Title: Reach for the Stars
Description: But don't forget your towel.
The Vidit of Light - September 11, 2008 05:37 AM (GMT)
(Okay, maybe not the most original title, but now, B&I's sequel begins!)
Galactic Forum, Presidium, United Terran Republic embassy, military garrison commander’s office (Didymus’s office)
Didymus’s office was what you may expect from a military officer’s office. Bookshelves, containing all sorts of books, from the Bible to the Communist Manifesto, from Holo-gaming Monthly Magizine to books on real warfare, and plenty of vid disks and such. On either side of his desk was a flag, one of which was obviously the U.T.R.’s, and on the walls hung several works of art, some of which depicting Biblical events, others depicting events of wartime heroics from Earth’s history and even in the more recent wars that even Didymus himself had fought in.
His office also had a window overlooking the Persidum’s Terran Gardens, and allowing him to see them, who was there, and the roof of the Presidium itself, through which a vast expanse of stars were visible, as was the occasional ship passing by. His own flagship since the start of the war against the mobains and black arms, the massive Paladin-class T.R.S. Crusader, was docked at the Forum, but rarely flew by where he could see it from his office. He had arrived at his post as commander of the U.T.R. military garrison on the Galactic Forum two days ago, fresh from a post in Station Square (the human military garrison city on Mobius), and his dress uniform had several more medals and ribbons on it than were there during the Fornax Rebellion. His rank, however, was (technically, at least) the same. Still, he was given responsibilities usually reserved for men decades older than he, and he was grateful that he had been blessed in his endeavors.
Outside, in the military “embassy”, a subdivision of the U.T.R.’s embassy, Rachel worked happily at a desk, going through letters and such. She was still Didymus’s batwoman, but, unlike during the Fornax Rebellion, her uniform now sported a single medal, one that could only be presented for action while under fire…her rank and attitude toward military life remained the same, but she had proven herself in combat now, and she thought better of herself for it. So, amidst the recruitment posters, historical articles, etc., she continued to work on a report.
Suddenly a sound beeped in Didymus’s office, and a hologram appeared.
Didymus, seeing who it was, stood up from his desk and saluted.
”General Braxton, sir!” he said.
”At ease.” The general replied. “Listen, you may have heard, but Sally Acorn is going to be coming arriving on the Forum from Mobius today. Now, obviously, the politicians will have their part, but the most important part of this meeting, remember, is YOUR appearance. We want people to see that we’re making up, and Acorn shaking hands with the man, or boy, should I say,” he said with a slight grin “who was at the forefront of the campaign against Mobius is exactly the kind of image of friendship and making up we want to send. I don’t think I need to remind you, but the point’s worth hammering in-be on your best behavior. And do what you can to ensure NOTHING goes wrong. If something does, unlikely as it is…guard the squirrel with your life.”
“Yes sir.” Didymus replied, despite how silly the words “guard the squirrel with your life” sounded. That, and the fact that his last dinner with Mobius’s “upper crust” was not too pleasant for him, put him at ease, but he did not complain about the orders concerning his dinner arrangements for that evening.
Braxton nodded, and simply said, “Braxton out.”
Braxton’s hologram disappeared.
Presidium-Earth/Terran Gardens
A cheerful voice cried out.
“Oh! What lovely flora! Their odor is most pleasing! What beautiful plants grow upon the human homeworld! And how very diverse they are! So many climates on a single planet!”
Floating about the gardens below Didymus’s office was a certain cheerful tameranian girl, smiling at all the various plants surrounding her. Having never been to Earth (in this RP’s “universe/timeline/whatever it may be called”), Starfire was thoroughly enjoying herself, sniffing flowers, feeling leaves, and talking with whoever may happen to be passing by her.

(Some info on the Galactic Forum:
The Galactic Forum is a massive station constructed jointly by many races in the known galaxy.
It contains the "Presidium", a relatively small section of the station that treats visitors and residents to well-kept gardens, fountains, etc., while also housing the various rooms that serve as the embassies for the various species on the Galactic Forum. In addition, it contains the Assembly Hall, where the all of various ambassadors on the Forum meet to discuss matters of galaxy-spanning importance. Each embassy also features cultural and historical sections for the purposes of educating visitors of other races on the culture, history, government, etc., of the race whose embassy it is in. A tour guide VI (virtual intelligence, a non-sentient program designed for user interaction) can be accessed throughout the persidium. The persidum is well-lit, but a glance at its ceiling will remind the viewer that it is still just on a space station.
The majority of the Galactic Forum is known as the "Wards". It contains all sorts of things: living quarters, corporate offices, markets where both corporate and individual salesmen come to offer their wares, barracks and dock facilities/hangars for the various military garrisons on the Forum, hotels, resturants, casinos, etc. It's a busy place, and a visit to it almost guarantees an encounter with multiple species besides one's own.
People can roam the Forum, in either the embassies, wards, Flux club (food, dancing, music, even a little gambling, but not a sleezy place), etc.)
(Let the RPing here begin!:D)

