-moving foot, tripping straight into the portal.
"Train!!" she yelled, looking at the portal. With Sven away secretly training himself, she normally wouldn't have entered the portal at all, until Sven was around and OKed it or not. But with train having fallen into it, she had to go find him. So, she stepped in the portal.
Masaya - somewhere I don't know, yet
In an area somewhat nearby other portals, a beautiful blonde girl was laid on the ground with a bruise on her head, just regaining consiousness after getting knocked out upon landing from the trans-dimensional trip...
"Oww! Now can someone PLEASE tell me what just happened!" exclaimed the girl, while rubbing her forehead.
Then she heard a man's voice say, "It seems as though we all were picked out of our own dimensions by Miss Amelie and Silver Surfer, and then dropped in this place to help her get the shards that make up the Infinity Gems. Did you forget what was just said telepathically?"
"Well I guess falling from another dimension and landing head-first on a rock can do that to a girl," retorted the girl. "Wait a sec, who are you?" she then questioned, as she first caught a glimpse of the orange headed man in the white and purple uniform that was speaking to her.
"I'm Straight Cougar, though you can call me just Cougar. And with my alter power, I can shorten the world!" As he said this, a strange purple machine-looking armour formed around his legs. "Now what's you're name, pretty lady?"
"The name's Rikku, glad to meet ya!" the girl cheerfully replied, holding out her hand to shake Cougar's hand, who responded by shaking her hand.
"Nice to meet you, as well." Cougar then responded. "So do you have some sort of ability or power that would be a reason why you were selected, Ryukku?"
"I said my name was Rikku! Get it right!" exclaimed the girl, upset over the mispronunciation of her name. "And I'm just your average extraodinary machina genius!"
"Oh, sorry about that," responded Cougar, "I'm not that great with names..."
"Well anyway, collecting a bunch of cool looking shards seems like it'll be a fun time!" she then exclaimed, before stopping for a second, and thinking for a little bit. "Hmm... For some reason, this feels like deja vu..." she then said to herself.
"Now that you mention it," responded Cougar, also thinking, "this does seem very familiar..."
((Heh! That's almost exactly how I started SW2 with those two! :LOL: ))
Masaya - The Living Forest (anyone remember Mortal Kombat 2??)
In a forested area where there were many trees with faces in them, and a couple of portals nearby, a silver-haired man in mostly black, and with a long sword, walked out of one of the portals.
"Hahahaha!" he yelled out upon stepping on the ground of the Living Forest. "With the power of these gems, combined with Jenova, I'll be able to kill everyone and drain all the power from this universe, and all the universes!!" he continued yelling, while laughing at the same time.

Another silver haired man then stepped out from the trees, walking towards the first man. "So... You're going to destroy everything, instead of just taking control from the incompetant leaders of these universes..." he said. The man with the long sword then looked back at the speaking man, glaring at him with murderous intent. "You're no better than those Chronos fools," the speaking man then said.
"You're the fool, talking like that to me," Sephiroth then said, before spinning around and slashing towards the other man with his Masamune. But the other man seemed to have evaded it, standing just outside the reach of Sephiroth's Masamune.
"So, that's how you're going to play?" the second silver-haired man said, drawing his own sword. However, as he pulled it out, it only appeared as a hilt, with the actual sword broken barely half an inch from the hilt.
"Hahaha!!" laughed Sephiroth. "So you're going to try and fight with just that?! You're more of an idiot then you appear!" Sephiroth continued, dashing straight at the other man, to try and stab him straight through the stomach.
But with a blue flash, Sephiroth's Masamune was stopped, seemingly against a sword that wasn't there. Sephiroth slashed a few more times at the other man, but each strike was blocked by a blue flash, from a sword that looked to be invisibly extended from the broken sword the other man was holding.
"I see. So that sword of yours is invisible?!" Sephiroth then laughed. "That still won't be good enough, now that I know to gauge the length of it!' Sephiroth then slashed at the other man a few more times, using his Masamune's length to his advantage, and staying away from the reach of the other man's invisible sword. He attempted one final slash, but suddenly, the other man pointed his invisible sword straight at Sephiroth, and a red hole formed in his chest. The other man then pulled his invisible sword back out of the wound he gave Sephiroth, and slashed two more times. Sephiroth fell back to the ground, from the injuries.
Sephiroth did not win the Third Secret Wars
"I'm sorry, I guess I neglected to tell you that my Imagine Blade can extend as long as I wish it to," the other man then said, turning away from Sephiroth, and resheathing his sword. "Too bad. You might have been useful in helping convince Train to join me in ridding the world of incompetence, and rule the world by our own principles!!" Creed Diskenth then said, laughing hysterically.
((Betcha weren't expecting that! Well, Sephiroth could come back in his Advent Children form for someone; which is why he's perfect for that purpose I used him for!))

