[If you haven't read the first post of the sign ups, you need to do so. It explains what has happened to bring us to the point where we begin at. Your crossover characters can start wherever you want them to, just in some area of the Sonic world.]

Angel Island

Merlin Prower had gathered together many familiar faces for a unfamiliar task. The experimentation done by Doctor Eggman on the strange substance he had found recently had caused grave damage... damage that, if left unchecked, would be irreversible.

"There is a reason I have summoned you all here." Merlin announced. He looked out to the faces on Angel Island and crossed his arms in front of him. His eyes were closed and his whiskers twitched.

"Eggman has caused problems even he cannot understand, yet. Strangers have been appearing in our world... strangers who do not belong. Some of them would be peaceful, while others have brought chaos. Whether they have the best of intentions or malicious intent, there is no way we can allow them to stay."

Merlin held up his arms and seven shining shapes appeared. They were merely a magical representation of the actual objects, but everyone knew what they were: The Chaos Emeralds.

"I'm sure you know what these are... if all seven are assembled, we may be able to reverse what has happened. However... I sense a terrible power here. One that has come from beyond the confines of our world, and it threatens the very existence of our being."

Now the magical representation changed. Instead of showing the seven emeralds, it showed a odd bluish glowing liquid.

"I cannot say what this is... but I can sense the potential for great destruction in it." Merlin warned them.

"It is important that you find the Chaos Emeralds... and should you encounter these beings from beyond our world... be cautious."

[x.X Bad start. I'm very brain dead today, but I can't postpone this any longer.]

(Woot.)

-Angel Island-

Metal Sonic watched/listened from a distance, knowing that if he approached everyone, a fight would probably ensue.

However, this presented an amazing opportunity to Metal Sonic. One, if done correctly, would allow him to complete his programming…

Metal then launched into the air and headed off…

-Station Square-

“…This isn’t Amity Park, is it?” a black haired fourteen year old muttered, looking around.

He wasn’t entirely sure how he got here, and the strange animal-like people threw him off slightly, but after fighting so many ghosts, he wasn’t to bothered by them.

Leaning against a wall, he noticed he didn’t phase through it.

“Guess this means it isn’t the Ghost Zone…Where the heck am I?” Danny Fenton sighed, then continued walking along, looking for a private place.

Elsewhere in Station Square-

“Chatrol…” a blue echidna muttered, looking towards his hedgehog friend.

“Yes Knucks?” the black hedgehog with reddish-pinkish stripes wondered, glancing towards his echidna friend.

“Are you sure you Chaos Controlled us to the right place?” Knuckles II wondered, looking much like his father, except blue.

“Nearly almost sorta, kinda maybe positive,” Chatrol answered, scratching the back of his head, thinking.

Knuckles II sighed, shaking his head, then headed off, out of the alleyway he and Chatrol Gerald Rose were in, “Well let’s see if we’re in a different dimension at least…”

(My next post shall introduce some more of my characters.)

G.U.N. Experimental Technology Base, (a version of) Earth

Didymus stood before the massive portal generation machine. Clad in a newly-completed single-man combat suit containing the latest in G.U.N. weapons, armor, shielding, medical, life-support, and communication gear, and could even be teleported on and off, should Didymus need to look inconspicuous. (it kind of looked like this) The soldier, also carrying an advanced assault rifle, slowly marched toward the portal. Many of G.U.N.'s top generals were there, and flanked the entryway leading up to the dimensional gateway. The were all at attention, and despite his being of inferior rank to them, they were all saluting him. Why? Because they understood he was going on a very dangerous mission. They knew, as he did, that they'd be able to keep in contact with him and send him supplies, but still, he was marching into the unknown. They had some idea of what was on the other side of the portal, but it was a mostly unexplored destination. Slowly, Didymus walked up the ramp, and stood before the portal that beckoned him to enter, and step forward. That portal was controlled, however. Other dimensional rifts that had appeared had been uncontrolled. They were only a minor nusiance so far, but they threatened to devastate the Earth, and Didymus was being sent to discover what's on the other side of them, and stop them if possible. Standing before the portal, he about-faced, saluted, about-faced again, and earnestly, stepped into the portal...


"Rapidverse dimension", Station Square

Didymus stepped out of the portal in another alleyway, still clad in his combat gear, not too far from where Chatrol and Knuckles II were...as he stood there, attempting to get his bearings and reporting a successful warp via his communicator, those two may well have heard him...

Outside Knothole Village, Mobius, "SatAM dimension"

Sally eyed the glowing energy strangely.

"My prinzess," Antoine spoke, beside her "I am to be thinking zat ve zhould return to Knothole...I am getting zees TERRIBLE feeling about zee strange glowing thing."

Sally shook her head.

"No, Antoine." she said, "I have to find out what this is first. Nicole, begin-wha?"

The rift expanded, and began to eminate a sucking force in its direction.

Antoine began to scream. And scream. And scream. And scream. Until, finally, both Sally and he were sucked into it, despite their best efforts to cling to surrounding foliage.

