SONIC LEGENDS: THE DARK EMERALD

Harry Tsunami was a blond hedgehog his top and bottom quill(s) were down but his middle quill was down, he had cerulean eyes and a orb attached to his necklace. Harry frowned looking out towards the city. Those people. Didn't they realise they were in danger? Harry sighed and walked into the city looking at various buildings until he reached one place in particular. It was a graveyard. Harry went inside Harry's eyes teared slightly as he read the inscription on two graves. Mikato Tsunami 2025 - 2055 (hell if I know the actual Sonic universe year.) loving mother and caring wife. Bryan Tsunami 2015-2055 lost husband and missed father. Harry walked and sat down on a bench he got out a phone and when he turned it on he accesed a map of sorts. Harry looked at it then closed the phone.

-The City-

“It doesn’t matter…Now what happens! I will never give up the fight!”

Sonic hummed to himself, racing through the streets, jumping over cars, waving to the slow humans and Mobians, and just generally having a good time.

There was no particular reason he was at this city. No Eggman attacks, Amy wasn’t currently chasing him, and he wasn’t meeting anyone, but his feet had brought him here.

“Woohoo!” Sonic grinned, then screeched to a halt, right by a hot dog stand.

“Two of your finest chilidogs please!” the hedgehog grinned towards the vendor.

“Of course Sonic!” the man said. Everyone knew who Sonic was, no?

Scarfing down the chili dogs, Sonic headed down the street again, looking for something fun to do.

CITY

Nenunu sighed at the blue hedgehog.
He was a possibal threat to the invasion, that's what her older brother, Keroro, said in reaction to lerning about the blue hedgehog.

She walked over to an ice cream stand and ordered sme strawberry ice-cream.

Harry left the graveyard and walked around he saw the hedgehog. Harry stood in front of him. "Are you Sonic The Hedgehog?"

City | Tails

Unlike his cobalt friend, Miles Prower had a reason for coming to the city. Finding himself in need of better tools, he struggled out of his workshop (he never liked leaving it) and wandered around the concrete buildings, still getting himself hopelessly lost. For a mutated fox with two tails- Tails sure didn't have any sense of direction. But, the kitsune reasoned with himself, maybe he wasn't at all in a rush to get out... Maybe he was enjoying spending some time outside, instead of busily trying to fix something. Hey- everybody needed a little free time. As such, it came as no surprise when he spotted a very energetic Sonic rushing around people and vehicles. The young mechanic almost wanted to follow him, but he decided against it. Sure as anything he couldn't catch up with his pal when he was having a good day. And Sonic certainly seemed to have a lot of them.

Oh, anyway... Strolling along lended Tails a bit more insight to the details, and he didn't fail to see a frog at an ice cream vendor, or another strange looking hedgehog. Huh. Never seen that one about before. Slowing only to ponder the consequences of this, he watched, almost apathetically, as afore-mentioned 'hog caught up with the Blue Blur. Why wasn't Tails surprised- man, Sonic would do anything for a chili dog. Showing no restraint, he approached the two hedgehogs, a grin on his face. "Hey, Sonic." came Tails greeting, accompanied with a polite hand gesture. Harry only got a nod as acknowledgement, but that was a good thing for Tails, who generally tended to be shy and withdrawn around strangers.


City | Espio

This was... well... unexciting. The headquarters had not received any calls, and both Vector and Charmy were off... somewhere. Talk about vague. The instructions the green crocodile had given him echoed in his head, but the chameleon ignored both the words and the memory, battling off frustration and winning. His cool outwards attitude maintained, he allowed himself to wander about the park, having taken the time to rest against a tree.

Yes. Espio was taking a walk in a park. Everybody deserved some kind of break, neh?

The ninja chameleon had duly noted Sonic's presence nearby, as well as Harry's and Tails', and he had also taken other people into account- such as oblivious passer-bys and the ice-cream eating frog. Hum... His hunger for more information gnawed at him, and as such he chose to disappear into a nearby alleyway, rendering himself invisible before he paced towards the small gathering.

Subtle? Nah. Espio wasn't in the mood.

City:Sam

He ran swiftly across the city, until finally, something popped out that he knew of. A field, full of life and flowers, that somhow saddened him so. A single tear dropped out of his eye, and as he went, more dropped, until he burst out in tears of sadness and somewhat, joy. After a couple of minutes, he wondered why he came here, for he was a wanderer, though he had nothing to do, and just as he started running, he saw the familar face, one he had never talked to, but somehow knew, Sonic the Hedgehog, presumably getting a couple of chili dogs for his stomach.And as he sat, another tear came out of his eye and he said: "Brother, you will be avenged, no matter what!"

