"The Adventures of Ash & Friends" is a re-telling of the classic tale told in so many different ways about a young boy named Ash (in other tellings of the story, sometimes he's called Satoshi, and sometimes he's called Red) and his journey to become a Pokémon Master! This version is more slapstick than most, and my attempt is to try and combine several aspects from the different Pokémon universes, as well as add my own elements. Now, on to the biographies!

Ash
The unlikely (or maybe unwilling) hero of our story. Ash likes competition, but he's also lazy, selfish, and often thick-headed. As he begins his journey, he doesn't even really want to go on it at all... but something that his rival, Gary, says has encouraged him to perservere.

Misty
Leader of the Cerulean City Gym (unbeknownst to Ash), she's an expert with water type Pokémon. She's a bit of a brat, and also likes to pass herself off as older than she really is... which Ash often points out to her in ways that seem to always irritate Misty the most. She is the first to join Ash on his journey.

Brock
Leader of the Pewter City Gym, he's an expert with rock type Pokémon. But even though his Pokémon are all rock hard, his heart is soft when it comes to women. He'll do anything for a pretty face, no matter if even his life is endangered.

Gary
Grandson of Professor Oak, and extremely cocky. He's Ash's rival, and seems to be an extremely skilled trainer. He seems a bit immature sometimes, but other times more mature than even a grown-up, making him hard to figure sometimes. Ash often really pisses him off.

Ashley
Ash's twin sister (she's the older of the two). She may look like Ash, but she's nothing like him. She may have a cute smile, but don't be fooled! She's cunning, calculating, and very manipulating. Though she's not really a bad person, she doesn't seem to have many ethics. She seems to have a crush on Gary, but even Gary isn't safe from Ashley's scheming.

Professor Oak
Creepy old guy who also happens to be the world's top leading Pokémon expert. Everyone in Kanto who turns 10 must see him before going on their Pokémon journey.

Daisy
Gary's older sister is very sweet, kind, and caring. Gary has no parents, so Daisy has been looking after him all these years. It's unknown just what happened to their parents, really. Ash also has a HUGE crush (to the point of obsession) on Daisy.

???
The Leader of an evil terrorist organization known as Team Rocket. He rules with an iron fist, and nobody in Team Rocket dare question him... except for one.

Jesse
A member of Team Rocket, she's bossy, loud-mouthed, and very short-tempered. She works with James, and both might not be the best Team Rocket has to offer, but they're very persistent.

James
A member of Team Rocket, he's a real coward, and often Jesse pushes him around. Though he's cowardly, he's very loyal to his partner Jesse, and puts up with her constant abuse.

Rocket Grunt (Male)
These guys make up most of the Team Rocket organization. They carry out orders from other Rocket members, often overpowering their opponents with their sheer numbers.

Rocket Grunt (Female)
The female variation of the Rocket Grunt, they also make up a large amount of the Team Rocket organization.

Domino
Second in command of Team Rocket, she's often seen standing next to the Leader of Team Rocket, and for some strange reason, she's the only one who can get away with talking back to him, though she is still very loyal.

Well, those are all the profiles available at this time. This artwork doesn't really represent the art that will be seen in the comic... nope. However, I've decided that the pictures for the profiles will represent the colors for the characters. Ya, I know the comic is black&white, but if it wasn't, these would be the colors used, despite whatever you'll probably end up seeing on the cover for the upcoming first issue.
