I wanna be a cartoonist or an animator.... :D They both sound like fun jobs.

Ooh! OOH!! I really want to try glass blowing. Not as a permanent job or anything like that, but as a one time thing, like those places where you can go and make pottery just for fun. 'Cept they need to build a place here where you can blow glass for fun. I think it may be a bit dangerous, though...

But yeah. Definitely something I'd like to try someday.

Professionally, I'd like to teach elementary school, but I also hope to write some books, and voice acting would be awesome.

Frankly, I'm thinking about serving a term as an officer in the U.S. Army (so I'd go to a hot spot, try to hit a terrorist or two (or more) then C_R or somebody comes in as a war correspondent and reports that my mission is a failure and I'm not fighting humanly enough :LOL:) , then either going career with that, or going into video game design/otherwise creation. Those are a couple things that I've considered, at least.

P.S.: If anyone (or at least, a mod) thinks my attack on the media there was to political, I'll edit it out of my post.

Bottom line: shouldn't talk about politics except in brief, b/c we don't want people to be judged based on that criteria, and we certainly don't want people to be offended. What he said was in brief, so it's ok with me. If anybody has any doubt on our 'policies' just ask.

TVoL, I dunno much about RotC, but I know a bit about CS, particularly CS-Engineering. If you're seriously interested in entering both the military and a major that will prepare you for programming on a video game scale, you should be aware of the... of the...

Journalism is a fine profession, provided the journalist does what they can to get the real and unbiased story out to the public. C_R, if you go into journalism, here's hoping you will report the news accurately and fairly, and my apologies for any offense that my remark may have caused in that regard.

And yes, I am aware of how blatantly far apart my stated career paths are.

I've never heard of the glassblower thing. XD My parents just said "get away from the TV or you'll get a headache"...

I've never heard that before, either. For me it was just "Don't sit too close to the TV or you'll go blind and/or get cancer".

Haha, no, it's not for if you're sitting too close... it's if you get in the way! It's like, "Do you think you're made of glass or something, and that I can see the TV through you?" except, "Is your father a glassblower?" I dunno. I didn't make this up. XD

Well to get us back on topic, here are the things I am considering.

- Author/Film Writer: If you're surprised by this, then we haven't met. Hi, I'm Sama.

- Actor: I've considered it. I like acting. I'd probably be better as a voice actor given I can do strange voices.

- Journalist/News Anchor: I've always liked the "investigative journalist" job... but I've also wanted to be a news anchor, be the news program real or fake.

- Politician?: Hahah... probably not. I don't like it when people hate me, and it seems like to make it in politics half the country has to hate your guts. But I've considered it.

- Lawyer: This I've also considered, 'cause I like to argue and I like legal stuff.

- Detective: What? I could be a detective. Solving crimes... it would be fun. Except, you know, I don't like dead bodies.

- Comedian: It would be fun.

Manga-Ka: I LOVE manga. Also, I like drawing.

Character desginer: See manga-ka.

Potiction: Letting the world comment on you is fun.

Guy who finds out how people died: It's fun figuring it out! But I've still gotta go past the cutting open dead bodies part.

Well, me I have MANY options:

Chef/The Next Iron Chef:What, I like the food network, and making food for the top resteraunts would be awesome! Besides, I HAD a cooking class in my 7th grade term, but my cooking teacher passed away....

Lawyer:Well, I watch those judge (insert name here) shows, and to be truthful, as a 13 year old find them oddly fasinating. Also, I'd want to know....what would happen if I yelled the infamous OBJECTION at the top of my lungs in the middle of a important case....That, in my mind...would actually embarrasing/funny...

Guitarist:Well, I happen to play the guitar...too bad it's not electric. I play acoustic, though I'd rather play electric, my parents always say: "It's too much $!!NO." *Sighs* If I could at least learn how to play "Live and Learn", I'd be satisfied.

Well, I'm not in college quite yet, so I'm not totally sure. I will be entering the University of Michigan fall 2008 to study Computer Engineering. Programming and Systems Development meets Circuits and other hardware stuff. Sounds like a blast, and U of M is one of the top 10 engineering schools in the country, ranked between 6 and 9 on most lists.

So what am I going to do? I dunno, develop computers for something. Ideally I'll be put in charge of some of the programmers and entry level engineers somewhere after I've got my Masters and a few years of seniority.

That's Easy!! I wanna be a (drum roll....................) A NASCAR DRIVER!!

Anywyas, my future job? I getting into the film making industry.I'm in college at the moment studying Media and I should be on my way to University ^_^

I want to get a job at NASA and fly to the moon and maybe even mars if they ever send a team there!

But most of all I want to be a professional runner. Like in marathons and all of that.