-Presidium/Earth Gardens-
<I don't see why I can't meet this human with you...> a young...voice...said, as two Andalites walked along the grass.
<You are still young brother> the older of the two said with a mouthless Andalite smile.
<So is this human!> Aximili exclaimed.
Elfangor just shook his head, <Just wait out here.>
Aximili grumbled and walked over to the grass, tasting it with his hooves. At least it was pretty good. Not the best he ever had, but good.
War-Prince Elfangor made his way to the military embassy, showing his credentials, then proceeded towards a certain young officer's audience...
He was looking forward to meeting Didymus before actual talks were started. Both of them were military heroes in their respective wars, and Elfangor himself started off when he was young.
Aximili gave no attention to Tamarian flying around, though he did notice her.
-Food Court-
"The problem," an elderly Asian man said, picking at a salad with his fork, "turned out to be that I needed to go left, and not right, as it looked like I should."
A small gray alien, a Galvan, stood across from him on the table, raising an eyebrow.
"And the point of this game is to collect small dots, and continue into more difficult challenges?"
"Correct," Old Man Sensei nodded, taking a bite of his salad.
-Storage Facility-
In the storage facility of the Presidium was a large blue police box, tucked in the back...
-Mobius: ???-
A blue figure figured frowned to himself, wrapped in a dirty brown cloak.
"Sorry Sal..." the figure sighed, "Wish things could have turned out differently..."
-Somewhere in Space-
"That lousy U.T.R.!" Eggman roared, pounding his fist on a control panel with a growl, "I've been trying to take over Mobius for years now, and they go in and do it themselves!"
Of course, the U.T.R. had not taken over Mobius...Just fought them, for the most part. But that didn't matter to Eggman right now.
"At this rate, there's going to be no planets left for me to start my Eggman Empire!" Eggman said to himself, rubbing his chin, "Maybe I should think about terraforming..."
The Vidit of Light - September 12, 2008 06:18 AM (GMT)
Forum-U.T.R. military embassy
Rachel was a bit surprised. The andalite war prince? Here? Asking to see Didymus? Talking to her?
Being on the Forum may be more exciting than she thought.
Inside Didymus's office, from a communicator/intercom thing, Rachel's voice sounded out.
"Sir? I have the andalite war prince here...he wants to see you."
Me? Didymus thought. Wow...
"Alright, send him in." he said.
The door to his office opened, and Didymus stood to greet his visitor.
"Welcome to the United Terran Republic military embassy, Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul." he said smiling cordially.
"Is there something I can do for you?" he asked.
Presidium-Earth Gardens
"Sir. Sir!" A human guard said, approaching Aximili. "Please refrain from eating the grass." he said, familiar with andalite dietary practices. "I believe Earth grass is available in the Presidium Cafeteria. "
Starfire, meanwhile, was laying down on said grass.
"Oh, how soft a lush!" she said out loud.
"Would you not agree, human and andalite?" she asked, regarding Aximili and the guard.
"Uhh...yeah, it's pretty nice." the guard said.
Mobius and Acorn Service (M.A.S.) Acorn Tree (Sally's personal liner)
In her quarters, Sally, clad in a elegant blue gown, heels, and even eyeliner, it was a far cry from her simple blue vest and boots. But that was another time. A time when she was an underground resistance member. A time when their entire race was threatened with robotization (or however you spell that).
A time when she and Sonic were...she couldn't think like that. She needed to be a princess, a queen, she told herself, now, not some heartbroken teenager.
Even if...no. She pushed those thoughts out of her mind.
But not before a whispered "I'm trying to fix it, Sonic. I'm sorry, and I'm trying to undo it..." came out of her.
A voice called her over her ship's intercom.
"Princess? We will be arriving at the Forum shortly."
She inhaled deeply, and stepped out of her quarters, to make her way to the Acorn's Tree's bridge.
Galactic Forum-Wards-Flux
On the dance floor, a tameranian girl was weaving and dancing, laughing, but not saying anything. She had a twinkle in her eye, though, one that may not be constrained as a positive thing...
AGodofIrony - September 12, 2008 06:38 AM (GMT)
-Forum: U.T.R. Embassy-
<Call me Elfangor. It's easier when you can't use thought-speak> the War Prince said to Didymus. <And I thought it might be a good idea to talk a bit before the actual forum. I've heard a lot about your species.>
He peered into Didymus' office, and faltered, <Would it be okay to talk outside? We Andalites aren't all to fond of enclosed spaces like these rooms.>
-Forum: Earth Gardens-
Aximili stared at the man with his main eyes, as his stalk eyes continued to keep track of everything else around him.
<The grass you offer at the cafeteria is an insult> Aximili said, somewhat haughtily <Good grass can only be eaten from the ground. Serving it like you humans do ruins it...Besides...>
He moved to the side, and showed that the grass was still green <I am not absorbing enough nutrients from this grass to kill it. What would the point in that be?>
-Council of Thirteen: Location Unknown-
"It still seems like a bad move to send him...After all, the Andalites might try something."
"No, they won't. That Elfangor has been put in charge of the diplomacy, at least for the forum. Visser Three and he may be old nemesises, but if the Andalites try something, then they show themselves as the aggressor...Not a good light for the other species to see them in."
"But still, the U.T.R. seems to favor the Andalites. We can not fight them both, not as we are now. And our knowledge of humans is still fairly limited. Visser One has warned us that-"
"Enough! The decision has already been made. Visser Three will be representing us at the Forum...If he does a good job, we will consider him for a promotion...If not, well, you all know..."
Their were hurried nods all around from the group of aliens...
-The Forum-
Appearing from Z-Space, it's codes and all that checked through, appeared a twisted black ship...Visser Three's Blade Ship.
But instead of doing battle, it moved to the forum to disembark a few passengers...
It seems that the Yeerks had decided to come after all...
The Vidit of Light - September 14, 2008 03:34 AM (GMT)
U.T.R. Embassy
"Very well...Elfangor." Didymus said. "As for talking "outside", as long as you don't mean stepping out of the station, or some such as that, then certainly. Shall we walk in the gardens?" he asked.
Presidium: Earth Gardens
The guard sighed. This wasn't the first time an andalite had given him attitude had given him attitude.
"Look, sir, it's policy." he said. "There are other places here that you can have Earth grass, I think there's a cafe for andalites in the wards that raises Earth grass for your consuption, but here, please, refrain from eating the grass."
Starfire had lost interest in the grass now, and was examining a palm tree growing in the Earth garden's "tropic" zone.
M.A.S. Acorn's Tree
Sally had made her way to the bridge of the Acorn's Tree. Its pilot, a walrus mobian, briefly glanced away from his view to greet her.
"Oh, hey Sal-I mean, princess Acorn. Sorry. I'm just not used to formalities."
Sally smiled at him. "Don't worry, Rotor. I may have all the trappings of my title now, but your still my friend."
"Thanks, princess Acorn-er-Sally-er-uh...-"
Sally laughed a bit, and Rotor spoke into a comm channel.
"Forum control, this is M.A.S. Acorn's Tree, requesting docking clearance."
"M.A.S. Acorn's Tree, your ID checks out. Clearance granted. Welcome to the Forum. Transferring you to a mobian operator now."
The Acorn's Tree approached the Forum's mobian area, and its escort ships began to break off.
AGodofIrony - September 14, 2008 04:48 AM (GMT)
(Most Andalites are arrogant. Elfangor is a rare one who's not.)
-U.T.R. Embassy-
<Just out of the room> Elfangor said, <Tight spaces and Andalites don't mix well. And the gardens sounds like a good spot.>
He gave that mouthless Andalite and backed up to wait for Vidit.
<I've heard much about you. A young human who's helped fight a number of battles and quickly rose in the ranks. I had a similar experience in my early career.>
-U.T.R. Embassy Gardens-
Ax was about to protest again, when one of his stalk eyes caught site of something through the top of the station, which showed the stars.
<The Yeerks are here!> he shouted in thought-speak <This is not good...>
He knew, Elfangor had told him, that the Yeerks had been invited as well, but it wasn't sure whether they would come or not...
Of course, they had decided too...
-Forum: Disembarking Bay (Yeerks)-
A hooved foot stepped forward, and several Hork Bajir accompanied it.
Visser Three took note of the area, stalk eyes swiveling. He was under orders not to kill anyone, which greatly annoyed him. But with several U.T.R. ships, and an Andalite Dome Ship in dock, and probably ready in case they tried anything, he would have to repress his urges.
"Errr...welcome, Yeerk Ambassadors," a nervous looking man said, stepping forward. Visser Three let off the aura of someone you did not want to piss off.
<Show us to our quarters, human> Visser Three spat, as though the word 'human' was a curse <We wish to prepare for the forum!>
"Of course," the man said, and began to bring Visser Three and his Hork Bajir entourage to their quarters...
Off in a corner, watching them with mild interest but not attracting attention was a brown haired man in a brown coat.
"Interesting," he said, "So the Yeerks decided to come...Maybe they're not what I should be worried about then..."
He glanced downwards, as if in thought, "Hope Ben is having better luck..."

