I did this a while back,and people think that my character is Maria! well,this should straighten thing's out.
~Chapter 1~
who I really am...
A young girl,walking down the streets of Station Square.No one notices,no one cares.This girl is no ordinary girl,but only one man know....Dr.Ivo Robotnik who watches her every movement,ready to move in.
Her name is Celeste,she has long blonde hair and blue eye's,almost sapphire.Usually,she isn't very happy..after all...her parents are dead.Living in an abandoned building by herself,a dirty bed before her,she crawls in and drifts into a deep sleep,dreaming of a better life.When something strange makes a sound.She opens her eye's to see a man in a hovercraft hovering over her body.Seeing the news on the televisions in the window's of the store she recognized the man...Dr.Eggman! She was about to scream when a toxic gas was sprayed on her and her vision went black.
When she awoke,she was inside a tube.Seeing Dr.Robotnik near her enraged her,she began banging on the glass."Lemme out! lemme out!" she repeated."Quiet you! you'll be out soon enough,just co-operate,this won't hurt a bit..." She kept banging,then something moved...she looked and saw a black and red hedgehog crossed his arms and stared at her,looking her in the eye's,she trembled from his eye's.As Dr Eggman threw the switch electric shocks coursed through her body,she screamed in painas her body floated,her bones changing shape and new body parts growing.
Her hair disappeared and teal quills were replaced,three long quills grew on her forehead.Her ears gone and new animal-like ears grew from her head,a tails sprouted from her rear and her toes turned into paws and fur grew all over her body,her clothes burnt in places.
He turned the machine off and opened the tube,brining her to a room to change her clothes "Shadow" he called "tell Rouge to stay with her,when she wakes up bring her to me" he instructed.With that he skated off to find Rouge.
Eggman laid her on a bed and tucked her in "the only other Robotnik in the world...my great granddaughter..." he left the room to run experiments on his transformation for Celeste,Rouge walked in Celeste's room...
"ugh...my head" she gritted her teeth and rubbed her head and felt an ear "how'd I get this bump-?!?" she was suprised to see Rouge leaning on the wall "hey sleeping beauty,your finally awake" Rouges look was just as shocked as hers "she was a human...?!?" Rouge thought."Well,first off,lets get you some new clothes" she handed Celeste a long black shirt with white sleeves,a pair of jeans and a pair of grey shoes "sorry,it's all we've got here" she helped her change into the clothes and helped her walk."So...what's your name? I'm Rouge" she smiled,comforting the young girl "I'm...Celeste" she said,still shaken from what happened."That's a nice name" Rouge said."Your nice...thanks" Celeste,for the first time in years...smiled.Rouge felt pity for her,being forced against her will to become this."You've gotta come with me,the doc wants to see you" she brought Celeste to a room and sat her down,while she stood beside her.Celeste fiddled with her thumbs,worried of what was to happen next.Just then you could hear footsteps,Celeste thought it was Dr Eggman and her anger for him rose,a fire burning in her eye's,but Shadow walked through,not Eggman.Celeste looked into his eye's and he stared into her's,she saw an image of herself in a blue dress...no...it wasn't her...it was..."Maria..." she said,not even realizing it.Shadow froze in place and walked over "what did you say?" he was shocked.Celeste trembled,trying to move away from him but he put his arm out "what did you say!!" he yelled,the another vision.She saw that same girl,a button under her shaking hand,there was someone in that tube...it was HIM! Shadow "please Shadow,for all the people...on that planet...give them a chance...to be happy!" Celeste repeated what the girl said,unable to control her body.The girl pressed the button and Shadow flew towards earth "MARIA!!!" Shadow screamed,Celeste didn't know,but she began to cry,Rouge stared in shock,as did Shadow "that's what...Maria said...?!?" he thought.Celeste saw a soldier run in and cock his gun...and shot...