"Rapidverse dimension", outside Station Square

Sally and Antoine landed in a grassy field with a thud. After discovering he was alright, and wiping his brow, Antoine insisted that he help Sally up, which she (eventually) allowed, and, as he began smothering her hand with kisses, (and telling about how scared he was that he might not see her again, and how that was, he insisted, the ONLY reason that he was the least bit scared), to which Sally simply replied that they had to find out where they were.


Angel Island
Not too far away from the gathering on Angel Island, a dimensional rift opened, dropped what looked like a futuristic lab room of sorts, and closed. Inside said room was none other than Gustaf Brackman, complete with his life support equipment, hologram projector, and voice players, musing to himself.

"Oh dear...oh dear me...what was that...I seem to be...according to my scanners...somewhere I have never been before...and there are life-forms nearby...I hope the are not hostile..."

(Note: For a better idea of what it's like in Brackman's quarters, how he talks to people, etc., watch this video. And while we're on the subject, I actually like the UEF better than the Cybrans in the Supreme Commander series. Why? Well, that discussion is for another topic.)

-Station Square-

Chatrol and Knuckles II turned around suddenly, staring at Didymus.

Chatrol was an Ultimate Life Form, so to speak, and Knuckles II was fused with Chaos. Both would sense a sudden rift in space-time opening right behind them.

“Woah!” Chatrol said, stepping towards Didymus. In the shadows of the alleyway, he would look a lot more like his father, Shadow, except for the green eyes, plus the sound of his voice…Still…He only said one word.

“Who are you?” Knuckles II demanded, eyeing the soldier’s gear suspiciously. It was like Terminator. Except Didymus wasn’t a robot, and thankfully, not naked.

-Wisconsin, another Earth-

Vlad Masters paused, looking at the strange portal that had appeared in place of his ghost portal.

“Hmmm…a whole over world…In weeks, I could take it, especially with my…abilities…” Vlad grinned, making sure his suit was nice, he had a briefcase full of supplies, then stepped forward into it…

-Station Square Plaza-

“I take it we’re not going for dinner and a movie tonight then,” The Huntress sighed, dressed in her crime fighting outfit, possibly attracting attention from people of this world, who were not familiar with the concept of masked heroes.

The Question, his face perpetually blank, glanced towards the female.

“A rift in space-time. This is something people like me have been fearing for ages,” The Question said, “We need to figure out what caused it.”

“Can’t the League figure it out?” Huntress sighed.

“Perhaps, but I’m better equipped to deal with it,” The Question answered, looking around.

-Titans Tower, another Earth-

“So, you, didn’t make this, right Rae?” the green changling known as Beast Boy wondered, looking at the strange glowing portal in his room.

“No Beast Boy, I didn’t. Now I’m going to get Robin. You are not to go near the portal. Got it?” Raven said, glaring at Beast Boy, who merely grinned.

Unfortunately, before Raven could float off to get the Titan’s leader, the portal glowed brightly, and both Raven and Beast Boy found themselves being sucked into it…

“DUuuuuuuddeeee…” Beast Boy shouted, his shout dieing out…

Alleyway
Didymus was taken somewhat off guard by the his sudden confrontation by the Chatrol and Knux II. His visor was able to provide him with the light/information needed to see them both clearly, and he noted that there did seem to be something familiar about them. His visor indicated that the atmosphere was breathable and, in fact, was the same here as on Earth.

"One who comes in peace." Didymus said, his voice sounding through a speaker on his helmet's mouth area. With that, he slowly strapped his rifle on his back, and, reaching, up, slowly initiated his helmet removal process. There hissing sound as his helmet slowly came off, allowing Chatrol and Knux II to see his face.

"Call me Didymus." he said, tucking his helmet under one arm and extending the hand on his other arm toward the nearest one of the two, even though it was still in its armor suit.

"As you may have guessed, I'm not from around here. Where is here, anyway?"

-Station Square-

Chatrol stepped forward, then shook Didymus’ hand, though Knuckles II stayed back.

“Name’s Chatrol Rose,” Chatrol said, introducing himself, “And as for where we are, that’s a good question. We’re not entirely sure ourselves. It looks like Station Square, but…”

“Probably another dimension. I don’t sense quite the same life force of the planet. The Elemental Powers appear to be missing, for one. All I can sense is yours Chatrol,” Knuckles II said, shaking his head, “And I am Knuckles the Second. You can just call me Knuckles II, or Knuckles for short.”

Station Square

Didymus was a little surprised. Did that echnidna person just introduce himself as Knuckles the second? That would mean...was this the future? No. Not likely. Things looked pretty modern. And they had mentioned something about another dimension, so it was apparently, well, on the giving end of the dimensional rifts. Interesting. At least he may be able to blend in a bit. Although, judging by the passerby on the street, the anthropomorph population may have been higher here than where he had just come from. Considerably higher. Or it could just be that this Station Square, too, had the highest anthropomorph population on the planet it was on. But Didymus was still more intrigued by his new acquaintances. Their names...Knuckles the Second was rather obvious, but this other one...Chatrol...Rose? Where? Where had Didymus heard a name like this before? He thought. Wasn't it...the newspapers. He had been reading a story about a "pink hedgehog-girl by the name of Amy Rose who always chased Sonic around..." That was it! But that hedgehog-boy...looked like Shadow...Didymus flinched a bit at the conclusion he had just made.