Fugamon and Goburimon were about to move in for the kill... but then, Flame Wizardmon raised an eyebrow.
"Hold on a minute..." he said, raising one of his matchstick wands between the ogres and Envy.
"Something about this doesn't seem right to me..."
Fugamon snapped, "Oh, since when have been Mr. Morals?"
"No, not that! I mean this child... there's something about him that feels... off..."
Fugamon asked, "What do you mean... like something about your hocus pocus mumbo jumbo telling you that or something?"
"Actually, it's my intuition..."

Suddenly the kid transformed... into Fugamon! Or at least, an exact copy of Fungamon. He had none of the powers, but all of the ugly.
"What am I? Why, I'm your fearless leader!" Fugamon-Envy grinned. He crossed his arms and paused for a moment. This could be fun, and there was no reason to think these... whatever they were... could defeat him.
Besides, even if they did...

Master Chief was enjoying his time at work. This was one of those few moments where you could kick back and just take all your stress and anger out. After all what could be a better stress reliever than bashing a few alien skulls in?
After the message however, Master Chief decided he was needed elsewhere taking time only to clean his weapons and gather a few more, he leapt into the portal going to his next destination.
Forest of Tranqulity
Despite the name of this forest, the inhabitant of it was not in the slightest peaceful. He was turning a shade of red and once again freaking out.
"Why do we always end up in this kind of crap, Al?" the boy began. He was a State Alchemist, the Hero of the People, and a little on the short side. He was walking around in the forest, lost, he had walked into the portal at home on accident. "The next guy I see is going to give us some answers, or I'll pound his face in!" Edward Elric: the Fullmetal Alchemist ranted.
Mount Lollipop
In a place like Mount Lollipop a kid would be going nuts. Candy growing on trees, everything was edible! Including the person standing in the middle of it with his arms crossed.But that is called canibalism my dear children
Uchiha Sasuke was growing impatient. After the portal had opened he had gone through with hesitation only saying that, "He'll be there." He was waiting for the rest of his team.
And just to add to his iritation, everything spoken was rhymed. (>:3)
"I hate this place." Sasuke did say, as he cut off a candy cane that grew out of the ground, he threw it at another one. But it wrapped around and came back and hit him in the head, "Ow, my face!" Sasuke said.
Getting up off the ground he went over to a rock, "Perhaps I'll sit." And as he waited he sneered, "I'm not amused in the least bit..."
With a scowl and a sigh he hung his head. "I quit." He then screamed in rage.

"Duh! Whoever made that announcement has a bunch of cash." Etna grinned.
"... and we'll kill 'em and snatch it! Aaaaahahahahah!" Laharl laughed.
Flonne sweatdropped. "I don't like this idea."
"Who cares? We're main characters, it's not like we'll get killed or anything." Etna said assuredly, unaware that GS had lost interest in Disgaea.

As the three stepped inside, they found a silver-haired man with a evil smile on his face. A smile so evil, even Etna was taken aback.
"Whose this guy?" Etna asked.

Vash knew that everyone who wanted cash-money would be after him... and then he heard a voice and sighed. Vash was about to do something, his arm poised for a attack, when he realized who the voice belonged to and found his gun returned to him.
"CHIEF!" Vash grinned, patting his armored friend on the shoulder. "I haven't seen you in forever!"
Vash grinned and put his gun away. He knew there were masses of random folk chasing him, but he didn't care. Besides... he had a mission. He did not know who had spoken that message, but he knew who was pulling the strings.

Hot Spring of Rainbows (Located near the Waterfall
He had a mission to accomplish. He knew it. He had to find someone, someone he had spent years looking for. He needed to find that person, and finish what they had began so long ago...
But...
He had some bad habits. Granted this particular bad habit wasn't as bad as Ataru's version of it, but that didn't change that he was perched on a rock, trying to see who the girl in the hot spring was.
"... I'll find Sasuke later." Naruto decided, peeking down and hoping he wouldn't be seen. Completely unaware that the girl who sat in the hot spring was a vicious, violent, sadistic killer who loved causing havoc and destruction.
"Who's there?" Azula demanded, looking around.
"Ah!" Naruto quickly decided to escape -- he was a ninja and it would be easy to get away without being seen. At least, if this wasn't a comedy moment it would be. Naruto's hand slipped on the wet rock and he fell forward into the hot spring. When he came up from the water, he was face to face with Azula.

