You can fill up your air at various points on the course, but to race well you'll have to use another means of replenishment: performing tricks with your board. Three new characters, actually: Storm the Albatross, Jet the Sparrow, and, um, something the Hawk. ^_^; I'll look them up later, but they'll be mercs working for Eggman, it said. ^_^

So I'm guessing you've all heard about the brand new Sonic game, Sonic Riders right? We'll this is going to be the first Sonic game of it's time since Sonic Racing that's totally (well almost) Story-free. It's also introducing a whole flock (I say flock because half of them are birds XD) of new characters!!!

hmmmm it looks like there are teams of three

Sonic/Tails/Knuckles
Jet/Webb/Storm

hmmm and Amy is in is as well but I have no clue if she's on a team, but I know she's playable (with a brand new outft too ^-^)

So What are your thoughts on it? Gonna shell out the 50 bucks on Febuary 21st?

I haven't heard anywhere that there are going to be teams in this game...

Anyway, it seems like it might be good (definitely better than Sonic R and the two Sonic Drift GG games), and if it's like F-Zero GX (also made by Sega), it'll definitely be worth a buy at some point.

It sounds great! I love the new characters... except for their beaks. ^~^

Jet the Hawk
Has Sonic finally met his match? This mysterious new character is widely known as the "Legendary Wind Master" due to his impressive Extreme Gear skills. He leads a talented group of thieves known as the Babylon Rogues and he carries a mysterious control box, said to have been passed down from the Ancient Babylonians.


Storm the Albatross
This power-packed force of nature is Jet's right hand man and the muscle behind the Babylon Rogues. He has a quick temper and may stutter when he's flustered, but if you're quick, you can outrun him since he's stronger than he is fast.


Wave the Swallow
This stealthy swallow is a mechanical genius and Extreme Gear is her specialty. While Tails and Eggman are among the best, Wave's skills leave them far behind.

Cool new characters! But also... kinda weird. x_x Why? Cuz... I made a bird character recently for Pexxus... I swear, just when I thought I finally had an original idea... anywho, I think I'd love this game. Btw, what does Amy look like now? o.o

Anyways, this game looks promising. I love the graphics and design put behind it. Reminds me a lot of the SSX games that came out for the consoles. And multiplayer action! That's a big plus for this game indeed.