They'll never believe me. the soldier thought.

"Gear off." he said, clearly, and his armor just teleported off him, revealing him to be wearing civilian plainclothes.

"Come on, let's figure out where we are together." he said. "Besides, if it's as similar to where I come from as I think it might be, than I may be able to buy us some lunch or something."

Didymus decided to remain quiet about his guessing as to the parentage of Chatrol and Knuckles II for now.


Elsewhere in Station Square
A portal opened over a dumpster, and out of it fell a young woman in a leather jacket.

"Ewwww!" she said, upon realizing where she was. Quickly climbing out of the dumpster, she began brushing herself off...

"Well, that's just great! Portals just aren't the same without dad around to help generate them." Just then, an anthropomorph walked by her.

"You okay?" it called out.

"Yeah, thanks." the young woman (Alyx Vance) replied, but as the anthropomorh walked off, she suddenly found herself staring after he/she/it.

"Is that a mongoose?" she said out loud.

"Great, now I know I'm in trouble." she said.

-Station Square-

Alleyway

(Vidit! Knucks II has blue fur, since he is fused with Chaos, due to him being in an accident and almost dieing. Just so you know.)

Chatrol raised an eyebrow at the G.U.N. soldier as he seemed to flinch, coming to an conclusion, “I take it we’re not known in your dimension. Must be a past of ours, or we just don’t exist.”

“That’s a comforting thought there Chatrol,” Knuckles II sighed, rolling his eyes.

“Hey!” Chatrol said suddenly, snapping his fingers, turning to Didymus, “Has Eggman, well, nevermind. Probably not from our dimension anyways. But still, want to know anything about our dimension? We can discuss it over lunch.

Dumpster

“This looks like a good place to go Gho…” Danny paused, halting when he saw the young woman in the dumpster.

“Errr…need some help out?” he wondered, attempting to cover up what he was going to say.

(Yeah, my apologies. I caught that. Take a look at my last post, I've slightly edited it.)

Station Square

Didymus gestured to Chatrol and Knuckles II.

"I can fill you in on where I come from, and you can fill me in on where you guys come from. I'll take your questions, and one I'll direct at you, well, hmm, you know, I'm not certain what to ask. Oh, I know. Chatrol, what does the name "Shadow the Hedgehog" mean to you?"

With that, they reached a hot dog/chili dog place, and Didymus sat down at one of the tables, motioning for Chatrol and Knux II to do the same.

Dumpster

Alyx looked at Danny.

He looks a little jittery. she thought.

"Yeah," she spoke up, "where is this place?"

True, she thought it may sound a little strange, but she let herself ask that nonetheless.

(No prob! We all make mistakes!)

-Station Square-

Hot Dog Stand

“Shadow the Hedgehog?” Chatrol grinned, “That’s my dad, Warrior of Water*, the Original Ultimate Life!”

Knuckles II sighed, shaking his head, then looked towards Didymus, “I have a question. Do you work for G.U.N.?”

Dumpster

As Danny helped Alyx out of the dumpster, he paused on her question.

“That…is a good question. I’m not very sure myself,” Danny answered, chuckling slightly, “By the way, name’s Danny. Danny Fenton.”

*(In the Universe where Chatrol and Knuckles II are from, the future of Chaotic Power, Sonic, Shadow, and the others find out they have different powers over an element. Shadow has Water, Sonic Wind, Amy Heart, Knuckles Earth, etc.)

Angel Island, Merlin's Sanctuary

Sonic nodded and proclaimed, "Alright, alright, I get it, I get it. There's no time to waste, I'm on it!"

Before anybody could stop him, Sonic was already gone, proving why his speed was legendary.

"Sonic, wait! Son..." Tails nervously flew on his trail, apologizing to the others, "I'm sorry, but you guys know Sonic can be... well, he's not very patient. Sorry, Uncle Merlin. .."

Tails flew off, after Sonic, leaving the Sanctuary.

Scrap Brain Fortress

Eggman stood in front of a large console, whispering to himself, "These anomalies... they're getting more and more frequent. Could that earlier incident be the cause of all this... hmmm..."

Station Square

Elric walked around, wondering just what happened.

"This doesn't make any sense... Pexxus and Lime disappear in a blink of an eye and in that very same moment Station Square suddenly gets renovated. The place looks like it would have 50 years ago."

It was then that he noticed people walking around.

"Hmmm... just what is going on here?"

Elric climbed up on a statue of Sonic the Hedgehog that stood right in the middle of Station Square's Central Park. As the green furred ape perched atop the statue, he began scouting the area while thinking to himself and trying to make sense of his situation.

