Okay! So I'm finally starting this! Um... Well here goes! :D
By the way guys, we're not doing this the lazy script way. We're doing this the "formal" way.

(Remeber, no God-modding, insta kills or spamming. It's okay if you chat though.)


Setting: Metal City (or where ever your character wants to start out. make it fairly close though). It's the day after Christmas so it's snowing. And the time is about 8 o'clock in the evening.



Sammy was in her home watching t.v. and playing her new Nintendo D.S. she got for Christmas, occasinally changing the channel on her flat-screen t.v. in her living room. Eventunally she flicked the t.v on to the news.
"Reports are pouring in about seeing Dr. Eggman's latest air craft from all over the city," one of the reporters said.
Sammy looked up. She saw the t.v. screen for the news turn to the ominous air craft. Sammy's face twisted into a quizzical look.
"Maybe those rumors were true about Eggman...," Sammy said to herself.
"The craft is heading north-east and has already attracted the attention of the police and ultimatly the military organization G.U.N.," the reporter explained.
"How could it not," Sammy said sarcastically. "Maybe I should look into this... Make sure that old fool isn't gonna try to destroy the planet and threaten us with shooting at the moon again."
Sammy saved her D.S. game and got off the couch, went in her room to pack a few extra things and get her Chao, Bailey. She pulled her boots on. Then, with a flick of her red tail, Sammy bolted out her front door and was on her way to following Dr. Eggman's ship.

Sonia's house is on a hill pretty close to Metal City.....I would say...5 minutes away. That counts right?





Sonia was on her cozy chair, reading a newspaper while sipping hot cocoa. She was wearing her new scarf that Manic gave her, and the robe that Knuckles gave her for Christmas.

She turned the page and sipped her cocoa.....when she saw something on the news section about Robotnik coming back!

She spit out her beverage in amazement! She took a good look at the report, "Robotnik's up to his tricks.....AGAIN?!?! I gotta do something!".

She got her butt off that chair, and got dressed in her winter clothes.

"I gotta find Sonic and Manic!" Sonia yelled to herself. She put her medalian on, and began the search.

Metal City

Rouge barreled through the street, breathing hard, but not slowing down. In her hands was clutched a sparkling sapphire that she had just "obtained" (from Metal City's museum), and she held it tightly as she ran. The police were not a problem for her, she could avoid them in no time, however, a soldier was another matter, especially the one who was chasing her...


...Didymus was sprinting after Rouge, clad in his uniform, and his pistol drawn. He wasn't far behind her, but there were so many people in the crowd that he couldn't get a clear shot at the thief, and that was why, he supposed, that Rouge had chose to run from him rather than take to the skies...make no mistake, he didn't intend to use lethal force on her, for, in fact, in his pistol was loaded a clip full of tranquilizer darts...

...Rouge was trying to think of a plan. She was impressed that Didymus was able to keep track of and keep up with her (but at the same time would have expected no less from him), and she glanced behind herself to check to see how close he was...and didn't notice that she was sprinting right toward Sammy.

yes that counts.


Sammy was walking now. She didn't want people to follow her while she was persuing Eggman. That would've been a bother. Suddenly, Bailey tapped Sammy on the shoulder. Sammy looked at her chao friend and saw her pointing at someone. It was Rouge! Sammy was surprised to see Rouge.
Sammy saw Rouge sprinting towards her and thought of why she was. Then, she spotted it. The emerald clutched in the bat's hand. Sammy slapped herself in the face with her palm
"Oh Rouge," she sighed, "not again..."
Sammy waited up for Rouge, but saw after her why she was running.
"A G.U.N. soldier? Oh man," Sammy exclaimed.
After Rouge was only little distance away from her she began to jog-run while Rouge was still catching up.

Metal City

Rouge's thoughts were focused on escaping Didymus. She paid no mind to Sammy, and sprinted fast, right on a collision course with her!

Sammy looked back right when Rouge stumbled into her. The two laned on the pavement with loud thud. Bailey gave a chao gasp and tugged on her owner's finger to, at least, try to help her. Sammy was still in a daze.

Metal City

Rouge was caught completely off-guard by her collision with Sammy.

"Ahh!" she cried out as they hit and fell.

That was all the time Didymus needed to get to them. He was on them, and as Rouge was getting up, he aimed his pistol and squeezed the trigger...


..."Ah!" Rouge cried out again, as the dart pierced her back. Knowing she was beat, she simply got up, but stumbled, already feeling the tranquilizer's effects. She turned around to give a teasing look to Didymus, and spoke.