Naruto jumped back as a bolt of lightning shot by his face, centimeters from being a hit. It continued on and destroy the rock Naruto had been perched on.
"Ahh! Why me?" Naruto wondered how he could have gotten into a situation this bad after only being here for a short time. He jumped up and quickly ran away from the hotspring.
Azula silently vowed to kill him, luckily Naruto had a head start since she had to get dressed. As she was finising, she found a gold ring among her things. It did not belong to her... but for some reason, she was compelled to keep it.
She didn't have time to study it, though; because she wanted to chase down Naruto and kill him.

Misty Plains
Upon tripping into the portal, Train Heartnet reappeared still in the process of falling down, at a flat grassy area with a river running through it, that seemed to almost give the area a small amount of fog. He landed flat down on the ground, about to get up, as the other being who went through the portal finally showed up, walking straight onto Train's back.
"Uhhh... Eve?" Train asked as she stood on his back while looking all around for any signs of where Train may have gone. "Could you get off of my back?"

"ATTENTION TO WHOEVER CAN HEAR THIS! A DANGEROUS OUTLAW HAS COME TO MASAYA AND MUST BE DESTROYED AT ALL COSTS! WHOEVER CAN DEFEAT THIS CRIMINAL WILL RECIEVE REWARDS BEYOND THEIR WILDEST DREAMS! "Heh! That sounds like a fun little diversion!" Train exclaimed, finally standing after Eve realized that where Train had gone was just under her feet. "And that reward'll be good to get Sven off my back a bit!" he continued saying, though as he spoke, he thought about what they were truely asking. He didn't know why he was here, since he never was contacted, but there still was something up with that place and that guy, if they wanted the target dead, instead of alive like what sweepers usually do...
His daydreaming was interrupted, however, by Eve. "Our competition was not finished before..." she said. "One hour. Whoever gets the earring first buys dinner." she said almost monotonously.
"O.K.! You're on, li'l princess!" yelled Train with an overenthusiastic thumbs up. Eve certainly had grown up a bit since she first joined with him and Sven, and he definitely didn't have to worry about her getting into trouble (even though she looked like a little 13 year old girl), or about completely following the orders of the mysterious voice. She valued life too much, due to her past, to kill. Though, if that Vash guy was really tough, he just might have to step in himself...
So with that, Train headed upstream alongside the river, while Eve headed downstream, where she'd eventually come across a waterfall.

Two Samurai appeared in the plains. They looked around for a moment, and saw some people running in the distance.
"...We must find the person that brought us here," said Jack, "Once again, everything is not as it seems. That voice, I am sure, is the source of this evil..."
"Agreed," said Wrath, "We'll find him and tear him to pieces."
They began walking in the general direction of the running people.

A dark figure watched from the sidelines... he wasn't sure who or what these people were, but... they seemed useless to him...

Nearby, a huge burst of fire lit up the sky!
When the smoke cleared, Enlisted Man Roy Mustang was standing there, looking stylish with his blue military suit and eyepatch.
He hoped Hawkeye and/or any of his other former subordinates and friends nearby would see it and come... of course, more than just they would see it...

"Misa, pick up that gem shard," he said, getting up, leaving the gem shard on the ground where he'd dropped it. (( LOL ))
"Sorry," said Misa to Ryoko, "I have to go help Light-kun, but I'll be right back!" She went over and picked up the gem shard. Nothing happened.
"Misa, what's 98 times 423?" asked Light.
"Umm, 41,454," she said, "But I don't think I should know that."
"No, you shouldn't," he said, "Obviously, that gem shard increases brainpower."
"And you're too smart to handle much more smarts, is that it?" said Ryuk.
"Exactly," said Light, "So, Misa, hold on to that for me. We'll figure out what these other two do soon."
Light walked past Ryoko, trudging on through the desert. "Oh, but Light-kun," said Misa, "What about this girl... she's lost!"
Light kept walking, Ryuk in tow. "...I don't care," he said, as though that should have been obvious from the start.

