Its my first Sonic themed picture...I know its not that good. I based it off my online racing team's outfit (2007 Miller Lite). I'll redesign him sometime...(any ideas here? share them if you have any)

Not much else I can say (other than that it's too bad it'd be really really really hard to think of a good way to integrate the "buzzing hornet" from the old Jordan F1 car's nose into the nose design of a stock-car :LOL: ; though it's still awesome that you did get one in front of the rear wheels).

Glad you like it so much ^_^ I edited it since that render though and now Sonic and the hornet face forward on both sides, instead of just the right.

I like underdogs, so that's why I've always liked the Saints. But I'm also a Pac10 guy, so I admit I was excited when Bush was drafted by them...

So you were the one that painted that Pennzoil Zexel COT? That's one of my all time favorites. Can you make that on a TPTCC Skyline sometime? It'd look fantastic in my JGTC collection...

Yup. That was me. I'd do it, but I honestly have never messed with the TPTCC templates, so... Yeah!

You never know, though. I've been wanting to expand my skills a bit.

Oh, and that #55 you did REALLY reminds me of Kevin's ET car from 2002. Thats ALWAYS a good thing.

There's a Skyline template on Phil Wardog's site (see link below). It resembles a 2001 so it'd match that scheme's era (the other below it is a 1999 I think). Hey, if you'd like, maybe we could start a TPTCC themed carset for SRB.

(if your clock is pretty packed, you can send me the .psd to that Pennzoil Zexel COT and I'll edit it on the Skyline myself)

I was tired of my yoshi character so I decided to make something Sonic like. My friend Zip told me not to pick the usual fox/wolf that a lot of other furries picked, so I settled on a squirrel. The last was kind of a rough draft...this one is a bit more accurate to what I really wanted to begin with.

oh! and, that "fox/wolf" thing is called a kitsu i think... u_u

You're thinking of kitsune, which is the Japanese word for fox. And by "fox/wolf", I think he meant fox or wolf... not necessarily a creature that is a combination of the two. :p

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile but I'm back. Did another pic of Lyle...I teamed up with someone from my school's marching band to make this....I made Lyle himself while she dressed him up. She insisted to do the photoshopping so credits to her for that. Comments? :)

It wasnt all your fault. Laguna Seca has some tough braking zones and its easy to overshoot them, especially if you're in one of those COTs with CTS physics because they're harder to stop and steer. If I wasn't so busy with school stuff, I'd race you more often...you have potential to be really good IMO...

I usually don't have those problems at Laguna, though. I was just nervous, I guess. I'm so used to only racing the computer AI.

Next time, I'll send you my custom track I had made for me.

The most important thing to remember is to just be patient when you're racing other people. I noticed you would dive so far into a corner before you applied the brakes that you went straight into the tire barriers just trying to catch up. Instead of pouring it all into one corner, trying spreading out the quickness all around the track evenly. It'll take a bit longer but you won't have a destroyed car at the end. If you remember this, I think you'll be great.

And don't oversteer the car. That'll burn up the fronts quick. :p

Heh, I drive Seca so much like I do on GT4, that I often forget about the tires. And the damage.

I'd do some league racing, but I really have no idea where I could go and actually be accepted. This does give me a good bit of confidence, though.

Actually, GT4 is good because it helps make you used to enduro racing...not sure about Seca...never played it...

I actually just started league racing and I've been playing NR2003 for a year now. What I did is I started racing guys one-on-one on multiple tracks. Second, I went to a forum called tbk.fameflame.dk that run "funraces". Since the funraces aren't a league, technically, its a good a place to start out. They're not as harsh on rookies compared to real leagues. And just a few weeks ago, I joined TTRacing's Pepsi Grand National series (got 8th out of 25 in my first race ^_^ )

Heh, pretty cool. I'll probably start out like that. Just doing some pick-up races until I can really get a feel for the online thing.

One of these days, my ol' #39 might be joining you in that series.

Btw, you should consider painting the SS.net COTs. You should see the new templates they have for them at NNR!

Heh, I've seen em, but I really don't like painting for that mod. To me, the Nisbet templates are way easier to work with.

Y'know, I bet some Sonic schemes would look great on the upcoming ASA-Latemodel 90's mods....(yay Firebirds)

Yeah. I redid it to fit the new SS templates. If you're interested, its my most recent deviation. I'm working on getting my Harvick and Sorenson revisions done as well.