"So, you got me...not like it matters...I'll...be...ou...", and Rouge dropped again, the tranquilizer drug taking effect and putting her into a deep sleep.

Didymus glanced at Sammy before looking at Rouge again. Picking up the jewel she had stolen, he spoke into his wrist communicator.

"This is major Didymus." he said. "I have apprehended Rouge and recovered the stolen sapphire. Could I get somebody to come by and pick up the sapphire and the anthropomorphic bat, please?"

A voice replied from his communicator.

"Understood, major." it said."We've got a vehicle en route to your position now. Keep an eye on the bat until we get there."

"Acknowledged." Didymus said.

"HQ out." came from his communicator.

With that, Didymus simply stood there, keeping a guard.

Rouge laid there, on the street, sleeping peacefully (with the dart still in her back).

Sammy finally started to get up. She lifted her head up and saw Rouge face flat on the ground. Then she turned to Bailey who merely stared worriedly at her. Sammy looked up at Didymus and jumped. She hadn't expected him to get to them that fast!
Sammy stood up and brushed herself off. She stared at the G.U.N. soldier for a second and, feeling awkward, picked up Bailey and started to walk off, re-aprehending (sp?) Eggman.

Metal City...around Manic's house.

Sonia was on her motorbike. Yes it was cold, but that didn't bother her.

Meanwhile, Manic was playing video games on his Wii.

"Boo yaa! Take that, Mario!" he yelled as he played Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Sonia finally parked at Manic's garage, got off and knocked at his door.

He heard it. "Awww...I wonder who it is NOW." he said as he paused his game, and stomped to the door.

When he opened the door, Sonia said "Hi", and he let her in.

"Manic! There's something I need to tell you!" she yelled.

"What, sis?" he asked.

"Robotnik is up to no good!"

"Again? My god! What is it this time?"

"I don't know! We gotta go....quick!" she yelled as she grabbed his arm, and attemted to run.

"Whoa whoa, sis! I gotta turn off my Wii first!" he said as he ran toward his Wii, saved his game, and turned it off.

Sonia rolled her eyes, went outside, and got on her motorbike.

"Well? Are you comin'?"

"Yeah! Wait for me!"

Manic got on Sonia's motorbike, and they drove off.

Seeing that Didymus wasn't going to stop her or anything, Sammy began to sprint again. She looked at her cell phone she took out of her jacket. 8:30 was the time the clock on her phone showed. Sammy and bailey passed by an electronics store and decided to stop to watch the news on the t.v's in the front window.
"Unfortunately, Dr. Eggman has been lost. Though some reports are coming in that Eggman is flying straight north," One of the reporters noted.
Sammy sighed and thought, 'How could they lose a ship the size of a city!?'
Bailey tugged on her jecket sleeve. Sammy turned to her.
"You're right, we should get going if we want to make it out of the city by dark," Sammy said.
The two continued to sprint through the citychecking news reports every-so-often.

-Station Square-

Sonic the Hedgehog was sitting in a café, sipping some hot chocolate, enjoying the warmth.

“News flash! Eggman’s ship has been spotted over Metal City. Authorities are investigating as we speak,” the TV spoke out. There was then muttering in the café.

“Heh, I was wondering when that ol’ lard butt was going to show up! Looks like it’s adventure time!” Sonic grinned, finishing his cocoa.

A flash of blue, and Sonic was running.

-Metal City-

A sonic boom sounded outside the city limits, and a flash of blue was racing upwards stopping once he was at the top, shivering slightly in the cold.

“Ma-maybe I sho-should have go-gotten a sca-scarf…” Sonic shivered, breathing into his hands. Glancing around, he was unable to see anything in the sky with the clouds in the way.

Curling into a ball, Sonic shot downwards, jumping from building to building unto he landed on the street, jogging in place in order to keep warm.

It was then he noticed Rouge in the street, with Didymus watching over her.

“Huh…” Sonic thought, rubbing his chin, “What’s G.U.N. doing with Rouge…?”

It’s not like Sonic had any good experiences with G.U.N., but he knew very well that Rouge could be up to know good…But didn’t she work for them?

“Hey!” Sonic shouted, appearing in front of Didymus, “What did Rouge do, and what’s the latest on Eggman?”

X4Z2 had been walking the streets alone as he saw through a store with a TV talking about egg man and his ship, looking at the news report he thought he could be able to take him down.

He leaned forward ready to find egg man but just as he walked out he saw a hedgehog and a G.U.N. solder.