=Station Square: Jin Kazama=

The black haired human looked confused and mildly suprised. That portal just came out of nowhere and sucked him up. Where was he. Jin frowned, he was obviously in a grouchy mood. The fighter saw two cretaures resembling a large humanoid rodent talking to a human. Jin walked to them. "Do you three have any idea where the hell I am?" Jin asked rudely to the group regardless of how much trouble he could cause just by a few rude lines.

The female echidna sighed that hedgehog really is hopeless... "So, Merlin. What should our next course of action be?" Julie asked crossing her arms.

Station Square

A dark green frog-like thing(With a tadpole tail) was in a actiony pose(I ran out of synonmyns. Be quiet) holding a buncha cards.

She got out of the actiony pose and looked around quizzacaly.

"Waitaminuite. Is there some kinda disfuction in the training room? Kururu! This in not funny! KURURU! I MEAN IT!"She yelped.

Nenunu noticed the gorilla(Or is it ape?) on top of the statue.

"Hey! Get down from there! You're gonna fall and break your head you stupid pekoponian beast!" She insulted the Gorilla.

Crisis City, before it was known as Crisis City. Soleanna.

The gray hedgehog surveyed his surroundings. He hadn't gotten used to living in the past yet, but he was definitely enjoying the peace, and, if you will, simplicity the past offered. Silver was uneasy about something, though.

"Gah... Whats wrong with me? Its like... Its like I can hear him laughing in my head..."

Teh City: Spork HQ.


"Sigh... Just another day without any action whatsoever." The arrogant warrior sadly conceded as he laid on his new couch, tossing a baseball into the air repeatedly. He couldn't complain too much. He was pretty much living "the good life" thanks to allying himself with the Professor, but he was bored of the tranquility. He wanted some action.

Lets just say his wish would come true. A small portal-like thing began to appear in his room.

"Bloody hell?" Avenger quizzed, staring at the growing portal. "This must be another one of Doc's tricks." He thought. Since moving in, the Professor couldn't help but pull pranks on his rival, and most of the time, they worked to perfection. "Yo! Spork-boy! I ain't falling for it!" He yelled as he plopped back down on the couch. Thats when he heard footsteps outside.

"Avenger! Jimi and The Professor are gone!" Hammah yelled in a panic.

Avenger showed some mock worry. "Great. Now he's got you in on his pranks as well."

"This isn't a joke! They're really gon----Ooh! Pretty!" Hammah interjected as he noticed the portal. "I saw one of these in the lab!"

"Wait. You mean... This thing isn't just some joke? Well... Lets see what it does." Avenger said, beginning to grin. "You up for this, kid?"

"You bet!" Hammah said, beaming from ear to ear.

With that, the two jumped into the portal...

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

BOOM!

The two Custard-I were expelled from the portal with an absolutely brutal force.

"Well, don't expect me to fly the unfriendly skies with you dirtbags again..." Avenger quipped, brushing the dirt off his coat.

Thats when they noticed their surroundings. The salty air was quite a difference from the city air they were used to. The tranquil ocean in front of them, was sparkling, and a real sight to see. The sand was a little bit different, though, sporting a somehow perfect brown and orange checkerboard pattern.

Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......... BOOM!

"Whoa, hit the deck!" Hammah yelled, dodging the blast. "You ok?"

"I'll manage... Gah... This was my best coat too..." Avenger sighed, dusting off the coat again. "You?"

"Absolutely peachy!" The optimistic Custard replied. "That bee isn't too happy, though!"

"Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... Intruder........ Capture by order of Robotnik..........."

"Well, we're certainly not in Kansas anymore." Hammah quipped.

"Damn. Hope my royal subjects can survive without me." Avenger said with a grin, arming his saber...

((A gorilla is a kind of ape, just like a duck is a kind of bird))

Station Square, Central Park

Elric turned to Nenunu and raised an eyebrow... or whatever ((I guess he doesn't really have eyebrows)).

"You don't have to worry about me, I have a very good grip. Plus..."

He jumped off of the statue and did several flips in the air ((kinda like Samus' screw attack)) before landing on the ground, leaving a large indentation where he landed.

"Falling isn't that big of a deal to me, anywhere. Now tell me... what happened here? Why is Station Square not in ruins? Is this a different time? And what about Dr. Eggman. I need to know just what's going on around here! Tell me!"

Green Hill

"Thanks. You saved me again, Mario!" were the words coming from the pink-clad Princess Peach after Mario had destroyed a Motobug that was heading towards her.

"No problem, Princess! I just wish I knew where we--" BAM!!

Something crashed right into Mario. It was Sonic! He had been going too fast for Tails to catch up with, so Tails had to put a miniature explosive in his left shoe... which just so happen to go off a mile or two before getting to this point, having caused Sonic to trip and run into Mario.

Peach gasped, "MARIO!! Are you okay?!"

Station Square, Central Park

Nenunu's eyes bulged when she saw Elric.

She was so intimadated by Elric's large size, that she was speechless for a few moments.

But then she recovered(but still shaking) and she wimpered "Ummm...uhhh...I'm just as confused as you are mister beast sir. I...I'm not even sure you're real...".

Nenunu was so scared.

