Title: Kim Possible
Description: So Not The Drama
Crystal Rose - August 26, 2007 11:18 PM (GMT)
We don't have a Kim Possible topic yet? *gaspeth*
Anyways if you don't know what the show is about it deals with a teenage cheerleader who saves the world on a regular basis :3

| Disney's smash hit Kim Possible is focused on the everyday life of a high school teen. Kim Possible has to find a balance with everything school related, and battling super villains on a regular basis. Of course, all heroes need a wisecracking, clumsy partner. Kim is no exception. The comic relief of the heroic duo, Ron Stoppable, is always there for Kim, though his pet and second best friend Rufus, the naked mole rat, is always there to help out the duo when the going gets rough. |

This is also the second longest show running on Disney Channel, and the only one out of the two still airing new episodes.
Anyways for all that are intrested in catching the show there will be a 54 hour marathon showing all 88 episodes and two movies of the series concluding with the true series finale "Graduation" starting Wednesday September 5th. :3 If you ever missed an episode, or just want to catch it again this is the perfect time.

SRB didn't have a Kim possible topic yet?
*le gasp*
Hmm, a marathon you say? I shall see most of it it!
GoldenSama - August 27, 2007 04:31 AM (GMT)
88 Hour Marathon? :OO
YAY!!!!!!!
Wait... "SERIES" Finale? ;_; NOOOOOOOOO!
It's Titans all over again!

Actually, it isn't. It would have been Titans the first time Kim Possible ended... but they brought it back again, so this time it'll end with... well, an ending.
Teen Titans, on the other hand... *sighs* it ended before it should have... thus why it ended with a cliffhanger.
I'd love it if Titans actually did get brought back and given an proper conclusion. u_u

That was a cliffhanger ending? I just thought it was the most uninspired overly cliche finale type of show I've seen... Plus when not even looking at it from a "series finale" standpoint, it wasn't all that good and really wasn't all that much like the rest of the series Ep. 64 is the true ending, while episode 65 was just a waste of time.
((and there's my TT mini-rant for the year... ))
Anyways, I'm surprised they're holding a mid-week marathon, instead of one for Labor Day weekend.
And now I'm interested in figuring out what the longest running Disney Channel show is...
Clown Prince of Crime - August 27, 2007 05:48 AM (GMT)
Well, I feel it was kinda cliffhanger-ish since Slade came back and... for some reason, Terra.
It left a lot of unanswered questions, ya know?
o_o And now let's stop (or continue this in the Teen Titans thread) before we completely derail this topic! :heh:

The longest running disney channel show is That's So Raven, but only by 10 episodes. That's So Raven and Kim Possible are also the only two disney channel shows in history to pass the 80 episode rule. :D
I'm not even gonna comment on how dissapointing the TT finale was....
I'm excited for the KP one though. The show gave us 20 more awesome episodes and now it'll have a rather fitting ending since most of the stuff we were looking forward to allready happened through this season.
GoldenSama - August 28, 2007 12:20 AM (GMT)
What I like about KP is that, for their final season, they actually did the stuff the fans wanted done! Instead of just shoving the fan opinions to the side and pretending like we don't matter they listened to us and made episodes and storylines that the fans would love. :3

Z....O.....M.....G
You know, I liked the original series finale for Kim Possible, it was fitting, sweet, and overall a nice closing. But....This time around....The hour series finale....Well let me say
ZOMGTHATWASTHEBESTSERIESFINALEINTHEHISTORYOFFINALESEVER!!!!
With spaces now...
ZOMG THAT WAS THE BEST SERIES FINALE THE THE HISTORY OF FINALES EVER!!!!
That's better.
Now of course the finale isn't suposed to be out for another week, after the 54 hour marathon but I stumbled across some info of the web. Apparently it was being shown early on Disney on Demand. Of course at college I don't have that, but guess where I am instead of school.
Maryland rocks......:D
If you have any satelite or cable provider with DOD (Verison, Time Warner, Comcast, etc) I suguest you watch and be freakin amazed at the awesomeness. Seriously, I'm about to watch it again....And again....
I won't spoil though, since not too many people have DOD and i'm not sure when Youtube will post it, but let me say this:
Supporters of two shippings (actually a few others, but two main) will NOT be dissapointed :D
*sob* Now i'm sad that it's over.....
BUT THAT ROCKED MY SOCKS
Clown Prince of Crime - September 2, 2007 09:15 AM (GMT)
Just out of curiosity, would one of those shippings happen to be between villains...?

Spoiler:
Indeed it is X3 The cuteness overwhelms me!!!
Crystal Rose - September 3, 2007 04:37 AM (GMT)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrCQbw37Ow8:3 There is the disney trailer if anyone is intrested (including one of the awkward moments of cuteness)
The trailer still makes me happy even after seeing the episodes!
Clown Prince of Crime - September 3, 2007 04:43 AM (GMT)
Haha! I think that trailer (along with what you said) only affirms that I might be right about my hunch on that... other couple! ;)

Okay, if you haven't seen Graduation yet and you don't want spoilers, then don't read my post. :p
Personally, I do have to say that Ron's Monkey Fist seemed a little too deus ex machina, but all in all, I did find this series finale to be quite enjoyable. For some reason, I really enjoyed the Drakken+Shego moments. Particularly at the end when the vines brought them together like that. Indeed, it was a great series finale and good to see that Kim Possible ended with a bang... unlike some other shows that ended with a mere (and unexpected) whimper... Teen Titans, I'm looking at you!
Crystal Rose - September 6, 2007 07:16 PM (GMT)
Yeah, Ron's Monkey powers were a bit random and unbeatable but at least we got to see him step up XD Monkey style!
For some reason even I started supporting Draken/Shego in this movie XD Dunno why I never noticed how cute it was before. :3 And It's so funny to think that the only plan of Draken's that ever worked was his hero plan XD
That and he was a pansy for half the show :D

Or a Marigold. :p
Anywho, ya, I've heard of people supporting that pairing before, but this was the first time I ever saw there possibly being anything between them. I gotta say, they do make a pretty good pair. Yep, Drakken's only working plan was a heroic one. I guess he makes a better hero than a villain. I wonder if this means that... Drakken has turned over a new leaf... sorry, couldn't help myself. XD
tailsonic15 - September 6, 2007 10:22 PM (GMT)
Ah! Attack of the bad pun!! XD
I liked seeing Ron's monkey powah. It was pretty cool, but it ended to soon. Now, if i were a long, drawn-out battle (but still near 30 minutes....not like Dragonball Z), then it might have been cooler to some.
But it was still awesome.
Crystal Rose - September 7, 2007 01:31 AM (GMT)
I was surprised that with the big finish of the monkey power Sensei only made a breif appearance and Yori wasn't even shown....Boo for that!
AGodofIrony - September 7, 2007 02:33 AM (GMT)
Why have I not posted here yet?
Anyways, yes, Kim Possible rocks. The ending was awesome, and I did like seeing Ron kick some major gluttonous maximus.
Disney Channel: And at the end of the marathon, a never before seen episode!
Me: Except on YouTube. :shifty:
Not sure what else I can say...
knuxallen10 - September 21, 2007 12:51 AM (GMT)
I saw the last episode on youtube too ( try saying that 5 times... really!),
i saw it becouse i couldn't wait, doesn't everybody?