"Computing..." He said while using his data to look online and figure out who they are, ".......No. 1: Sonic the hedgehog Type: Speed Dislikes: Water................No. 2: ??? Type: ??? Dislikes: ???..............."

Going back to his normal state of mind he was confused until he saw a something that sparkled, until he knew what it was he needed to go closer.

He walked up to them and tried to act like he was unaware of what was going on, "Hey, what are you guys doing?" He knew that act would fool no one but he just needed enough info to satisfy his lust for rare diamonds.

-Metal City-

“Hmmm?” Sonic wondered, scratching his nose, then turned to the odd robot.

“What the…?” he then said, “Another copy from Eggman?”

Sonic instinctively slid into a fighting position.

But…X4Z2 didn’t feel bad…Not like any of the other copies and such Sonic had fought before. Something…different…

“…Who are you?” he wondered, but didn’t move from his position, just in case.

"I am just a useless peace of scrap" he said trying not to bring too much attention to him.

X4Z2's search on sonic's information also led to him being known to foil Dr. egg man and he could use him to get to Dr. egg man.

"I am looking for Dr. egg man, do you know where he is?" X4Z2's speaking function was far from the best seeing as how he would just be blunt about what he was trying to get.

Metal City

"Well, this is a nice contrast, especially after I just beat him....just relaxing, hanging out, it's snowing, an- well, what happened here?" Sam looked down from a building, noticing a blue hedgehog, a robot, and a solider. "....Might as well head on over there..." He leaped off the building, and landed behind the solider. "Sorry to drop in, but what's going on?" Sam said with a eyebrow raised.

Sammy knew it was starting to get dark even though she couldn't see the sun through the thick grey clouds and the snow. Well, maybe that's because she checked her phone almost every 30 minutes.

Over the Christmas break, a new upgrade for air boards had been released to a few people willing to test it. Sammy was one of those lucky people. The upgrade allowed your airboard to shrink to about the size of a Game Cube memory card and, at the sound of the owner's voice, was able to resize back to normal.

Sammy took out her "fun-sized" air board and hoped the upgrade worked (it was her first time using it since the upgrade). She wasn't sure what to say, so she said "grow", and tossed it out in front of her. She and Bailey saw it land and it started to waver back and forth. Suddenly it grew to regular size and was hovering just above the snow. Sammy smiled at Bailey and hopped on the board. Bailey flew on top of Sammy's head.

"This'll make traveling much easier," Sammy exclaimed.

Bailey giggled. "Chao chao chao~!" she yelled as she pointed a little claw towards where Eggman was.

Sammy stepped on the gas and they were off!

umm... hello? is anyone gonna reply back? seriously guys. just reply.

(I may be holding this up, I suppose I could post something before going back to playing Mass Effect/waiting for GS to come back :LOL:)...

Metal City

Sonic, a robot, and another anthropomorphic hedgehog were gathered around Didymus (and the sleeping Rouge) now, but Didymus spoke mainly to address Sonic's questions.

"Well, Rouge here tried to thieve something. As for the latest on Eggman, I'm not certain." he said.

Just then, a police car and a humvee pulled up, and another soldier in the humvee spoke.

"Major, give that jewel to the police, and get Rouge in here. Both of you are wanted back at base."

"All right." Didymus replied. He handed the sapphire Rouge stole to a Metal City police officer that had arrived, then stooped down, picked up Rouge, and stood up, laying her in the back seat of the humvee before getting into it himself, and giving a wave to Sonic, Sam, and X4Z2.

The cop car drove toward the Metal City Museum, while the humvee drove toward the local G.U.N. base.

"....Wonder what happened here....." Sam said, closing his eyes. "...Might as well find out!" Sam said, rushing toward the car, taking out his Gear, and riding it in pursuit.

X4Z2 thought everything was going all at once and before he could wait for sonic to answer he ran off to find out why the cops are involved in this.

X4Z2 only got enough information to give a mini tracking ability that can only be used for so long.

(Ive got to get that sapphire back)

X4Z2 ran after the cop car with hopes of finding it.

After a while of riding Sammy had started to get tired and tried her best not to fall alseep. While she was nodding off and not paying attention, Sammy was in a straight collision course with a tree! Bailey tugged at her.

"Chao chao chao!!" she cried.

Sammy woke up and realized what was going on.

"Holy carp!" Sammy exclaimed.

Just in time, Sammy was able to dodge the tree.

"See how good I am Bailey? I'm rusty, but I'm still awesome," Sammy smiled at Bailey triumphantly.