Celeste returned to reality,tears streaming down her face,staring at Shadow,she knew his pain.He was still over her body,she sat it the chair and cried.She leapt up and hugged him,he froze,he didn't understand.Celeste didn't know why she did it so she sat back down and avoided looking at him,wiping the tears away.Shadow moved backwards and stood straight,when Dr.Robotnik walked in."Good,we're all here" he walked over to Celeste,she gave him an angry look "well,is that any way to greet your great grandfather" he smirked,she stared at him "gr-grandfather?" she said "what do you want with me!" she exclaimed,demanding an answer "I've researched on my family and found something about you...you are the reincarnation of Maria Robotnik,and you have a special gift within you,so I made your body more powerful so that you could unlock these powers to help me" he said "how'd you make my body more powerful-" she noticed her hair...no,quills,she felt her head again and felt the ears "that's not a bump..." she said,she felt something behind her and saw a tail."What did you do to me!!" she shook him,dizzy from Celeste,he puched her away "like I said,now your body is able to do things you could never do as a human" he told her.
Celeste was furious "you kidnap me,turn me into some sort of...THING and you expect me to help you?!? NO!!" she screamed "what-you WILL help me,you'll never be able to escape ALIVE!" he told her.She became enraged and her body began to glow,she tackled him and sent him flying,they all stared,Celeste amazed by what she did,immedialty,she turned and ran as fast as she could,and it took her less then ten seconds to escape from his fortress,but there was water all aroun so she began to swim,the robots gaining on her,she wanted to get away,she kicked with all her might and dived under to the ocean floor and ran at sonic speed on the bottom,fish couldn't even keep up with her "How am I doing this?!?" she was shocked,but there wasn't time to figure out how she was able to to these things.She was running up the shore of emerald coast,a small Fox saw her and scratched his head "better tell Sonic!" he spun his tails and flew high up,Celeste didn't notice,but what she DID notice was Shadow skating on the water towards her."Oh no...he followed me!" she ran towards the hotel,ran in past the people onto the other side,she looked back and bumped into something,she rolled on the ground and looked up "hey,you ok?" it was Sonic the Hedgehog! "Suh...Sonic the Hedgehog?!?" she jumped up to face him "you've gotta help me,there's this guy he's after me!-" "Sonic" Shadow stood not far from them "Shadow,long time no see?" Celeste stood behind Sonic "that's him.he's trying to get me! please help me!" she started to shake "so your after girls now eh?" he crossed his arms "hand her over,she's none of your buisness!" with that he charged at Sonic,Celeste was afraid for her protector and jumped infront and charged at Shadow,supried by her actions,Sonic tried to stop her but he missed her "hey wait,stop!" her hand began to glow and Shadow's too,he swiped at her and missed,but Celeste was under a trance and dodged it swiftly,and punched him in the gut,she stood staring at him,he was knocked back int a car and stood up "how are you so strong?!" he charged at her,she snapped back to reality and screamed,her arms infront of her face "AAAHHHH!" she waited for his blow but nothing came,she moved her arms and saw Sonic kick Shadow away "I'll be back,you can't protect her forever!" with that he cried "Chaos Control!" and disappeared.Sonic walked over "your safe now" Sonic put his hand on her shoulder "Sonic Sonic!" Tails landed infront of them."Hey Tails,whats up?" he said "oh,nevermind,I was gunna tell you about her,but I see you've already met her...so,who IS she?" he asked "hm,not sure,whats your name?" he asked her "it's Celeste...well,now it's Celeste Robotnik" she crossed her arms and looked at them,their eye's looked shocked "what...?" she asked.
~Chapter 2~
Celeste Robotnik,the Hedgehog!
Celeste stood blankly,staring at them "what?" she shrugged "your...related to Eggman?!?" Sonic bursted "uh...yes" she looked down "but I'm not evil like him! I swear!" she clenched her fists.Tails stopped Sonic from saying anything stupid "if your related to Eggman,how are you a hedgehog?" he scratched his head.She looked away "I'll tell you later" she said,not wanting to say what had happened."Well then,lets get outta here then,I know Shadow's gunna come back with reinforcements" Sonic said,Tails nodded and Celeste just stood there."You coming?" Sonic asked her,she looked at him and smiled "ok" she replied.