Is this Kururu's idea of a sick joke? I'M NOT LAUGHING! She mentally screamed inside.

Station Square, Central Park

"Not sure I'm... real?" Elric thought out loud. The great simian began to rub his chin while contemplating his situation. Elric wasn't really the brightest bulb, though, so he wasn't going to figure out what was really going on. However, he did at least have the capacity to understand that things were not as they should be.

"Whatever's going on here, I don't like it. I wouldn't be surprised if that fat egg-shaped old fart is behind this, though."

Elric then noticed how nervous Nenunu was. Elric sighed and said, "Look, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm one of the good guys. My name's Elric. Elric the Gorilla."

Elric slammed his large, gloved right primate fist into his open left palm. "Whatever's going on here, I plan on putting a stop to it!"

Green Hill

"I think I'm alright." said the dazed little plumber. Both he and Sonic were getting themselves up and dusting off. While getting up, Sonic looked at his left shoe, which looked fine. The explosion was enough to cause Sonic to lose his footing, but not enough to hurt him.

"When did Tails put that in there? That crafty little fox is always coming up with strange gadgets. Sometimes I have trouble telling him and Eggman apart." He thought to himself.

Mario looked at Sonic and asked, "Are you okay?"

Sonic answered, "Ya... have I met you before?"

Mario looked at him oddly, but couldn't help but admit, "I don't think so, but at the same time... I feel like I know you..."

"Sonic! Sonic, I'm coming!" Tails' voice was heard from a very far distance. Tails was still trying to catch up!

Scrap Brain Fortress

Eggman was done analyzing. It was time to take action.

"I believe it's time I gather those magnificent Chaos Emeralds once more!"

"But Dr. Robotnik..." a scratchy voice said, coming from Scratch, "Can't we rest a little more? You JUST got done with that weird... whatever it was that happened to you!"

"QUIET you fried bucket of bolts! Can't you see? If I don't get those emeralds right now, I'm certain that meddlesome blue rodent will snatch them up first! Our world is going under rapid changes and I need to make sure I stay on the upper hand! Ready the Wing Fortress! I'm not taking any chances!"

Scratch and Grounder saluted in unison, "Yes, Dr. Robotnik!"

Station Square, Central Park

"Huh? Oh that's a reilf. Thank you...but can you do a favor for me?" Nenunu aked Elric.

Not waiting for an aweser, she walked over to Elric.

Nenunu poked him, and was happy when she found out that he was real.

"So...Mr. Beast. What are you?" She asked him.

Station Square, Central Park

Elric said, with a hint of annoyance, "Please... could you stop calling me that? My name is Elric."

Then he scratched his head, "And what do you mean 'what am I'? I just said, I'm a gorilla. What, are you some sort of alien or somethin'? How could you not know that just by lookin' at me?"

Station Square, Central Park

"Actually, You're not far off, Elric. I'm glad I could meet you." Nenunu grinned at him, closing her eyes and smiling.

"Oh! Who was that person you metioned?" She asked Elric, opening her eyes.

South Island: The Emerald Hills

BANG!

SLICE!

PWOMP!

200 POINTS!

Two beings emerged from the smoke. One, a small squirrel. The other, the shadowy figure Avenger. He did a quick flip, for style points, and landed beside his comrade.

"One hit? That was a bit too easy, even for you..." Hammah muttered, wondering what was going on, and, more importantly, where they were. He had to admit, though, he was enjoying the scenery, even with the weird sand.

"Robotnik, eh? Interesting..." Avenger said. He then sensed a dark presence in the area...

Hot dog stand

Didymus was about to answer Knux II's question when suddenly there were interrupted by Jin. His sudden, profane inquiry took him somewhat aback. That, and that he didn't exactly know where they were himself.

"Umm...well, I'm not quite certain myself." the soldier said, a little hesitantly.

Dumpster

"Alyx." Alyx replied to Danny. She didn't give the "Vance" part of her name, as she didn't know where, exactly, she was, and her dad, Eli Vance, was a well-known member of the anti-Combine resistance (he was until *SPOLIER* *SPOILER*SPOILER* he was dispatched by a Combine adviser at the end of Half-Life 2: Episode Two. *SPOILER* *SPOILER* *SPOILER*

With that, Alyx looked around.

Sure doesn't look like a city I've seen before. she thought. Maybe I actually am in another dimension.

-South Island: The Emerald Hills-

“Well, it seems like you two are here as well…” a voice muttered, an utensil suddenly embedding itself into a Bomber Bee that was sneaking up on Avenger and Hammah.

The Bomber Bee blinked, then exploded, a bird flying out of it.

“This isn’t Rapid Island,” AGoI smirked, appearing from behind a boulder on the beach, Jimi floating behind him, “Eggman’s robots should take orders from me too, being he’s technically second-in-command of T.H.E.M., but these robots won’t listen to a word I say.”

“Hey Hammah!” Jimi grinned, waving towards his clone bro, “Weird portal thing too?”

