It's that time of year again.

... Okay, so it's still November. But it's ALMOST that time of year again, and people need time to work on their gifts, so we're starting early!

SECRET SANTA 2007

Here's the way it works:

I. Reply to this thread indicating that you'd like to participate in Secret Santa 07. Also include three "themes" for your gift. (A anime you like... your favorite game... a character you love... ect) please also explain why you are listing this, or leave a wikipedia link to that subject, so as to avoid confusion.
II. You will receive a PM containing the name of another forum member and the three "themes" they suggested. Make them a gift based on one or all of those themes. What kind of gift? A Signature, A Avatar, A Fanfic, A Fanart, A AMV... whatever comes to mind!
III. Send your gift to me; to Sama! I'll post them all here on Christmas!
IV. The gifts will be posted here on the 25th, and you get to enjoy them!

RULES:

I. Keep It Clean.
II. If you say you want to be part of this, then participate! You have ample time to finish your gift, so please have it done by December 23rd
III. Please don't post the present on SRB or DeviantArt UNTIL AFTER CHRISTMAS! It'll ruin the surprise.

DEADLINES:
You have until Sunday (December 2nd) to sign up.
You have until December 23rd to make your gift.

Ah, the third annual SRB Secret Santa. Gotta love it.

I am so in! And as much as I love Winry, I'm excluding her from my list this year because the person who does my gift ALWAYS chooses her, so then there's no point in making my list have 3 different themes! XD

1) Anything pertaining to Urusei Yatsura
2) Anything pertaining to Pexxus the Groundhog (the series, not necessarily just the character)
3) Anything pertaining to Ash & Friends (it should be distinct so as to be seen specifically as A&F related and not just Pokémon related)

Okay, I think I came up with a somewhat unique list this year. I know people will be shocked that I took Winry out of the equation, though! :heh:

I shall sign up!

1. Something Kimimi related (Pm me for a picture)
2. Something Fatal Frame related as well.
3. Something Kirby 64 realted (I luve that game C:)

I'm in! Hopefully I'll come up with an idea that I can do, that's more interesting and more liked than a sig... :heh:

Anyway, to copy what CPoC said, pretty much everyone knows most of what I like, so I'll just list some other stuff (so I don't mind if you deviate to something not on this list, as long as it isn't Country Music, Mashed Potatoes, overcomplicated time-travel, or McDonalds; I hate those things. A lot.) :

1.) Botan, or anything YuYu Hakusho-ish
2.) D.Gray-man (if you do something involving Lenalee, please go with the long haired style, not her more-recent short-hairstyle)
3.) Bleach

What is this character(?) from, so whoever gets you for the Secret Santa knows who to look for? (Google fails in helping narrow that down, even if you give a picture)

I'll probably give a fic. Anyway, some themes for me...

It's just a guess, but I think that character might be from Keroro Gunso (Sgt. Frog). However, I think Kimimi is SN's OC and not an official character, if my hunch is right.

Yeah, she's my Oc, as well as Nenunu.

But Captain Tamama is a Semi-Oc, because he's my the version of the physcoticc person he was when Tamama became Leader of the Platoon.

Anyways, it isn't Christmas, and it isn't very close to Christmas, but I'm in a gift-giving mood right now, and would rather y'all enjoy this stuff throughout most of what'll be you all's winter breaks... So...

For everyone who goes to DA and here regularly, I've gotten you a 1 month subscription (except AGoI, 'cause it's cheaper to get one 3-month than two 1-months, and I'm a cheapskate XD )

Also, another gift for you all: An archive of the original Secret Wars RP I stumbled into that board earlier and noticed that it wasn't in its dumb state of closed-so-noone-can-see-anything, so I went around and saved everything I thought was interesting from there. As such, I saved SW1, its signups thread, and two other bonus RP things that were on there, and that the regulars here may think of as interesting (and certainly worth downloading even if it was just for them). Happy downloading! (though note that it is an RAR archive that's around 180MB in size, so those on dial-up should ask for me to try and assemble all that stuff into a really small package, which'll probobly not look pretty, but will hopefully be smaller; also note that winRAR, or some other similar programs, are needed to extract from RARs)

No, I only had an archive of SW (and even then, JUST the RP and not the sign-ups), however I don't know where it is, so no matter what, this is an awesome find, DP! XD

As for the bonus stuff... most excellent. The Search is great as it was pretty much what predetermined just what the main focus of the message board I wanted to make was going to be about. Battle of the Brains was unfortunately short lived, but I still think it's a blast to look back as it was originally meant to be the official sequel to SW.

Man, reading through the SW sign-ups really takes me back. Heh, it really was where everybody met! XD Prior to that, I didn't know GS, BR, Joha, Kimi, or CR. But we all met there in that RP. And, of course, The Search further added what would later be SRB founding members.

Interesting... Upon reading SW1 signups, I've noticed that SW1 was both BR's and Kimiko's first RPs. SW2 was both AGoI and my first RPs (I'm pretty sure it was AGoI's first; and I was a part of a few dead-on-arrival RPs about a year and a half before SW2, but those don't count 'cause I made only like 4 or 5 posts total in those two)

And :LOL: on everyone missing the subscription gift. XD