City

Nenunu was looking for someone, and that someone was Sonic the Hedgehog.

She went to the part while noting about Pekopon's lovely vetagation.
A flower could be pink, blue, or a mixture of the two, a lovey deep purple!
No wonder Dororo loved Pekopon so much, it's nature was very beautiful and bountiful!

Too bad when the Keroro Platoon takes over, this will all be gone...

Oh well. She might as well enjoy it while she can.

Nenunu then noticed a blue hedgehog. She thought it was sonic, but then again...
She walked over to him and leaned in to him, smiled, and said, "Sonic...is that your name?" Nenunu asked the 'hog.

Harry frowned at the two tailed kitsune and all of these other...people around him. Harry sighed "So you are Sonic? Well can't say I'm impressed you look like just another weakling." Harry crossed his arms.

"Well can't say I'm impressed you look like just another weakling."And he crossed his arms.Just then, a red blur shot sideways, blasting Harry in the air with force. "What did you just call me?!?"

"Who in the world are you, ya red hedgehog freak?" Harry said calmly

-City: Hot Dog Vender-

“Weakling?” Sonic sputtered. He had been asked all around suddenly if he was Sonic, then called a weakling, and now two other hedgehogs were fighting!

“Hey Tails!” Sonic grinned, waving to his best bud, “Give me a Sonic Second here!”

Suddenly, blasting around both Harry and the red hedgehog, Sonic created a vortex, sending them into the air and crashing back down to the ground, Sonic halting in front of them.

“My name’s Sonic the Hedgehog, Fastest Thing Alive, Hero of Earth! I don’t know what you want, but if it’s a race or a fight you want, I’ll be glad to comply!” the Blue Blur then grinned, waiting to see their reactions.

*Red glow fades away, revealing a black and green hegehog* "Tch, fine, I'd be happy to oblige!" As he grinned, he said "By the way, the name's Sam, Sam the Hedghog. So Harry, y'ready?"

-City: Hotdog-

“Gonna double team me, huh? Hey Tails, let’s show these guys how team work works!” Sonic grinned, sliding into position, ready to fight.

"Hmph, whether Harry's in or out, I'll beat you. I don't want to harm your friend there."Sam said calmly, while looking at Tails. "No matter, I wish you, or both of you, if he's so eager, luck."

-City: Hotdog-

“Fine then! I’ll take you out first!” Sonic grinned, then curled into a ball, charging for a brief second, then Spin Dashing forward!

Then, right before he would have hit Harry, he uncurled, his foot flying around and aiming straight downwards towards the fellow’s hedgehog’s head!

"Hmph."*Sam starts glowing red*"Chaos...Control!"*Time stops* He runs up to Sonic, appears like he's dashing through him, and stops Chaos Control.In real life, he just hit 137 hits, all swiftly.

-City: Hot Dog Stand-

“Ahh!” Sonic shouted, being hit and thrown into a tree, “He can use Chaos Control huh?”

He hopped out of the three, then looked up surprised, seeing something glowing.

“Alright then…Don’t like copying Shadow, but I will!”

Sonic bounded upwards, grabbing the shining object in the tree, then holding up the blue Chaos Emerald.

“Chaos Control!”

Sonic disappeared, reappearing behind, twisting, and then firing a powerful blast of air straight at the hedgehog named Harry! (Sonic Battle! Wooo!)

"This should be interesting... Let's see if you can do THIS." *fires Chaos Spears*

-City: Hot Dog Stand-

“Who says I need to?” Sonic grinned, rubbing his nose, as the Chaos Spears hit the ground where he was only a second before.

“You can’t beat my speed!” the hedgehog then shouted, bounding forward and forming into a ball, shooting straight at Harry with sonic speed!

"Well then, good luck with THIS."*Move fingers toward Sonic, Chaos Spears redirect toward him*

-City: Hot Dog Stand-

Sonic grinned, still blasting at Harry, then uncurled, grabbing the fellow hedgehog quickly and twisting in mid air, then kicked Harry forward, straight at his own Chaos Spears!

“Hah!”

