Title: Futurama
Description: The show of tomorrow, now!

This topic is for any and all discussion of Futurama!

So, you can discuss the show or anything about it you like, but in reality, the main reason I created this thread is to talk about... Bender's Big Score!

Now, I suggest that any "BBS" spoilers be have big purple spoiler headings before and afterwards to indicate as such, with the spoilers themselves italicized. For example... say I'm talking about the movie then all of a sudden I happen to mention that *SPOILER* Bender destroys the entire universe *SPOILER* or some such. Ya, just like that.

So, has anybody else seen BBS yet, or am I the only one? Anyone planning on seeing it sometime in the future? Heh... sometime in the "future". I cracketh myself upeth. Okay, no, I don't, that was a horrible pun.

Oh, and if you're too lazy to type the necessary something or other to hide your spoliers:
CODE
[b][color=purple]*SPOILER*[/color][/b]

EDIT: And I just recently found out that Bender's Big Score will indeed be chopped up into four episodes for the new "season" on Comedy Central. I put season in quotes because the CC episodes will just be chopped up movies (there's going to be three more Futurama movies). They're gonna retool the movies and add stuff in (while, I guess, also taking stuff out) to make them work as episodes. If they can pull that off successfully, then good for them, I guess, but after seeing Bender's Big Score, I can't see how they can do it! :heh:

And after seeing the way that Bender's Big Score ends, I'm quite happy to have found out that the next movie, The Beast with a Billion Backs, picks up directly where Bender's Big Score left off.

<_<

There is a Futurama movie (though I still haven't had time to watch it yet :cry: )

...

...

And so what if it isn't an anime? There isn't a rule stating you can't make a thread about a cartoon in the section where such threads are supposed to be...

Clown Prince of Crime - December 19, 2007 08:12 AM (GMT)
It's the Animation Zone, not Anime Zone. So any animation, regardless of where it comes from, can be discussed here. ^_^;

And I've been wondering if you've seen that movie yet or not, DP. Hopefully you'll have time to see it soon! But, again... I warn you that there is a LOT of time-travel involved.

DBOZGT - December 19, 2007 08:02 PM (GMT)
Oh I see my Bad lol lol lol I didn't know there was a Futurama Movie I got to check it out also.

PS: Is this movie out in stores?

Sama Claus - December 19, 2007 08:47 PM (GMT)
Yep! The first Futurama movie, "Bender's Big Score" is out in stores and can be purchased for about $20.

I haven't seen it myself, but I know it's good. I mean... it's Futurama and it's about Bender.

Clown Prince of Crime - December 29, 2007 05:59 AM (GMT)
Heh, watching this "Last Futurama Marathon" every night makes me realize that, despite having seen each episode of the series billions of times, I still never get tired of this show.

Anywho, DP! I heard you recently saw the movie and liked it. SO... since it involves time-travel up the wazoo (and knowing how you feel about time-travel), I'm dying to know what you think about how they handled it and stuff.