Forum-U.T.R. military embassy
"About me? I'm honored." he said. "Rachel, you know how to call me if something comes up."
"Yes, sir." Rachel replied, smiling sweetly at both Didymus and Elfangor.
Walking along, (with Elfangor, I take it), he spoke up: "And I've heard much about you. The sturdy andalite general who's been at the tip of the spear against the yeerks for years, decades even. To be honest, I'll admit, it's an honor to have caught your eye. I mean, I've only served, well, about two years. Anyway, so...again, an honor."
He paused.
"So, what do you wish to discuss? Anything in particular?" he asked.
They soon arrived at the gardens.
Forum-Mobian embassy
Sally stepped into her quarters, and looked herself over. Some human politicians had been at the docking bay to meet her, but the main pic op was to come later...at a formal dinner. It was a little bit away, but she was ready to go now.
Having time to spend, she sat down and began to read over some news headlines...the crog blockade of Nourasia.
Wow... she thought, reading about it. At least the humans were civil in warfare... she had admitted it already, and was going to tonight ...the crog are...are...
She was glad that it wasn't the crog who had invaded Mobius.
Forum disembarking bay (yeerks)
Blackfire eyed the newly-arrived visser.
She grinned, and followed after his entourage.

-Forum: U.T.R. Gardens-
<I read up on a number of humans> Elfangor told Didymus, <Along with some recent history...>
He paused, then was silent for a few seconds, before continuing, <I found it interesting that you actually stood up for that other human, Peterson, even though you two were on different ends of the spectrum. That would never have happened with the Andalites...We are a very proud race.>
His stalk eyes looked towards the ceiling, looking at the stars.
<In particular, I would like to discuss the Yeerks. I have been fighting them for years, but our war started before my time...It is something our people must accomplish...To atone for our sins> Elfangor said, then looked towards Didymus.
<Tell me, what the humans general think of our war and the two sides, of us and the Yeerks. Please, be honest. I simply wish to know general consensus.>
-Forum: Yeerk Disembarkment-
"Hey, you!" a Hork Bajir said in a gruff voice, turning to Blackfire, after a word from Visser Three.
It's clawed hand reached for the Dracon Beam (like a laser, basically), holstered to it's side, glaring at the Tamarian. It didn't draw it though, but of course, with all it's blades, it's muscles, and size, it was intimidating as it was, "What do you want?"
-Forum: Common Room-
"In recent news," a television said, "The self exiled Peterson has apparently run into trouble with the local law of the outskirts planet he is on. It seems this forum military genius was caught trying to break into an office building."
Ben Tenneson sighed to himself, looking around at everyone who was there. Maybe he needed to scout someplace else, or find The Doctor...

(Finally I get some time to post! horrah!)
Housing Complex 309-Earth
Two teenagers sat on a carpeted floor, books and scattered around them in a messy fashion along with pencils and a few pieces of blank lined paper. A young man was sitting on the left, going through one of the books, while a much younger girl was sitting next to him, focusing on writing something on one of the sheets of paper. Both figures looked extremely alike, their raven hair and blue eye signaling that they were in fact related. The brother and sister, Jason and Melanie, were studying for entrance exams.
"Do you understand Mel? Just divide the 16 and square it." Jason explained, shifting his spot in the carpet. Melanie frowned and wrote out his directions in a quick scribble.
"I guess" she said quietly, still busy writing. Jason raised an eyebrow and looked over her shoulder to see what she was writing.
"Are you even paying attention kiddo?"
"I am! It's just hard okay?" She stated with a tired groan.
Jason sighed and stood up, going to the window of their new home. They had only lived here for two days and tomorrow they would be entering their third high school in the last year. In every school previous Melanie scored high enough on her exams to be moved to high school with her brother (since usually 13 year olds would attend nearby middle schools) so it was extremely important that she scored high enough to be skipped ahead. It was not only Melanie who was obsessed with it, Kanna demanded that the two siblings stay as close as possible at all times. Jason frowned and wondered where their mother had gone. She always had a way of disappearing.
(Gah! Will write more asap!)
The Vidit of Light - September 14, 2008 10:00 PM (GMT)
Forum Presidium-Earth GardensDidymus took a deep breath. His position was both a military and a diplomatic one, and as such, he wasn't supposed to say anything that could ruin relations with anyone. That didn't mean he had to be quiet, however.
"Well," he said. "my position is a diplomatic one as well as a military one." he said outloud. "However, I can remind you of public knowledge. Most of the human race is...unfavorable toward the yeerks."
He didn't go into detail, or even state his own personal opinion on the andalite-yeerk war, but left it at that.
"As for standing up for Peterson...well, I would have had him tried as a traitor myself up until he ordered the dark matter solidifier to destroy itself. That weapon was basically the rebellion's last shot at winning their insurrection, and instead of using it to drive us into retreat and continuing the war, Peterson had it destroyed. In effect, he himself played a major role in destroying the rebellion, and as such, I thought, and EarthCom (Earth Command, the U.T.R. military's central and/or "high" command) and president Riley (more on him later, you can probably guess his position, though) agreed, that he should be granted at least some amnesty for that. But thank you."
"And the yeerks? Your sins? Hmmm...you've got my curiosity, but I won't ask you to say anything more than you will."
Starfire had noticed them, however, and was watching them intently. She had heard a bit about both of them, and decided to try to listen in on their chat...which meant that she only got about half of it, unless Elfangor was "thought-speaking" to the general area.
Forum-Yeerk Disembarkment bayBlackfire grinned at the yeerk (even if it was in another body) agent.
"You people look all important. You can't blame a girl for getting curious."
She laughed a bit.
Earth-Housing Complex 309 (or whatever you may wish to call it)A man in a red uniform slowly approached Kanna and co.'s house, his red uniform setting him out as an agent of NERV.
Around the house, soldiers clad in something that looked like
this were getting into position, around the windows and such.
The man knocked on the door.
Depending on who answered, he would ask "Melanie Narroh?" or "Jason Narroh?"