-Soleanna City-

“Dude! Raven!” Beast Boy shouted, as the two appeared in a portal on top of a building, Beast Boy looking around widely, then down towards the ground, pointing towards Silver, who wasn’t very far away.

“It’s a giant hedgehog!” Beast Boy exclaimed, sounding a little frightened, “Maybe we entered a world where hedgehogs are our overlords! Planet of the Hedgehogs…”

Raven sighed, shaking her head, “No. We’re in another dimension. Not another time. Dimension.”

“Oh…” Beast Boy said, quieting down, “Still…Giant hedgehogs!”

“Of all the people I get sucked into a different dimension with…”

-Hot Dog Stand-

“Different dimension,” Chatrol said, raising an eyebrow towards Jin, “Believe me on this.”

Knuckles II sighed, crossing his arms, not looking towards Jin, “And you don’t need to be so rude.”

-Dumpster-

“Well, I’m lost as well…Man, I am so grounded when I get home…” Danny sighed, shaking his head. “Least I get a break from the gho…gho…going…to…school…”

“I need to be more careful…Might be a different dimension, but still…”

South Island: The Emerald Hills

"Well... Nice save, Doc." Avenger said with a grin. "These don't seem to be Eggman bots, though. The wasp mentioned something about a 'Robotnik'... Any ideas?"

Hammah noticed his brother across from him. "Yup! Nice place, though, isn't it?" He replied, cheerful as usual.

Hearing the clamor across from him, Silver finally picked himself off his knees.

"What? Who are they?" He asked himself. He knew they weren't native to his world.

"GAH!"

Silver dropped down to his knees. His brain being tormented with a sinister laughter...

South Island, The Emerald Hills

A young man was awakening from his slumber, stretching and getting up. Previously, he had fallen asleep in a very similar looking lush valley to the one he was in now prior to falling into a dimensional rift. However, despite there being a few differences between the two places, he didn't seem to notice at all. He had no idea he was in a whole other dimension.

It was then that the spikey haired teen noticed a group of individuals not too far off. He dusted off his redish-orange gi and approached the group. He picked up his Nyoi-bō "power pole" and fastened it to his back as he asked the group a question.

"Hey there! You guys here training too or something?"

Station Square, Central Park

Elric was genuinely confused. "Huh? Who did I mention? I don't remember mentioning anyone."

((I know that you're most likely talking about Eggman, but Elric is a bit dense so I just have to have him be in-character.))

Jin shouted in annoyance and punch a building, causing a massive dent. He breathed deeply. Jin's anger was getting to him. Calm down Jin, calm down. Don't lose it...you know and I know what happens if you do! Jin looked towards Knuckles II. "Don't be rude? How DARE you try and tell me what I can and can't do. You little FREAK." Jin was losing it, he could feel the anger eating at him.

Station Square

A brown hedgefox was walking through town, carrying a stack of pancakes. "Mmm...pancakes" He said befere the pancakes dissapeared in his mouth. "mmmm...urk!" TS said, his stomach had strated hurting. "I hate this side affect! My spleen..." the hedgefox muttured as he clutched his stomach.

Abooooooout....3 seconds later, TS pretended as if it never happened as he flew through the city.

-Station Square: Hot Dog Stand-

"Uh oh..." Chatrol muttered, and Knuckles II rounded on Jin.

"Freak you say?" Knuckles II snarled, and seemed to get larger, which, he actually was. "A freak? Well, I might be a freak, but I'm whole lot stronger then you! Now I suggest you calm down, before I calm you down myself."

The echidna paused, now about three times his normal size, then began to shrink back to his normal size.

-Soleanna City-

"Hey Raven! That hedgehog looks like he's in pain!" Beast Boy shouted, genuinely feeling concern for his fellow animal, and hopped off the building and ran over to Silver.

"Dude, you okay?" Beast Boy asked, bending down on one knee, looking towards Silver.

Raven floated down behind the green changling, and looked at Silver, frowning.

"There's...something in his mind..." Raven said slowly, "Azurath Metrion Zinthos..."

A black shadow wrapped around Silver's head for a second, then flew in, Raven focusing her powers, attempting to find the presence in Silver's head and kick it out.

-South Island: The Emerald Hills-

"Training?" The Spork wondered, turning towards this mysterious man in a reddish-orange gi who could probably eat as much as Kimi and Jimi combined, "No, we're lost."

"Any idea where we are?" Jimi wondered, floating like he usually did.

-Station Square Plaza-

A brown haired boy sighed, looking around and shaking his head.

"Can't find Riku, Kairi isn't here, and neither are Donald or Goofy," the teenager sighed, "And I'm in another world..."

Suddenly, he grinned, looking up towards the sky, "Well I better find Riku and Kairi then! Then we can explore this world!"

Sora, a Warrior of Light, was probably one of the best suited people to be traveling to different dimensions. After all, he had been to other worlds, and to him, this was just another new one.

Wing Fortress

Dr. Eggman's magnificent giant airship was now above South Island, as Eggman began his search for the Chaos Emeralds. He said nothing as he paced back and forth, looking at readings and adjusting dials and buttons on some of his equipment. Meanwhile, Scratch and Grounder were just standing around... being quite useless, as usual.

