Yes! The time has come for me to do this. I've wanted to do this since we started SRB, but I've been slow in putting it together. :LOL:
Anywho! I'll save the mindless chatter and just get started with the information!
[Characters]
I encourage you all to play whatever character you want. Canons, Original Characters and Port Characters are all welcomed. Also: Choose characters from the anime or manga; it doesn't make a lot of difference.
[Alchemy]
There's three ways Alchemy can be used by characters. Either by drawing a transmutation circle, having a item with a circle already on it, or by being able to preform alchemy without a circle just by clapping your hands.
Circle Method: You just have to draw it; and do whatever alchemy you want.
Item Method: Items can only have one circle on them, and that circle can only have one basic function... however, take Roy's gloves as an example... they make fire when he snaps his fingers; but the amount of fire, the shape and the intensity is determined by Roy. So even though the gloves are limited to making fire, they can do everything from sparks to fireballs to raging infernos.
No Circle Method: To do this, you must have seen the Gate of Truth. To see the Gate of Truth, you have to try Human Alchemy. If you try Human Alchemy, you'll lose a body part or organ of some sort to the Gate. In other words: If you want to be able to do this, you'll have to be missing a arm, leg, eye, lung, whatever. Automail is perfectly welcomed. ^^ But let's not go crazy on this, ok?
Anyway... I don't want to get real technical, so I'll just go over the basics.

If you plan on making a OC or PC Homunculus, be my guest, but please... to be fair to everyone, there is a limit of 1 Homunculus per person *TO START OFF WITH*.
If you want one of the 7 seen in the show, that's okay too. :3
Since there can only be at most 7 named Homunculi at any given time, this limit is to insure everyone who wants one can have one. However: You CAN have another homunculus if you want, but not one of the named-for-a-sin kind.
If you play the first video game, there is another homunculus! That means you can have another, but they don't have the Tattoo or the name of a Sin. ^^
The one exception is Fuhrer Bradley. You may not use him. You can make a 'Pride' or 'Wrath' if you like, but it can't be Bradley. You'll see why when we get started. :p

To answer AGOI's question, a OC or PC homunculus can have whatever powers you want it to. The only thing a Homunculus cannot do is use Alchemy. I know Anime-Wrath did, but that was 'cause he had Ed's arm and leg.

Remember, you can make your own Virtue, the ones pictured above aren't musts. (Such I'll be doing for Forty. ;D) This allows for more homunculi; GS and I, I'm sure, can work out an explanation for their existence.

Well, the time line will be cleared up with a Pre-RP fic type thing that will clear up all the loose ends and questions that some may have.

BR's stuff can be used, yes, but also you can make a new one of your own. Or you can use the old Homunculi, except for Pride, Wrath and Lust because they've been taken already.

Hm, Kimi, you were the only one who I considered might want Lust; sorry about taking him. Her. ^^; Good thing homunculi are totally re-makeable. (In the sense that the girl who Lust was based on could be made into a homunculus theoretically infinite times; or she could just grow out of Father's chest, which would be somewhat creepy.)