Elfangor, was in fact, only speaking towards Didymus with his thought-speak.
<The Andalite law of Seerow's Kindness> Elfangor said, <We are forbidden to give Andalite technology to another species, no matter the reason...>
The Andalite War-Prince paused once more, then nodded to Didymus, a very human trait.
<If you excuse me, I must be off now. I simply wished to have a chance to talk to you one on one...And if what I saw in the sky is true, an old sin of mine is here...It appears as though the Yeerks decided to come.>
He turned to Didymus and raised his tail blade in a show of respect, then turned towards his younger brother, who was looking worried.
They had a short conversation in thought-speak, and the two headed off.
<Good luck, young human> Elfangor said to Didymus as the two Andalite brothers headed off.
-Yeerk Disembarkment Bay-
The Hork Bajir was about to make another comment, when Visser Three stepped forward.
<A Tamarian> he said, <A Class Four species...Quite suitable for infestation, but difficult to take...>
Visser Three looked at Blackfire. While arrogant and headstrong many times, he could be crafty and manipulative if he wanted to.
<If you are curious, why don't you accompany us for now? We can discuss something...Blackfire, estranged Princess of the Tamarians.>

"Very well, Elfangor. An honor to have spoken with you. Thank you." Didymus said.
He considered saluting Elfangor, returning what was but decided against it, not out of any lack of respect for him, but more so because if he was filmed saluting such a key andalite, it could sour the already-cool relations with the yeerks, and, well, such political sensitivities were a part of his post. However, as Elfangor raised his tail blade, he hoped his own expression conveyed his own respect well enough.
Starfire was hovering still, watching the exchange.
Didymus's communicator beeped, and when he answered it, Rachel let him know it was time to get ready for the dinner he was to attend. He made his way back to the U.T.R. military embassy.
Forum-Mobius Gardens
Sally was ready for the dinner already, but she had some time to spend until it began, so she was out walking in the Mobius Gardens. They had much in common with the Earth ones. She walked about, and tried to keep a sturdy, but sociable demeanor.
Forum-Yeerk Disembarkment bay
Blackfire smiled slyly.
"Okay." she said. "I'll come along...just who are you, anyway. I mean, you're clearly a slug living in a stolen body, but I don't know much more than that."
Intimidation of government figures, regardless of their species, or attempts at it, at least, was part of her idea of fun.

Nourasia
Nourasia, one of the largest hubs of culture and tradition in the known galaxy, was slowly dying. The once tall and proud holy city of Dahll was fading in color and life and the kingdom that resided inside of Dahll was perishing as well. What once was an amazing place to live was now avoided by many travelers of galaxies. The Crog empire had not been kind to Nourasia....
A teenage boy stood silently, a dagger in one hand and a bow in another. He was currently in front of dozens of elders, each wishing to hear him speak. Beside him on one side sat his mother Queen Nori and on the other his father King Lao. Both stared in front of them, neither speaking. All eyes (except for his mother and father's) were on him.
The boy, Prince Aikka of Nourasia, frown and gave a slight cough to gain attention (though he felt it had been on him all night) before speaking.
"My people" the alien started, his voice even and calm. "I wish to tell you that our times of hardship and pain will soon end. Our country has been in the grasp of the Crogs for many years, but soon I will gain the throne and end their tyranny once and for all" With this the crowd cheered.
"Our time has come, we will defeat the Crogs! We will rule our own county! We will prevail!"
The crowd now cheered louder, voices echoing throughout the chambers. The elders were hailing Nourasia left and right.
Aikka turned away and exited the room.
He hated being a liar.
Housing Complex 309-Earth
At the doorbell Melanie and Jason looked at each other, wondering who could be at the door. They hadn't yet met the neighboors and they didn't have any friends in this part of the city. Melanie stood up quickly.
"I'll get it! Maybe one the neighbors brought us some brownies like last time!" the girl rushed to the door and opened it with a smile. Jason sighed and followed closely behind, leaving their studying behind them.
When the door finally opened Melanie's smile somewhat faded. He didn't look like one of the neighbors.
"Umm...May I help you?"

<My name is Visser Three> the Yeerk in the Andalite body said, <The only Yeerk ever to infest an Andalite body...As for being just a slug...>
He gave an Andalite smile, <We Yeerks are a sentient species, just as much as you, these humans, those Andalites. Do we not deserve the same freedoms as you? To be able to see, to hear? To communicate with other species?>
He swept his arms upwards, <Our enemies, the Andalites, wish to deprive us of these gifts they have in spades.>
Esplin 9466 Superior, more commonly known by his rank, Visser Three, glanced towards Blackfire, <Things are not black and white...>

The man regarded Melanie and Jason, looking them over curiously. They did not deny his reference to them, and they matched the profile. He pressed a small button on a transmitter he was holding.
He gave the NERV commandos around the house the go-ahead.
The windows smashed as the men clad in power armor broke in, and made their way toward the front door from whatever angle they entered from.
The man in the red uniform himself drew a gun.
"Come with us." he said.

"Relax, slug, I'm not into the whole "right and wrong" thing anyway. I could really care less if things were black and white."

Nourasia
Aikka retreated his bedroom, as a small celebration commenced downstairs. It was all for him, a gift as a thank you for the empty promises he had delivered, but he had chosen not to attend. Instead the teenager sat in his room, looking over some of the plans to rid Nourasia of the Crogs. He had only just sat down at his desk when a soft knock came at his door. The boy sighed, obviously annoyed, but softened his expression when the door opened. There stood his mother, beautiful and young. Her cheeks were a bit flushed (Aikka supposed she had been dancing downstairs) but she didn't look too tired. She stepped forward and bowed to him. Aikka stiffened.
"Mother, you don't have to-"
"Nonsense my prince, it is tradition to bow to the king"
"I'm not king yet" He stated bluntly
"You will be soon" She retorted before standing back up at full height. It was strange but she wasn't much taller than himself.
"Mother did you need something?"
"I implore you to come out of your room, people wish to congratulate you downstairs." When Aikka didn't respond she frowned. "Please, you deserve to have a bit of enjoyment."
"I do not right now" Aikka responded bitterly. "Our planet is in danger and I am in charge of fixing it as the king. My father, your husband, is dying and I must take his place."
At this Queen Nori's face fell a bit and the went to her son. She placed a small soft hand on the boy's shoulder.
"My son please....I care about you more than anything. I know this all seems overwhelming but you need to relax a bit before things become serious. Just one night, tonight, come with me. Please"
Aikka sighed and looked to his mother. "Fine"

When the man in red pulled the gun out of his uniform Melanie found herself screaming. Jason's azure eyes widened and in a flash of movement he had launched himself in front of his sister and at the strange man. Suddenly his hands were glowing a blinding light as he attempted to grab the weapon out of his hands.
"MEL MOVE" He yelled and the girl bolted in the opposite direction. When the glass of their home started to smash she found herself running faster, into the pale lavender room that was supposed to be hers. She rushed in and grabbed her phone, trying to call her mother.