Bailey scowled at her and looked ahead, her eyes widened. Sammy also turned her head forward. There, in the middle of a clearing, was Dr. Eggman's new ship and an old base. Sammy stopped the air board and thought for a second and tried to think of a way to get into the base or onto Eggman's ship without being caught.

"I've got it!" Sammy exclaimed excitedly.

Sammy whispered to Bailey what she was planning on doing.

"And we have to do it tonight or he might take off without us."

Bailey nodded and gave Sammy a thumbs up.

-Metal City-

“Huh…” Sonic said, scratching his head as everyone suddenly made their leave, “And I thought I was in a hurry!”

Watching the robot, X4Z2, go after the police car, Sonic grinned, pulling something out from behind him, it’s blue surface glowing in the soft light.

Gripping it, he focused on this Chaos Emerald, concentrating.

“Chaos…Control!”

In a flash of green light, Sonic appeared on the roof of a tall building, using the Emerald’s power to keep himself warm.

“Alright now…if I was Eggman, where would I hide…? Above…?” He glanced towards the cloud hidden sky, “Or below?”

He looked over the city and it’s surroundings, then held up his Chaos Emerald, still focusing.

“Come on Eggman, show yourself so we can get this party started!

Sammy and Bailey quiely ran up to one of the doors on the side of Eggman's ship. They spotted a kaypad next to the door.

"Crap. Since when does Eggman put a password on his ship!?" Sammy groaned.

She thought for a second, so did Bailey.

"Do you think that he might use..." Sammy questioned.

Sammy typed in Eggman's IQ number on the kaypad (300).

It worked! The kaypad beeped and the door slid open.

"Perfect!" She gave a thumbs up to Bailey.

The two crept onto the ship, looking out for robot henchmen and what not so they wouldn't get captured. Finally, they got to the cargo hold. They weren't exctly sure why Eggman would need a cargo bay, but they didn't question it and just hid behind a few boxes.

Sorry for not posting much. Had a VERY busy week -_-.

Metal City

Sonia and Manic just kept on going. They looked what felt like everywhere to find Sonic.

"Where could he be?" Sonia asked.

Manic looked up...."Up there!" he yelled.

Sonia stopped the motorcycle, and looked up as well.

She smiled, and yelled, "Hey, Sonic! Down here!"

-Metal City-

Sonic paused, looking downwards from the top of the tall building, squinting.

“Hey! Sonia and Manic!” Sonic grinned, then curled into a ball, shooting downwards, and hopping from building to building until he landed by the two.

“What brings you two here?” Sonic wondered, still holding tightly to his Chaos Emerald.

-Metal City: Museum-

“Humph…That stupid bat tried to take a sapphire…” a green hedgehog in a black leather jacket chuckled, standing on a building across from the museum, “I guess she didn’t hear they recently acquired a Chaos Emerald…Not even on display yet…”

Scourge the Hedgehog jumped down into the snowy streets, “And that Chaos Emerald is gonna be mine…”

X4Z2 finally got there but he knew he was not alone cause his scanners picked up a life form nearby.

"Who's there?"

X4Z2 saw a hedgehog standing in the shadow nearby.

"Who are you?"

X4Z2 scanned for information but the hedgehog was too far away for him to scan.

Sammy and Bailey waited for the ship to take off and waited for Sonic to actually find the ship. After a while, Sammy sighed.

"Um, are you getting the feeling that Sonic isn't gonna find this hunk a' junk until it reaches the sky?" Sammy asked Bailey.

Bailey nodded in agreement.

A little while later something caught Bailey's eye. She looked up to the wall. There was a little map of the ship. Bailey made a little chao squee and pointed to it, trying to get Sammy to notice it.

"Gah, what Bailey?" Sammy groaned. "I'm tired and...," she looked up, "and you're a genius!" She exclaimed.

Sammy got up and took the mini-poster off the wall. She examined it for a while.

"Bailey, I think we can spare some time for Sonic to find us!" Sammy grinned at Bailey.

Metal City-local G.U.N. base

Rouge was awake, but was not too happy. She was caught, doing what she claimed to "do best". She was in a chair, facing a surly G.U.N. officer who was offering her the usual choice of temporary free service or imprisonment. She grunted, and spoke up.

"So, let me get this straight...I spy on Eggman, get some info on what he's up to, and I'm off the hook? Do I get to keep that jewel I stole?" she asked.

The officer talking to her shook his head.

"No." he said. "It's real simple: you work for us, you don't face criminal charges for your theft. You don't, and, a trial later, you're getting locked up. So, what's it gonna be?"