"argh!" Harry was tired of being tossed around and know he was a sheild?! Harry teleported behind Sonic. "I do not wish to fight you Sonic. I merely wish to see your speed. Only the 'Chosen One' could beat me...in a race." Harry said smirking slightly.

"Heh, I don't mind, I, personally would like to take you BOTH on in a test of speed.'Sides, everyone in the battle, even unintentionally me, ganged up on Harry. So, if everyone's ready, let's go!"Sam said with a smirk.

-City: Hot Dog Stand-

“A race huh? Well I’m the Fastest Thing Alive!” Sonic declared, “Let’s do this!”

The Blue Blur got ready to start off, “And since this is a test of speed, no using Chaos Control to cheat, got it?”

"I'm all about fair." Harry got in a ready stance like a runner in the olympics. "On your marks...get set..."

"Heh, a fair speed race is fine by me, just don't blink, or else you'll miss the part where I beat both of ya!"Sam said with a smile, getting in a stance like in the Olympics.

"GO!" Harry speed off at an unbelieve able speed even the trees were too late to move in reaction to the wind he created.

-City Streets: RACE!-

“I thought you said you were fast,” Sonic grinned, appearing in front of Harry, smirking and rubbing his nose again, running backwards in front of the other hedgehog, “I told you already, you can’t beat me in speed!”

Then, Sonic turned around and poured on a little more juice, shooting ahead in a streak of blue.

Of course, he still wasn’t going as fast as he could…

Harry sped up a bit and began to overtake the blue speedster. "Don't tell me that's the best you've got." Harry said looking at him

City Rooftops

A brown hedgefox wearing goggles was jumping from rooftop to rooftop.

"So relaxing..." The hybrid commented, gazing upon the streets. He soon spotted a blue streak. "A blue streak....that could only mean one hedgehog...So much for relaxing..."

Tailikku darted after the racers, curious as to what they were doing. He was still on the rooftops, and couldn't be bothered with the delay of jumping, so he used his one tail to fly down the building and speed off towards the two streaks.

As TS sped down the streets, he noticed that he was quickly catching up to them. "They must not be going their true speed..."

"Hmm... I sense some strange force... something's not right...hope it ain't bad..."He said, as he dashed toward their location at unbelieveable speeds.

-City: RACE!-

Sonic yawned, his feet pumping faster as he kept on running. Soon, he’d be leaving the city limits…

(Well, Shadow beats him. But only 'cause of his rocket shoes.)

Harry smirked and stopped. "Well, Sonic I guess I was right. You are the chosen one. The fastest. And soon to be savior of the planet."

-City Limits: End Race-

“Psh, tell me something I don’t know,” Sonic grinned, ever humble, then paused.

“Wait, soon to be savoir?” the blue hedgehog wondered, “Is Eggman up to something again?!”

*dashes up to them* "Yeah, what's goin on with the savin' the world? I mean, It's not like this Eggman character's trying to take over..." Sam said as he dashed along the hedgehogs.

Nenunu blinked as she saw some pekoponian hedgehogs dash off, most liky on sonme sort of race.

She downed her ice cream cone and dashed after them, chucking red diamonds after them.

"HEEY! WAIT UP!" She yelled.

(SN, we were all beginners once. Lighten up.)

-City Limits-

“Well let’s head back to the hot dog stand! You can tell me over some chili dogs. Your treat,” Sonic said, then grabbed Harry and Sam’s arms, dashing forward into the city, pulling them along quickly to the hot dog stand, back where the other were, passing someone throwing red diamonds at them…

"No, it has something to do with the master emerald. For centuries a dark sage, Dimitirius, has been trapped within a black emerald that is in the center of the master emerald, like the core of the chaos emeralds negative energy. Now there have been so many negative uses of the emeralds and the black emerald is bound to erupt very soon. Not only breaking the master emerald but releasing Dimitirius. I need your help when this happens, before Dimitirius plunges the world into darkness, again."

Harry said in a dull voice.

"The reason I need your help is because it is said in prophecy that 'only the chaos warrior can defeat the dark sage and destroy him forever'. And from what i've heard you, Sonic are the only naturally born person to be able to control the power of chaos." Harry continued.

TS stopped, and walked up to the Hot Dog stand.

"One chili dog, please" TS recieved the chili dog, and started eating. He overheard the conversation, and, realizing that they were the people he was chasing, he leaned toward them.

"Um, excuse me, but what's this about the Master Emerald?"