<Well then, care to join us for now?> Visser Three said to Blackfire. <We seem to have much in common...>

Blackfire didn't take the visser's hand.
"Don't stoop to their level." she said. "My sister is fascinated enough by that race! It's disgusting!" Of course, it was more that she hated her sister than humanity, but nonetheless, Starfire's philanthropy had turned Blackfire into a misanthrope.
"But I'll come along." Blackfire said, hovering a bit. "Where to?"
Earth-Housing Complex 309
(No, Galv isn't supposed to be there, Irony. You'll see why.)
The man in red gasped when Jason lunged at him, and attempted to pull the trigger.
He did, and the shot rang out.
However, Jason had started his attempt to wrest the gun out of his hands at that time, and so the shot, rather than finding its mark in Jason, careened off into the air.
Anyone watching or listening may have noticed that the shot was not an energized projectile, but rather, just energy...something that often happened when people were trying to simply stun their targets.
A pair of the men in the powered armor suits rushed to help their unit leader. Jason's lightbending would have hindered them, normally, but they were wearing powered armor suits...their HUD (heads-up display) inside the suits darkened accordingly.
One raised his rifle (set on "stun") and aimed it at Jason...
"FIND THE GIRL!" one of the soldiers yelled through his suit's speaker.
Indeed, Melanie was pursued by a pair of the men into her room, where, weapons raised, they demanded that she "DROP THE PHONE! HANDS UP!"
(C_R, feel free to have Kanna show up and go postal on those NERV agents any time you may please.)

Kanna had barely noticed her phone lightly vibrating in her purse, she debated picking it up since it was probably her son reminding her yet again of what to buy for dinner that night as well as for their lunches for the week. Jason had a bad habit of not trusting his mother to do the simplest of tasks for her family, his trust issues steaming from years of her crude parenting style....She didn't care though, by now Kanna was used to Jason's lack of respect. He only had Melanie's best interests in mind after all....Though that did not mean she did not get annoyed every now and then.
Finally the young woman decided to pull her phone out of her bag, and she raised her eyebrow when she realised it was not her son but instead her daughter. Kanna clicked the "talk" button and answered.
"Melanie?" Kanna could hear some comotion in the background and then a shot. Melanie screamed again and Kanna felt her blood go cold. "What's the matter Melanie?!"
"Momma! Momma please! Jason he, they're shooting, he's-" The girl's paniced voice faded for a second and Kanna dropped her basket rushing out of the shop and towards the home.
Earth-Housing Complex 309
Jason closed his eyes and winced for a second as the shot rang out but when no pain came he blinked. Death didn't feel very painful...Wait....What? It took him a second to realize that the shot had missed him but of course he was still fighting so he couldn't relax just yet. Instead tried to throw a punch at the man but as he did he found the energy in his hands was doing nothing to him. Suddenly behind him two other men appeared aiming a gun at him.
"Who the hell are you?!" He demanded, his hands still up and glowing in defense. He couldn't help but to stare at the gun. He wondered if his luck would last.
Meanwhile Melanie who had gotten through to her mother found herself dropping the mobile phone onto her bed. She whimpered, still thinking that shot had hit her brother. The young girl whimpered and brought her own hands up. Much like her brother's they glowed a strange energy, but instead of light she had darkness. She did not attack though, she only tried to defended herself.
"What....What do you want from us?"

<Forgive me, but us Yeerks have no physical rituals that can translate through our hosts> Visser Three said, <So we've found it necessary to adopt those of others.>
Up until now, Visser Three was letting everyone hear this thought-speak, as he did usually, but now narrowed it so only Blackfire could hear.
<I heave heard of you, and you would be a valuable asset to helping us. We Yeerks have the means to help you take back your planet. All we wish for are host bodies from your fellow Tamarains. You will, of course, be allowed to rule the planet, unhindered by us, if you wish it. And do not answer me just yet...>
Now, back into broad thought-speak, <Let us discuss matters at the Yeerk Embassy at this Forum. It is...more private.>
The Vidit of Light - September 16, 2008 01:32 AM (GMT)
Forum-Yeerk Disembarkment BayBlackfire was interested, and spoke.
"Alright, sluggy." she said with her mischievous smile. "Let's go."
She was ready to follow the yeerk to their embassy.
Earth-Housing Complex 309Actually, the man in red had little protection from Jason's attacks, but his powered armor-clad soldiers had more.
As for who they were, Kanna would know, were she to see it, a patch like
this one one the man's uniform and on the shoulders of the powered armor suits of his troops. The text on the bottom (unreadable in that link) was (for the port) in Latin, and, for those that could read it, read "God's in His Heaven...All's right with the World".
However, there was no verbal answer to Jason's demand.
Instead, the two power armor-clad NERV operatives behind him raised their rifles and fired.
The blasts were pure energy, and if they hit, would stun Jason.
If he had began dodging before they were fired, he may have been able to avoid them...but it was, admittedly, unlikely. (Your call, C_R.)
Meanwhile, in Melanie's room, the NERV operatives after her raised their own weapons. Their suits, they hoped, would protect them from the adverse effects of Melanie's untrained dark abilities.
If her mother showed up, though...they wanted to make it quick. Their armor was classified as "light armor", lighter than even standard-issue marine armor. Designed to allow minimal detection in exchange for dampened abilities, it may not be able to protect its wearers from the...things Melanie's mother could do.
One of them, aiming at Melanie, simply said, "You're coming with us." through his suit's speaker.
They both fired at her, the same stun shots that were fired at Jason, and the same circumstances applied as to any dodging. (Again, your call, C_R).