Celeste stood before a large mansion,she saw Sonic and Tails go in so she followed,they were greeted by a small rabbit and a strange little blue creature hovering around her "Hi Sonic! Hi Tails! huh?" Cream looked over at Celeste and hopped over to her "hello,what's your name?" she asked."It's Celeste" she shook Cream's hand."My name's Cream,and this is Cheese!" she said "chao chao!" the small blue creature said cheerfully "um,what is he?" she asked "that's a chao" Tails said "now lets go meet everyone else" Sonic said,they walked into a large room,Chris sat on the sofa with Amy,Vector was helping Vanilla cook in the kitchen,Charmy was flying around,Espio was meditating outside and Knuckles leaned on the wall,his eye's opened and were fixed on Celeste,an angry shocking sort of look.Celeste looked at everyone "um...hello" she said,Chris and Amy walked over "hiya,what's your name?" Chris said Amy looked at Celeste,then Sonic."My name's Celeste Robotnik,but you can call me Celeste" she said "Robotnik?" Amy snapped back to reality and looked at her "your related to him?" she said "ya,I am,I just found out recently" she told them."Tell everyone to come in the living room to meet her" Sonic said.
Eventually,everyone was gathered in the living room."Ok,everyone this is Celeste" they all said hello."This is amy" Sonic pointed to her "this is Cream,Vanilla,Espio,Vector,Charmy,Knuckles,Ella and Chris" Sonic said,they all waved "what about me?" Tails smiled "oh,and that's Tails,he may be young but he's a genious" Sonic said,Tails blushed "hehe,well..".
"so what's YOUR story? why is Shadow after you?" Sonic asked her "well..I wasn't always like this...I used to be a human" she said "WHAT?!?" they all exclaimed."I was a human girl before,Dr.Robotnik turned me into this...now he's after me for some reason,saying I have'hidden powers' or something like that" Celeste said.Knuckles grunted and looked away,Celeste looked at him confused "I'm gunna go head to the mountains,see ya guys!" Sonic ran out of the house "wait,Sonic!" Tails exclaimed,but he just kept running."He's alway's doing that..." Tails shrugged "I'm going to work on the Tornado" Tails ran off,something grabbed her arm and she turned "Knuckles? what're you-" "come outside" he said,he ran off,his fist gripping her arm,they were in Chris' backyard.Celeste looked confused "why'd you drag me out here?" she asked him,he punched his fists together and gritted his teeth "I sense enormous power inside you,fight me!" he charged at her,she jumped out of the way,barely missing his fist "what're you crazy!?! why'd you do that!" she stood up,angry."Fight me! don't hold anything back!" he charged at her,everyone heard the commotion and ran outsde,all but Sonic.
Celeste was to slow and was punched in the face,she flew into the pool,no one moved.Celeste felt something growing inside,it wanted out,she couldn't hold it back,her eye's had no shine and she rose out of the water,floating above the pool,Knuckles stood ready.Her blank eye's drooped down looking at him and her hands were inflamed with chaos energy,she landed on the ground and walked towards him,then jogged,then ran at him,punching and kicking,Knuckles tried to block her attacks but they were too fast.
