Although when I first heard of this movie, I had hopes that it would turn out good. I mean, certainly nothing can be worse than the film that starred Jean Cluck Van Darn, right? Well... that may still very well be the case, but... ugh, regardless of whether or not this movie actually will be worse than the other one or not... it still looks pretty awful. I'm still debating whether the casting in this one is even poorer than in the last or not, but I definitely DO NOT approve of their horrible casting for this movie.

What the hell, dude? Did they take casting tips from the people doing Dragon Ball Evolution? Gah, what awful mismatching we have going on here! Michael Clarke Duncan is passable for Balrog, at least, but I've always pictured Duncan playing smarter and more sophisticated characters, which Balrog is clearly not. Balrog is, for the most part, a dumb thug who's all brawn and no brains. I have the sinking suspicion, though, that based on all the apparent changes to other characters, they'll probably change Balrog's character as well. :(
And where the heck are Ryu and Ken? In the last movie, they were given the shaft and reduced to minor (out-of-) characters! Now they're not even present at all! They're the main characters of the games, for goodness sakes! It's like making a movie about Sonic the Hedgehog without Sonic the Hedgehog!
Well, I dunno how many of you are wanting to see it... and if my dissing the movie put you off, I'm sorry. But I've always considered myself a huge fan of the Street Fighter franchise and I do not like what this movie is turning out to be. I still plan on seeing it, though, just to see how badly they screwed things up (in my opinion). It comes out tonight, but I'll have to wait until some other time to see it, since I already spent too much money on Coraline recently (movie theater tickets and, especially, movie theater food is incredibly expensive).