Rouge didn't have to think about it, actually. She hated being at a disadvantage, but nonetheless, she spoke up:

"Fine." she said. "You know where the doctor is?"

Meanwhile, Didymus was being briefed on the situation.

"So, sir," he said, speaking to a senior officer, "We actually know where Robotnik is right now?"

"Yes, but we don't know exactly what he has in mind. As you know, we've got a considerable presence in Metal City right now, and we're preparing to hit Robotnik's forest base, but I don't want to make any moves before we know what he's got. A WMD? A new type of robot? We'll be sending in Rouge to find out, provided she agrees to work with us, which I'm confident she will. As for you, just be ready for deployment or combat command. Dismissed, major."

"Yes sir." Didymus said, with a salute. "Thank you, sir."


Forest/Egg Carrier

A while later, a Rouge was hanging (bat style) from a tree, clad in her black "ninja suit", complete with a mask that covered her face (ears included), but with an opening for her eyes, and her trademark pink heart on its chest. She eyed Eggman's base.

"Right where they said it'd be..." she said.

With that, she flapped her wings, and, although hovering close to the ground, made her way toward the Egg Carrier.

Eventually, she latched onto it, and, finding an air duct, began crawling through it, eventually exiting it in...

...the Egg Carrier's cargo hold.

Sammy's ears perked up.

"Hay Bailey," she started, "do you hear... scratching?"

Bailey listened too. Then nodded.

Sammy crept over to where the noise was coming and waited for whomever it was (rouge) to come out, a small metal pipe she found at the ready.

Egg Carrier

Rouge may have been caught unawares by Sammy, but...

1. she is usually pretty cautious,

2. she's an anthropomorphic bat. She has good hearing.

That being the case, she considered her options. Not knowing who or what was there, just that it was somebody with a female-sounding voice and someone called "Bailey", she decided to simply wait, quietly, in hopes that whoever or whatever had heard her would leave.

But Rouge readied herself to fight, just in case. Or to fly away, if she had to.

Sammy listened intently to the scratching coming from the air duct. She gripped the pipe tighly, and was prepared to swing it like a baseball bat. The scratching came closer and closer to the end of the duct and the closer it came the more ready Sammy became.

Egg Carrier

Rouge continued to wait, quietly. She wanted to maintain her stealth.

Sammy figured that whatever it was making the noise went away, so she went back over to Bailey. She still wanted to make sure so she took the pipe with her and told Bailey not to say anything.

Egg Carrier

Rouge was tired of waiting. (I may say she was already outside of the air duct she crawled through, myself, but anyway, either way...), she spread her wings and, with a swish of them, she was in the air, and she flew over some crates and such to see...

...a red-furred anthropomorphic fox, along with a chao.

Without saying a word, Rouge would turn and try to fly out of the Egg Carrier's cargo hold, but Sammy and Bailey, how would they react to potentially seeing her?

Sammy sat quietly pondering what the noise from the airduct was. And was apparently completely oblivious to Rouge flying direct above her and Bailey.

'A rat maybe?'she thought, 'Nah, this place isn't that old...maybe it was a bird...'

As Sammy thought, Bailey was fast asleep in her lap.

Egg Carrier

Rouge hovered over Sammy, thinking about what she'd do. If Sammy was, in fact, onle of Eggman's agents, revealing herself would be a bad idea...but Eggman rarely had any non-robotic "employees", and Sammy didn't look robotic. If she was a hostage, Rouge guessed that G.U.N. would be pleased if she rescued her...but she decided not to risk it. She had a job to do, and thus, flapping her wings, she flew toward the exit of the Egg Carrier's cargo hold, intending to find a computer terminal she could hack into.

Sammy's ears perked.

'Did I just hear wings?' she thought.

Sammy looked up, but only saw the high ceiling of the ship.

'Must've just been hearing things.' she thought again.

Sammy leaned her head back on a box behind her and closed her eyes, thinking of what Eggman's next move is going to be.

Metal City

Sonia jumped off her vehicle.

"I read on the newspaper that Robotnik is up to his old tricks again!" she said.

"I guess she wanted to get us together....I was busy on my Wii though." Manic complaned.

Sonia sighed. "Can it, Manic. We got business to take care of."

"Yeah, whatever. Where is Robuttnik anyway?" he asked.

Sammy decided she was tired of sitting and waiting so she picked up Bailey, took off her back pack and set her down on it. She walked around to cargo area exploring and looking through boxes, not finding anything really interesting. She practiced a few karate moves here and there, but was still bored.