South Island, The Emerald Hills

Goku tilted his head, "Hmmm... now that you mention it, I'm not sure. I hadn't noticed, but this place looks a little different now than when before I took my nap. I guess I don't really know where we are, either. It doesn't really matter to me, though, I can find my way out of just about anywhere! Was there somewhere you guys were headin' to?"

Station Square

TS had been walking through.....stuff. I don't know what stuff. But the muffin man was involved. Because I am the eggman...and there are eggmen...and I am teh walrus.

Aaaaaanyway, TS soon spotted Sora and rushed over to him.

"Waffle?" He asked, holding a plate of waffles.

((TS is preeetty stupid sometimes, and yet he has Tails' DNA...and his smartness...))

Station Square, Central Park

"That...egg-shaped freak or something like that. You said something about a "fat egg-shaped old fart" as well Elric." Nenunu replied the the confused Gorllia.

Wow...I didin't even know Pekopon had such powerful beasts... The frog alien thought to herself.


Station Square Plaza

"Hold it, Damn Pekopon Boy. No one gets close to my Nenunu-chan. Except for me." A Nazi-like frog guy who was black with a White face held his hand up meancaly at Sora.

-Southern Island-

“Unless you know how to travel through dimensions, I don’t think you can help us…” The Spork answered, shaking his head, “Now if Rowen were here, might be able to try that same trick we used to get to…”

Spork paused, then went silent for now, looking upwards.

“That’s Eggman’s ship! I’d recognize it anywhere…Doubt it’s Rapid Island’s Eggman though,” AGoI said, pointing up towards the huge ship now floating above them.

“Now it would be good if I had Eddie with me…Then I’d be able to contact him…”

-Station Square Plaza-

Sora paused, first, being offered waffles by a strange creature, then a frog guy threatened him and called him something he didn’t know what it was.

“Uhhh…Hey…” He said slowly, “My name’s Sora. I don’t mean any harm. I’m just looking for my friends.”

South Island: The Emerald Hills

Avenger, blatantly ignoring most of the conversations, couldn't shake the feeling he was getting. What he was sensing was unlike any darkness he had felt before.

"Man... I don't know who or what this is, but I seriously don't want to meet it in a dark alleyway..." He muttered to himself. Hammah, however, happened to be within earshot.

"Whats going on? You ok, bro?" The younger Custard asked the dark warrior. "Yo! Unknown dimension we're lost in to Avenger!" He yelled, finally getting his attention.

"Wha? Oh... Sorry holmes. I'm fine." He shakily replied, not exactly putting Hammah's fears at ease. "Whos the new guy in the orange?" Avenger then asked. "Whoever he is, I'm lovin' the hairstyle."

"He said his name was Goku. Seems pretty nice to me!" Hammah replied, smiling as usual, although not as cheerful as usual.

"Goku, eh? I know that name sounds familiar... Come to think of it..." Avenger said, trailing off in his thoughts again.

"Hey! You! With the kickass hair! You wouldn't happen to have a son named Gohan, wouldja?" Avenger then yelled at Goku, hoping his instinct was right.

((Heh... this should make things interesting, considering what point in time this Goku is from. :p))

South Island, The Emerald Hills

Goku was taken aback by Avenger's comment. "A... son? No, I can't say I have one of those. But my grandpa's name was Gohan. And both his and my last name are Son, so maybe you're a little confused about that. I know I'm a little confused, anyway. Why are you asking me this?"

The eighteen-year-old warrior was indeed confused, but he was genuinely interested in why Avenger would throw him such a question.

((Dang! Must've misread that! Oh well.))

South Island: The Emerald Hills

"Dang... I coulda sworn that was the guy I heard about... Theres gotta be a connection..." He thought to himself.

"Alrighty... I'm intrigued..." Avenger muttered, again catching the attention of Hammah. "About what, Venge?" Hammah curiously asked.

"This 'Goku' guy... Theres no doubt about the similarities here. He's got the same hair, same surname, and he has a grandpa named Gohan..."

"Similarities to what?"

"Back in the day, another one of those weird holes opened in the forest, while I was mediating on whether or not I should join you and Pibb..." Avenger started, taking a sip of coffee from his bottomless thermos. (WTF?) "These two people came out of it. One was a girl named Videl, and the other was a guy, apparently her husband, named Son Gohan. He mentioned he had a father named Goku, and the person he described fits this Goku's description perfectly, although I doubt this 'Goku' is old enough to father an twenty year old boy..."

"Avenger... What are you planning...?" Hammah asked, glaring at Avenger. "You remember what happened the last time you tried to interrogate someone!"

"Yeah... I'm still having trouble finishing the cleanup..." Avenger replied lowly. "Still, I have to figure out whats going on with this. The coincidences are just too big to just be coincidences."

"Why are you asking me this?"

"Its nothing, duke. Forget I said a thing!"