Jason wasn't quite as lucky as he was the first time when it came to the gun pointed at him. With a loud noise he felt a burning pain in his torso before collapsing onto the floor without a noise. Only a soft thump was emitted when he fell.
Melanie was about to have the same fate as Jason, but loss of power in the entire home caused most of the attention to turn from the young girl and onto the figure who had just appeared in the livingroom. The woman, looked almost exactly like her children only with slightly aged features. She was beautiful but had a deadly expression upon her face. One hand glowed black and the other a blinding white.
She stared at them the soldiers, her azure eyes watching the NERV operatives. She was surprised to see them here, but at te same time she knew it would have come sooner or later. She looked at Jason lying unconsious on the floor and felt her heart stop for a moment.
"What did you do to him?!" She yelled violently
From inside the room Melanie looked up, trying to run at the door. "Momma!" She exclaimed as the gun went off in the room. She screamed and ducked, just barely missing her form.

The NERV troops were not afraid. Well, actually, that wasn't entirely true. While they did not simply drop their weapons and run screaming in any direction, Kanna's arrival triggered a few panicked cries, and those that were within visual range of her, without hesitation or warning, raised their rifles and fired.
Of course, it was a rather predictable course of action.
If the man in red was still conscious or at least in a position to speak (I don't know what, exactly, Jason did to him), he would have yelled out a "FALL BACK! FALL BACK!"
They had been briefed and were well aware that they were not...properly equipped to stand up to the "most beloved daughter"...besides, the local police could be heard arriving by this time, and they needed to get out of there.
Those that could started making their way towards the vehicle they had arrived in, backing up and trying to fire at Kanna at the same time.
She would need to be nimble to avoid their shots, as NERV commandos were excellent at what they did, but, again, their suits lacked the power to, for example, keep them warm in extreme cases of cold, or other various things.
Crystal Rose - September 16, 2008 04:08 AM (GMT)
(Basically if Jason attacks a person will get hit with extremely hot energy, when Mel attacks it's extremely cold :3 And when Kanna attacks....Well it's just plan horrible)
Earth-Housing Complex 309
Kanna narrowed her eyes before dodging the blasts aimed at her. Instantly her hands shot up, and blasts of heat and cold flew in every direction. Many of the retreating soldiers would have to dodge. She didn't linger much on the troops, instead she aimed for the man in red. Her hands glowed violently once more.
"Stay....Away....From...My....Children...." She stated slowly walking to him, not afraid of any of his attacks. She was designed to withstand a lot, much of what he could do she had allready been through.
By this time the men who were attacking Melanie had already began leaving. She rushed back in the main room, her eyes wide. She instantly noticed her brother on the floor. She collapsed onto the floor beside of her brother.
"Jason! Jason wake up!" She shook the young man, lying on the ground. Kanna looked down at her daughter and let out a relieved breath.

The as the troops retreated, one decided to try to fufill one of his objectives...as he ran, he grabbed Melanie (tried to, at least). Now, carrying a (small?) teenage girl was not too difficult with the enhanced-strength abilities of his suit (however minor they were compared to those of other sets of powered armor), but she (or her mother) may have had a few tricks up her sleeve (or fishnet).
Meanwhile, cries of hit soldiers could be heard, but unless it was a focused attack, they weren't down and out. And although some of their "eyeholes" in their helmets were either frozen or somewhat melted, their suits began to thaw the frozen ones, and the melted ones simply tried to run despite their impaired visibility. Although they continued to fire when they could, they had heard their orders, and basically knew that their mission was scrubbed, and piled out of the house and to their vehicle.
The man in red himself was slowly backing up, aiming his pistol right at Kanna...he squeezed the trigger. And again. And again. He continued to back toward his vehicle.
Captain wasn't kidding...she's...she's magnificent...simply magnificent... he thought. Yes, he was admiring the woman who was advancing on him.

It freaked them out.

Kanna was faced with a difficult choice, she really wanted to know why the NERV agents were here and after her family, but at the same time her younger child had just been grabbed. The small girl (yep she's rather tiny, like 5'1 and 110 pounds) cried out and kicked violently to try and escape by with no avail. Kanna turned on the man, a glare on her face that was probably making him regret his decision.
She rushed at him, hands glowing, and landed a punch with her hand covered in hot light. She wouldn't be surprised if the power of her attack started to burn the uniform.
"GET OFF OF HER!" Kanna screamed, aiming to kill now. She would turn back on the other man in a moment if he wasn't gone already. She wanted answers.
Suddenly she felt something hot hit her back, and she yelled in pain but didn't fall. It would take more than one shot to bring Kanna down. She yelled and brought her hands down, the sending another wave of energy at everyone in the room.

If indeed Kanna was aiming to dispatch now, than the soldier she attacked lacked the armor needed to withstand her. The light powered armor suit melted away as the man wearing it let out a rather unpleasant scream...and collapsed limp. He had been hit in the chest with a heat attack, and those with faint stomachs would do well to avoid looking upon that collapsed body...
...the man in red, hit by an attack and not wearing any protection, screamed out himself and dropped his gun. He was pulled into the vehicle he came in, and it quickly was off.
NERV had pulled back, for now.
The police arrived, and hopped out, weapons ready.

Didymus stepped out of the U.T.R. embassy with several other humans, Rachel included. They were both in their dress uniforms, and had just gotten ready for the dinner. Rachel was a pretty girl by most standards, and would make most humans (or otherwise) turn their heads, looking all cleaned up and groomed as she did, and although people can decide for themselves whether to regard Didymus as handsome or not, he was still looking...spiffy, to say the least.
They proceeded to a transport that would take them to the Mobian Embassy.

As fast as the attack on the Narroh family had started it had ended. The living room was filled with an eerie silence, the only faint sound was that of a girl crying against her mother. Kanna did nothing to move until the police sirens were heard from a distance. She then looked down at her daughter, pulling her from against her black dress. Carefully, but with some trouble, Kanna pulled Jason's unconscious form into Melanie's destroyed room.
"Melanie, stay here and try to wake your brother up"
Melanie sniffed and wiped her face with her sleeve "Why?"
"Just stay and don't come out until I call you"
Melanie watched her with a concerned expression but nodded. Kanna frowned and walked out of the room and heading towards the door.
She bent down and touched oe of the electrical sockets in th house...With a wave of energy her house had a temporary barrier. Whoever touched any wall would fell a shock of her powers. This would give her the chance for Jason to wake up so they could get out.
She ran a hand through her hair and sighed, it was horrible that they had been found.
The Vidit of Light - September 16, 2008 01:59 PM (GMT)

The police had not shown up to aid NERV, but rather because some of the Narroh's neighbors had heard shooting and called it in.
The police were flabbergasted at the barrier, and uncertain of what to do. For the time being, they simply called it in and waited.
Which meant that the Narroh family may well have the time to escape that they needed.

Blackfire sighed.
"Well, whatever." she said. "Just what do you have in mind? How are we going to bring Tamaran to its knees? I mean, a full-scale invasion of it by your army isn't going to help you very much...where do I fit into this besides the whole "I get Tamaran when you're done with it" thing?"
She was looking somewhat bored.

