Well, the title should speak it all. But if you still don;t know what I'm talking about, here's the schmeal.

CPoC's idea made me stumble on the idea that I have long been searching for. You see, I'm starting a fic based on a new team meeting up on Mobius and joining Sonic and his gang as protectors/defenders of the world.

But that gives a small problem: I have no idea what team to make up. See, this is going to start as Nite and Solar, for those of you who RPed in The Search. But that is only 2 people, so I got this idea from CPoC.

And now, based on CPoC's draw a gf for Pexxus... Here comes draw a GF for Nite. Maybe Solar too, but that is optional...

This will put my entire team together, since one of my friends has offered to create another character. So, just 1 or 2 more characters and my team will be done.

So... Draw a gf for Nite, and I'll start my little fic as soon as I plot out the plotline.


The rules:

1. Must be a girl (duh...)
2. Something interesting.
3. No pervertion.
4. Make something completely new and original. Where the challange stands: Anyone up to make something entirely new and original, but keep it within the limits.
5. Keep ole Nite's personality in mind... Don't want to have an empath end up with a duck with Amy's personality. I admit, that would be funny as heck, but not entirely suitable for the purpose.

Heh, that was a very good way to put it, GS... And yes, this little "affair" would add the much-needed flavoring to the fic.

Also, GS, I might advise actually doing drawings by hand. It's a lot easier that way, since computer art can be so... Well... Blocky, least to say. I'd advise you to take the time and actually try something by hand. Trust me: it will come out better than you think. And if it does not, you can always try again!

I would draw by hand, but there's just one problem HA. I have no scanner. That's why I can't post any of my many hand drawn pics, or a pic of myself. So, even though the artwork would be better by hand, I'd have no way of showing it to you, which would defeat the whole purpose, y'know?

But I will take my time on the compu-art, and maybe it'll turn out good. Who knows.

I'd like to enter, but when's the deadline? Because I can't draw on the computer (I can barely draw on paper!) and I can't scan until probably/hopefully next week. Don't wait for me, just tell me when it's due if you can. ^_^

As I said before, I'm not setting a definite deadline yet, but I'm thinking it to be about August 31st. That should give people enough time to come up with some ideas, and it also will be the perfect time for evaluation, being the transition point into the next school year.

I'm glad to hear we have time on the deadline. Between my new job, and the recent computer problems (DAMN YOU SPYWARE!) I've had a hard time getting any work done.

But I haven't forgotten 'boutcha HA, I'll come up with an idea soon.

So far, I'va had horrible luck in actually keeping anything I started here going. You saw what happened to some of my roleplays out there, and even my new one does not attract any attention. I hope that is not the case here, since this is going to help me out in writing a fic of mine. I really hope you guys can help me out here.

If you draw at least something, you are still better than those that brag that they are great artists and then draw a stick figure. From what I've seen, you're in the stage BEYOND stick figures.

Wow... CR, you really got that one under your wing, huh? You realise that respect from Nite is a very rare thing, him being a sarcastic bugger, which will allow conflict, and... Well... I'm seeing possibilities all of a sudden... Interesting...

That's a funny one, CR. I'm gonna consider it.

Now, for the critique.

Number one: how do you expect to fight in that long of jeans? Seriously... Would they not just hinder leg motion instead of actually adding on to her agility? You say she's a hand-to-hand combatant, which means that she should be smart enough to dress properly to be ready at any time. Unless she drops those pants to reveal some type of tights, this is a highly impractical use.

Number 2: You could work on evening the face out a bit. Even though she does look the style, the guys that drew and animated Sonic were actually careful to keep his eyes in line. You should try the same.

Number 3: Unless she's a rarity, her eyes should actually be slitted like that of a cat and either green or bright-yellow in color. Reflective. Think cat. Since yu made her a feline, might as well go to the end. Or, you could make her unique and have a new color for eyes... But the cat-slits have to be there. The reason Nite does not have slitted eyes is because he's a fusion between a cat and a hedgehog. He has reflective hedgehog eyes. :blink:

Number 4: You could work on the arms a bit. It looked like you didn't want to work on them much, and decided to drop the idea before you messed up even further. A cat has nimble paws, and they do not thicken at the ends, but thin out. You made them thicken, like a pair of clubs. Aren't cats more into striking vital points than pure brawn? Unless it's one heckuva cat...

Otherwise, the picture is great. Just like you to draw something like that, CR. I always have and always will appreciate your artwork.


And yes, cojo, you can base characters off of someone else. It;s what I do to create the ultimate of fighters and RP characters.

1. Yeah I was thinking of that too, first I was going to give her some kind of shorts but then I didnt want to make her look too well...I wanted her to wear more clothes than that ^^;. Hey Kim possible wears baggy jeans but still kicks butt ^_^ Hmmm tights while battling sound like a pretty good idea, I'll draw that when I get home from babysitting today.

2. lol again you are so right, but for some reason everytime I made her eyes Sonic-like she looked...odd. I think I'll think of Blaze when I do her eyes, I'll see how that turns out.

3. hehehe I really need to look at a pic of a cat dont I? You can so tell I was not looking at anything. I'll be sure to fix the eye color, probably some yellow green. *runs to find a cat picture*

I have an idea.

Here is a pic of a Khajiit (cat-human) model from Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. You can take a look at the arms and see how to make them cat-like. Of course, modify them to be Sonic-ified (interesting word), but nevertheless the model is very proportional.

The second one has the finger formation if you want to use it. It's only visible on one hand, but I think it will suffice. As for the hands... Those are better seen in the first one, I think.

I think that I had started this a tad too late, and that there was just not enough incentive for it to go on. Heh, I'm not a moderator, so I cannot offer a post boost like CPoC did. I'm really sorry that I can't though. Also, it looks like your artistic flair has been exhausted by CPoC's contest, and I was wrong to begin this one so shortly afterwards.

AND. If you can sprite but cannot draw, you can do that too for the contest. As long as you come up with a good sprite and background, I would take that art. If you can draw on your own, that is great, and you are encouraged to do so. If not, and you can sprite, go ahead and sprite! Or test your luck at hand drawings! If you cannot do either, it is time for you to either try one or ask yourself why you are here anyways. XD

Hey, HA! I've got an entry. I couldn't think of anything to draw, but when you suggested spriting I used it as an excuse to try it and started playing with it, and now I have a person! ^_^

Age: 18
Mad Shkillz: Very smart, a sort of science student of nanotechnology. However, she prefers hand-to-hand combat and is very, very strong, like almost near almost as strong as Mighty is- almost. Her fighting style relys on strength and speed, which is a foil to Nite's physical disparity. She does not, however, have psychic abilities but may use a psychic crown to prevent Nite from hearing her thoughts. (Those are private!! :P )
Personality: Tough and athletic, loves to spar and fight and whatnot. She won't take any crud from anyone, especially not Nite. She is talented in science but has little interest in it beyond practical uses. Oh, and she's spunky. ^_~