"Whoa!" Naruto jumped over a long rock fence, splashing down on the other side as a bolt of lightning flew over his head. If not for the summoning and multiple cool techniques, Naruto would have regretted ever meeting Jiraiya.
He looked up at the rock wall, hoping that would keep the crazy girl he'd meet from finding him... not realizing that four familiar females were right behind him.
Waterfall of Mist
Vash smiled to Master Chief, relieved that the first face he found was a friendly one. In truth, it had not been who he was looking for... but it was better than anyone who would have put a bullet in his brain.
"No... I'm not running away this time." Vash said, a unusual seriousness in his voice. "These Gem Shards... they're very powerful, and there's someone very evil looking for them. If that person obtains them..."
At that moment, Vash heard the thoughts of Ridley. Yeah, Vash has some limited psychic powers, but with the Mind Shard in his possession he could go toe-to-toe with Nite. As such, he heard the big metal bird and said...
"OH SHOOT! We gotta go!" He grabbed Chief and jumped off the side of the waterfall, plummeting into the small Lake of Mist below!

Myotismon was peering through a crystal ball, a look of hatred on his face.
"So..." He sneered. "He is here..."

The sky was darkened by the wings of many bats, and then a flash of pink light.
MetalPhantomon appeared standing before Jack and Wrath, twirling his gigantic scythe and looking down at them.
"Greetings from Master Myotismon!"
He slashed his scythe, shooting large lightning at both of them!

Looking up, Hawkeye noticed flames in the sky. At once she assumed it was Mustang -- but she paused, looking at the group she had just promised to help.
"... Come with me." Hawkeye said, but she didn't wait for them as she ran towards the hotsprings.

The Joker paused as he spotted the approach of Raven and Terra. He rubbed his chin for a second and turned to Harley.
"Wait a minute... Those two are in the Teen Titans with Robin, who was the sidekick to Batman, who always foils my plan, and of course I once kidnapped Kevin Bacon! Wow, that really DOES work." Joker seemed amused.
"But Mistah Jay, that didn't rhyme well at all."
"Oh, I know doll." Joker shrugged. "But I'm tired of rhyming, so I think I'll just start shooting."
There was a pause, then Joker and Harley both pulled out guns and opened fired. Against who? Anyone nearby.

"Brick throwing technique!" Sasuke yelled picking up a nearby brownie that was brick shaped and throwing it at Karin. ".. How about we just don't speak?"
Sasuke was getting iritated. Then the clowns opened fire on him. "Morons." Sasuke said, opening his Sharingan eyes, and casting a Genjutsu on the two clown criminals. Although what this Jutsu did, well it'll be revealed later. "Suigetsu," Sasuke said to hisfanclubs leader second in command, "go ahead and have some fun. Just get it done."
Sasuke jumped high onto a tree, avoiding the bullets and there he waited.

Ed was walking forward, hands in pocket before he began again. "Al?" he started. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry for what I said earlier. Ed continued on for a few mintues pouring his heart and soul out to a brother who actually wasn't there. "By the way I see your point, 'Your Mom' Jokes really dont work between us do they?" Ed asked with a sweatdrop.

Akane got in-between the two of them and said, "Guys, please... let's just try and sort things out and figure out what where we go from here..."

"Tell us Mistah Jay, why might that be?" Harley asked in a sing-song voice.
"Weeeeell, because we're completely criminally insane! Yes completely criminally insane! They say I've got nothing but laughs in my brain; because I'm completely criminally insane!"
The Joker had broken out into song. Now the rhyming was just ridiculous.
"The Jedi Mind Trick, Genjutsu and Psychic Power; they don't affect me, I'm crazy you see, now have a sniff of my flower!"
The Joker squirted the flower on his jacket... of course, instead of a clown's flower filled with water, this one squirts sulfiric acid -- he wanted to melt Sasuke's face! <insert sound of fangirl's screaming in fear>

Vash was now in the lake and he spit some water out.
"Well, not my most grateful getaway..." He looked up to see Ridley far above in the sky. "... But I don't want to draw attention by fighting that guy."

"They won't melt my skin that way..." Juugo said. "With that trick, they can't win, because I have Curse-mark-powered skin..."
"That doesn't sound like a technical term..." Karin said.
"Who cares, let's just squash this worm!" Suigetsu swung his sword at Harle!

Yuugi, Jonouchi, and Honda ran off, but Anzu gave Lum the evil eye before following.

"EEK!" Hinata screamed, ducking under the water at the sight of Naruto.
"Naruto!" Sakura screamed. "Get out of here! Get out before I--!"
"Wait, maybe he can help us," Tenten said, obviously not very embarassed. "Maybe he can tell us what we're supposed to be doing in this other world."
"Not NOW!" Sakura shouteed back at Tenten.