"Jason you gotta wake up, come on!" Melanie whimpered as she continued to shade the unconscious teenager beside her. He was in fact breathing, but the blast to his torso would probably leave a nasty scar behind. She continued to shake Jason until a soft groan was heard and the boy's azure eyes opened. Melanie blinked and launched herself upon her older brother, hugging him tightly and causing him to cry out. It wasn't often Jason was injured, Melanie pulled back hastily and watched him with wide eyes.
When Kanna came back into the room she froze at the sight of her son staring back up at her. From beside him Melanie was fretting over a obvious injury from the fight, but instead of paying attention to her it was like he was silently demanding an explanation for what had happened.
Kanna quickly reached for Melanie's recently unpacked suitcase and began packing it back up. She didn't want to have to explain their situation right now....They just needed to get as far away as possible.
"Melanie go get Jason's things, we need to leave"
"What? Why momma?!" Melanie asked, standing up from her spot. Even if she didn't want to Kanna knew Melanie would obey. She always did.
"Just do it" She snapped back and with a frightened nod the girl rushed back out of the room. Jason looked over to his mother with a confused expression.
"Who were they" He questioned simply. One hand laid over his stomach, and the other was used to prop himself up. "Who attacked us?"
"It's a long story, and anyways it doesn't matter"
"Don't tell me it doesn't matter!" He yelled a bit louder than intended. He winced "They almost shot Melanie!"
"I know, But what's important now is that we get away. I don't want to draw attention-"
"You never want to draw attention to us, is this why?! You have crazy psycos who want to kidnap me and Mel?"
"NERV wanted to kidnap you two?" Kanna asked, alarmed.
"So you do know them!" Jason hissed "Why did they want us?"
"I don't know, but how did they know you both were my children?"
"We do look alike Kanna. Now you need to explain. Now"
The door squeaked and both turned to see Melanie, now holding two bags (her mother's and brother's). Kanna looked at Jason and whispered.
"Not now, we need to leave. I'll explain when we're safe."

<The Yeerk Empire is one of the strongest in this galaxy> Visser Three said, <Your species are strong, on their own, but they will be no match for an invasion. Our Dracon Beams will shoot any resistors out of the sky. Those who do not submit will be crushed!>
He paused, then collected himself, <I have studied your species. Your power of levitation is rare amongst sentient species. It fascinated me. And as for a way to take over the planet...>
Visser Three straightened slightly, <Your sister, Starfire, is on this station...I believe you two have a feud. We Yeerks have our hands tied right now. But you, as a free agent, do not...If you can capture your sister, and bring her to us, then we can use this to our advantage...Your parents would be more then happy to see her, and every military secret can be easily plucked from her head.
<Of course, you can not bring her here, in the embassy...You'll have to take her outside the neutral zone...> Visser Three continued, <I can give you coordinates to a Pool Ship of ours that is in hiding. Bring her there, and we can take care of the rest.>
He paused, as one of his guards stepped forward carefully, looking nervous. He whispered something to Visser Three.
<Fine, fine> he said, not bothering to make it private, <A few of you go and make sure the other Yeerk ambassadors are ready.>
Esplin 9466 Superior, better known as Visser Three, turned to Blackfire, <As for what you receive, you will gain riches beyond your imagination, and anything else you could ever desire...>

Old Man Sensei, being part of the human ambassadors, was of course already there, talking amiably with a Mobian and trying to explain a joke. How he got there so quickly is not entirely known.
Then, a younger looking man appeared, in line behind Didymus, Rachel, and the civilians but then guard stopped him.
"Sorry, you're not allowed in," the guard said. The Doctor paused, then rifled through his coat, and pulled out a wallet, and showed him a piece of paper.
"Oh, sorry sir," the guard said, letting him through. The paper was blank, but it was psychic paper...Meaning someone with little to no training in dealing with something like that could be fooled. It also didn't work on exceptionally smart individuals.
The Doctor looked around and grinned to himself. "Fancy shin dig."

Suddenly, the physical remains of the NERV soldier inside the Narroh residence, and the suit that contained them began to be consumed in what looked like a fire.
It was, in fact, vaporization. NERV wanted to leave no proof that it was them who had attacked.
However, the weapon that soldier had used was still laying around.
Meanwhile, the police were still uncertain of what, exactly, to do, but they had readings on three people's vital signs in the house/complex.

Didymus noticed the Doctor (yes, he knows of him, and probably vice versa), and would have spoken up, but suddenly, a coyote mobian stepped into the room, and yelled out, in a heavy French accent:
"ANNOUNCING HER 'OYAL HIGHNESS, CROWN PRINZESS SALLY ACORN!"
With that, Sally, clad as elegantly as described earlier, stepped into the room.
Cameras floated around, focusing on her, as she scanned the room, and Didymus, having been instructed on what (more of less) was to happen, stepped towards her.
They approached each other, and Sally spoke first, looking up right into his eyes.
"Colonel," she said. "We may have been enemies once, but no longer. I admit...I...I was wrong to have lead my species against yours. Although I cannot undo my horrible mistake, I seek the forgiveness of you and of the rest of humanity."
Maintaining eye contact, Didymus replied:
"And, for my part, it is given. Also, for my part, I offer you my hand in friendship, both personally between the two of us and symbolically between our two races. Let there be peace and friendship between humans and mobians."
He extended his right hand, holding it palm-up in a formal/"regal"/gentlemanly manner.
Sally reached out her hand, and placed it in his. The cameras were focused on them.
"Indeed." she replied. "It is my pleasure to take your hand in friendship, and to repeat your call: may there be friendship between humans and mobians galaxy-wide."
They regarded each other for a moment, and finally separated their hands from each other, and Sally spoke again.
"And now..." she said. "Let us eat!" she said with a smile. People began to take their places at the table set up, with Sally at its head, seated to her right was Antoine, to her left Didymus (who himself had Rachel seated to his left), and the meal, a fancy one, began.

Blackfire chuckled, and spoke:
"So you think that's it?" she asked. "You can just roll into Tamaran with no repercussions? You may roll over Tamaran, but how would the other races react? Yourself, the andalites, and the humans seem to be the most powerful races in the galaxy, and even of them, the humans seem to have the upper hand, and they don't like you enough as is! You really think there'd be no consequences for just invading Tamaran like that? But as for my sister...if it means that something...amusing...happens to her...then I suppose I'm in."