South Island, The Emerald Hills

Goku wasn't sure what the heck these guys were going on about... what little attention he payed to them, anyway. But he took Avenger's offer and said, "Well, alright then." He crossed his arms and looked upwards, "What's the deal with that thing up there, anyway? I think it's one of those... what did Krillin and Master Roshi call them again? Planes? But I've never seen one THAT big!"

"Goku! Goku, where are you?!"

A voice was heard from the distance. Goku turned around to see his fiancé, Chichi.

"Hey, Chichi! I was just talking to--"

Chichi interrupted Goku, "Goku, how can you be so calm?! Everything around us has changed! I don't even know where we are anymore! Haven't you noticed how weird looking everything is?"

Goku scratched his head and answered, "Sorry, Chichi... to tell you the truth, things did seem a little different, but... it doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me."

Chichi sighed, "Oh, Goku... you're so helpless sometimes. But I still love you!" She wrapped her arms around his left arm, while little hearts emanated from her head and shoulders.

"Chichi, would'ja cut it out? Every time you do that, it makes me feel funny."

Chichi swooned and said, "Oh, Goku, you're so shy! Now, let's try to figure out where we are so we can go meet up with father and tell him about the wedding."

Then Chichi turned and looked at the group in front of her, "Oh... are these friends of yours, Goku?"

Goku said, "I guess so... I mean, they seem nice. I just met them."

Chichi politely bowed and said, "Hi, I'm Goku's fiancé, Chichi. Whom might you gentlemen be? And by any chance, if you don't mind me asking, would you happen to know where we are? We kind of... ended up here by accident, somehow."

Station Square Plazza

"Hello, Sora!" The brown hedgefox replied. "My name's TS! Nice to meet you! Looking for your friends, you say? Maybe I can help!"

TS had been bored most of the time he was eating pancakes. The time he got out of boredom was when Megagorrillazor attacked, but that had passed....He thought it might be fun to help Sora!

Angel Island-Brackman's room

Brackman was still pondering out loud to himself.

"Hmm..." he said. "It seems I am on a planet I have never been to, or even heard of, before, with an Earth-like climate, but many life-forms I have never encountered before...as nice as it is to be away from that terrible war, I am needed in it. I must return...but I doubt I shall be able to do it alone. I wonder, should I signal to those creatures over by that altar with the large emerald? I detect massive amounts of energy coming from that emerald...hmmm..."

Station Square-hot dog stand

Didymus was made rather uneasy by the tension occuring around him. In addition to the fact that it seemed that there was a lot of overreacting occuring, it may well get violent. Didymus knew that all he had to say was two words, and he'd have his combat gear. But he decided to wait, still alert.

Dumpster

Alyx was no stranger to the multiverse idea, and decided to test the connection between where she was, and where she had come from.

"Danny, did you say?" she said. "Again, I'm Alyx. Alyx Vance."

She then awaited Danny's reply, to see if her last name got any kind of reaction.

Station Square Central Park

Sally and Antoine had walked along, discussing thier situation. To his credit, Antoine was remaining calm, but that may be because he was stuck with Sally in a world where, as they had never been to it before, he thought the competion for her was considerably less. However, she didn't seem interested in his advances.

"So..." she said. "I still can't get Nicole to determine where we are. It must be another planet, or something. I mean, what kind of city is built like this? On Mobius, Robotnik wouuld have-oh my gosh! Is that supposed to be Sonic?" she then pointed at the statue in the center of Station Square's central park. Antoine was dissappointed to discover that, indeed, it seemed so. Eager to get Sally's attention away from that matter, spoke up,

"Excuse a moi (or however you spell that French phrase), my prinzess," he said, pointing to the cluster of people gathered near Sonic's statue, "but who do toi zhink zhose 'eople are?"

-South Island: The Emerald Beach-

“My name is Prof. AGoI,” The Spork said to Goku, “This is Jimi.”

The floating clone nodded his head towards Goku.

“And that’s Hammah,” AGoI pointed to the yellow shirted non floating clone, “And Avenger.” He indicated the trench coat wearing Custard-I.

-Station Square: Plaza-

“Really?” Sora grinned, “Sounds great! There names are Riku and Kairi.”

-Station Square: Hot Dog Stand-

“Knucks, chill already. No need to get in a fight with someone from another dimension,” Chatrol sighed, shaking his head.

Knuckles II frowned, then nodded his head in agreement, “You’re right…for once…”

“Hey!” Chatrol said, feigning anger, then grinned.

-Station Square: Dumpster-

“Good to meet you Alyx Vance,” Danny said. The name didn’t ring any bells to him.

“You’re covered in trash too…Oh, hey, look behind you!” Danny suddenly shouted, pointing behind Alyx. He was going to try something, but he didn’t want Alyx to see…

Station Square, Central Park

Elric leaned up against the statue of Sonic and answered, "Ya, okay, I guess you really are from another planet or something. But the guy I'm talking about is Dr. Robotnik."

Elric was talking rather loudly, so anybody nearby would likely be able to hear him quite clearly.

"So, while I don't know what's going on around here, I'd bet a billion bananas that ol' Egg-belly is the one behind all of this!"
