1. The Serious Discussions Forum
This here is pretty much a small forum for discussion serious stuff you don't want available to the whole wide internet: breakup troubles, family troubles, fire troubles, etc. Maybe you just had a miscarriage and decide to talk to friends about it instead of plaguing the internet with your terrible unconscientable webcomic.
Maybe something's pissing you off? Maybe something really good happened that you want to share? Whatever.

This is not going to be emo-rio party 8. There's a difference between emo (bad) and venting (good) or asking for advice (good).

Anyway this will be entered using a password which we'll PM out. I'll probably PM it to the top 15 post-ers, but if any one of the newer members wants in, just ask. It's okay with me if it's okay with the other mods; after the top 15, though, I won't assume you want in.


2. The Private Discussions Forum
Have you ever seen Monk? Seen that episode where the streets fill with garbage and Monk can't think so Stottlemeyer takes him to an all-white super-sanitary room? That's what this place is. Sanitary, peaceful, happy. Okay? It's like a party in your mouth and everybody's zen. That's this forum.

If you have a problem with somebody, now there's another recourse to just talking to mods. If two or three people are having a disagreement, we'll give them the password to this forum and they can talk it out. Okay?

Well, I won't be sending out any password until I see that CPoC, C_R, GS, Kimi, etc. have seen this without objection. Also I'd like some response? Anybody out there think these forums are good to have?

Hmmm...both of these (particularly the serious discussion zone) are okay ideas, perhaps, but obviously, the mods'll keep an eye on them, right?

But yeah, it could be nice.

And regarding your concern, Vidit, I'm sure it'll be the responsibility of the mods to make sure the purpose of the new forums would be sustained and rules would be enforced, just like everywhere else. So no worries.

Okay, 3/whatever and Spoony's "sounds good to me" (if I recall) is enough for me, so I PMed about 6 or 7 people. About 6 or 7 others also received a PM, but they'll note that there was no "--BR" at the end, which I never forget, so it wasn't me. But it's still the correct password so don't worry.

Yep, modly oversight, especially in the PDF. And I don't know if religious/political discussions could be allowed in the SDF... it depends on maturity levels and other modly opinions, but no matter what happens we'll keep it calm.

This sounds good but what about the forbidden zone isn't that just like what you are talking about...I guess not but I think it is a great idea so that we won't have flame wars.

The Forbidden Zone is just where the old and run down topics are dumped. There's no reason to go there unless you're a mod who needs to, which hardly ever happens as far as I know.

Good to hear. Like I said, that section probably saved me from making this place into a warzone that night.

Although, I'm still very much for password changing, to keep people who weren't supposed to be in there out, until they get the rights, y'know?

Like we said in the Pasword Topic, this would be great, but changing the password would mean re-sending it to everyone and everyone having to type it in again and blah blah blah. That's a lot of work we're not willing to do XD