With some help from Kanna Jason and Melanie were ushered out the back of their home and onto the street where the ran until they were out of sight. Most of the police were probably busy because of the fact that Kanna had just send an overload of energy into the home causing several small explosions.
Of course before she did this Kanna rushed through the living room and grabbed the sole piece of their attackers.
As they ran Melanie looked back at their "almost" home. She wished they could have stayed somewhere for a little bit of time.
"Momma where are we going?" The raven haired child asked, clutching her bag to her chest as they rushed. From beside her Kanna made no sound, and no indication that she was going to answer.
She really didn't know where they would go to now. It was dangerous being out here for the night, especially if the NERV agents were still around.
"Kanna, where are we going?" Jason demanded. He softly grabbed Melanie's hand to pull her along. Finally after running for a long time (both Melanie and Jason were out of breath) Kanna pulled them into an alley way. She leaned against a cold wall and took a breath.
"Momma we aren't gonna stay out here tonight are we?"
Kanna opened her mouth to speak but Jason beat her to it. He put a hand to her shoulder and tried to give her a convincing smile.
"It's alright Mel, we're not saying out here" Jason looked to Kanna, eyes narrowed. Melanie looked back to him and smiled. She yawned and rubbed her eyes, obviously tired.
"Think we could hurry up and find some shelter" Jason asked curtly before motioning for Melanie to get on his back. She yawned once more and climbed on. Jason winced slightly.
"I'm thinking...." Kanna said
"Well think faster" He retorted
The woman frowned and tried to think of a place they would be safe. With the NERV agents around there was actually nowhere in the world safe....Something clicked in her mind.
Nowhere in the world.
She had been thinking about safe havens recently, at least since the last time they moved in fear that they were being followed. Kanna knew she had to pick somewhere where her children wouldn't be found and there was only one place in the world where that could be guaranteed.
But how could she contact the galactic forum....She couldn't think of any better location.
The Vidit of Light - September 17, 2008 04:55 AM (GMT)

A woman in a red uniform similar to the one which the man who led the attempted abduction attempt on Jason and Melanie, and with...purple hair, probably dyed to be that color...stood with several others, also in red uniforms, looking over video feed from their soldier's visor camera systems, which was playing out on . The woman was standing with something of a satisfied look on her face. She spoke:
"I told you this would happen if you tried to send a light raid. That poor soldier she attacked directly didn't have a chance." she said.
An older man standing behind her, with a single star on either shoulder, indicating his rank, slowly spoke up.
"Very well, captain Katsuragi." he said. "But now our beloved daughter has gotten away again. And I doubt that the the administration is going to take this lightly...this may well be classified as a terrorist attack, and the administration will certainly look into it. But you predicted this would happen, and as such...you are in charge of bringing our...wayward daughter and her children back into the fold."
Misato Katsuragi smiled.
"Thank you, sir." she said.

The night was closing in on Kanna as she felt the pressure to get her children somewhere safe. She had been debating traveling to the galactic forum with Melanie and Jason but right now she did not see any better options. She let out a sigh and looked over to her son. It was no surprise to see him glaring back, still watching her suspiciously. From against his back she could hear a few light snores from Melanie. Kanna was surprised she had fallen asleep so easily.
"We're going to the Galactic Forum" she declaired softly. Jason raised an eyebrow.
"Why there, how is going out into space going to help us"
"It may be the only way to keep you and your sister safe."
"Safe from what exactly?"
Kanna sighed once more and ran a hand through her raven locks. She didn't particularly like talking about her situation back before she had her children.
"Can I explain on the way?" She finally asked. "Right now we need to get to a transport."
Jason shifted Melanie against him. Kanna came over and took all the bags from him. "Whatever...Let's just go"

"I might have found something."
A girl in her late teens was sitting in front of a computer, looking at several complicated charts and graphs. They showed various points all over the universe, several hundred of them. It seemed an impossible task to keep track of them all, but somehow she did.
"Yeah? I'm listening." A male voice spoke over a green screen on the side. It was a young man with brown hair.
The girl -- Emma Emmerich -- turned to that screen. "NERV is up to something. I've just gotten reports of them attacking a housing complex on Earth."
The male raised an eyebrow. "NERV? What could they be up to?"
Emma shook her head. "I don't know. As usual they're covering their tracks. No physical evidence that they were even there."
The male blinked. "So how do you know it was them?"
"Please." Emma replied, rolling her eyes.
"Heh, sorry. I forgot -- 'you have your ways'. Get me all the info you can on who lives in the apartment they attacked. If NERV is going after them, there has to be a reason; and knowing NERV it isn't good."
"I'm already on it. I'll download the info to you as soon as I have it. I assume you're going to look for them?"
The man smirked. "Of course! I don't know what NERV wants with these people, but they're always up to something dangerous, and they never care who gets hurt. Get in touch with Spike, tell him I won't make tonight's poker game."
"Already done. I'm sending you the info now. As soon as I figure out where they're going, you'll know." Emma replied. "Good luck, Sama."
Sama -- the former UTR Captain turned Bounty Hunter, smirked back. "Right. I'm off then."

-Yeerk Embassy-
<A conquering army? Perhaps...Or maybe a liberating ally?> Visser Three chuckled in thought-speak, <Do not worry about the repercussions. We have everything planned...>
<Now goodbye for now Blackfire...This meeting never happened. I was simply hoping to learn how to properly greet a member of your species, understood?>
-Human/Mobian Dinner-
The Doctor grinned, sipping a cup of punch and sidling towards a seat, looking around the room. He figured one or two Mobians might know him, but they wouldn't be here at this dinner, most likely.
Thankfully there was enough seats.
"For the continued prosperity of humanity and mobians!" Old Man Sensei said with a small cheer, raising a wine glass.
-???-
"Where am I...?" a white hedgehog muttered, rubbing his head, "And why can't I remember anything...?"

NERV Headquarters, location CLASSIFIED
Misato had been going over checklists. She had been poring over data, and looking over personnel rosters and equipment lists.
She looked over one roster, and saw a name.
"Galv".
She smiled, and checked the box next to it.
Getting on her communicator on her desk, she spoke up.
"Special weapons division? This is captain Katsuragi. You have my clearance, and I'm placing an order with you. I want Galv for the task force I'm piecing together. He is still...fit for service, right?...Of course, good. He'll be ready? Good."
Forum-Yeerk Embassy
Blackfire got up.
"Okay then..." she said. "See you around." she added, with a wave of her hand, and walked out of the Yeerk Embassy.
Forum-Mobian Embassy
Didymus was chatting away with Rachel, Sally, and Antoine, while eating. However, they were avoiding discussing the war, and Didymus found himself listening as Sally talked about the various "Houses of Mobius", and Sally would in turn listen as he talked of human history and culture.