"She is in sight,I'll wait to attack" Shaodw said,up in a tree he observed the fight,waiting for the right time to attack.Celeste punched Knuckles down to the ground and her foot on his chest,staring blankly at him."No! I can't...what's happening...can't fight it!" she yelled,holding her head,the shine to her eye's returned and she fell to her knee's and cried "Knuckles..I'm sorry!" she hugged him "I couldn't control myself!" she cried,Shadow leapt down and walked towards her,Knuckles tried to warn her "suh...Celeste...look..." he lifted his hand and pointed behind her,she turned and saw Shadow,she stood and clenched her fists "you...stay away!" she cried,he kept walking."stop!or I'll.." she looked around for anything to use against him,he stood infront of her "Sonic's not here to protect you little girl,no come with me or I'll hurt your friends" he looked at the group.Celeste was enraged "no" she said "you have no choice" he said,he grabbed her hand "I said NO!" after saying that she when to punch him,but he quickly grabbed her wrist."stop struggling or your friend's will die!" he pulled her,but Celeste tried to break free of his grip "don't toutch me!" she kicked him and he hit a tree,struggling to get up he was about to charge at her,when Knuckles,wounded and tired stood infront of her "don't toutch her...or you'll have to deal with me" he said."HA! you? you can barely stand,I should end your sorry life right now!" he was about to charge when he stopped and saw them all block his way.Espio held his ninja star firmly "your not going to harm her,or Knuckles" he said "Ya! get lost ya creep!" Charmy stuck his tongue out,Vector cracked his fingers and form them into fists,ready to fight.Just then,the Tornado x-2 walked out,weapons ready "Shadow..." Tails growled.Shadow took a step back and they all took a step forward.Celeste held Knuckles up so he could watch "they're all protecting me..." she whispered "why...?" Knuckles heard her "because,your our friend now,and friends stick together" she began to cry,tears of joy "Knuckles,stay here,she gently sat him down and she walked to the front of the group,Shadow was confused "Shadow,lemme tell you something" she walked up infront of him "Maria,her lasts words were 'give them a chance,to be happy',yet you are taking me away from my friends,so that one man can be happy,because he want's to use me to make everyone else unhappy,you promised her!" she yelled at him "how do you know all this,about Maria" he asked "I saw what happened!,now please...I don't want you to be my enemy" she hugged him and he saw Maria's face smiling,he looked away "...",he took his radio and said into it "I quit..." he crushed it in his hands and put his hand's on Celeste's shoulder's "I'll be your ally...that's what Maria would have wanted..." he looked at everyone and Celeste did too,they all had a confused look on their faces "uh..." Charmy said Celeste laughed and ran over to Knuckles,helping him up "I'll explain in the house,you coming Shadow?" she looked back.He nodded and followed them all in,before he could walk through the house Tails stood infront of him with his hand held out,Shadow was unsure of what he was doing "it's a handshake" Shadow shook Tails' hand and Tails looked up at him "welcome to the team!" he smiled and ran in the house,Shadow stood for a second "this is far from over..." he mumbled,closing the door behind him.

New allies call for new enemies
Knuckles laid in Chris' room,Celeste walked in with a glass of water "Knuckles? here's you water" she helped him drink it "thanks..." he muttered.She put the glass on the dresser beside the bed and clenched her fists "I'm so sorry,about what happened! it was my fault,something happened to me,I couldn't control my body..." she started to cry "it's ok...no harm done" he laughed "I'm going to be fine,don't worry" he said,Celeste stood and walked out of the room,Knuckles fell asleep.
Everyone but Ella and Vanilla and Shadow were outside,Shadow stood in the corner of the house,in deep thought."She's the reincarntation...of Maria...no wonder saved her...I knew something was special about her" he thought "I should tell her..." he walked over to Celeste "Celeste...I need to talk to you,come upstairs" he walked up the stairs,she shrugged and followed him into a bedroom.
"What did you need?" Celeste asked "I need to tell you...about your parents..." he said "Yes...I know,they're dead,they died in a car accident" she said "No" Shdow replied."No? but...thats-" "they didn't,I should know...I saw them die..." he said,Celeste took a step back "what...?" she asked."They were murdered,when you were a child,your parent's lives were ended when they answered the door,when they opened the door...soldiers shot their bullets through their bodies...killing them" she jerked back in fear "please...no..." she whispered "somehow,I was drawn to you...I wore a cloak to hide my identity...I came in through the window and killed the soldiers,and saw you walk through the doorway,when I saw you Maria's face was in my mind,so I picked you up and brought you to an abandoned building and raised you...for as long as I could.I had to leave you at the age when you could remember who I was...that's what happened..." she fell to her knee's and cried "WHY! WHY WERE THEY KILLED!" she exclaimed "it was bacause they were ROBOTNIKS!" Shadow yelled,Celeste opened her eye's tears poring down her face "Dr.Gerald Robotnik created me and Biolizard and was declarded insane,they hunted down the remaining member's of his bloodline,but missed a few,they started their own families but their lives were ended quickly after..." he said Celeste cried "it's not fair,it's not our fault! I should be dead!" she cried.Shadow kenlt infront of her and gave her a hug "be happy that you are alive..." he lifted her up so she was standing.She looked up at him "why...my family is dead except my evil great grandfather and he's after me for my powers...why am I here?" she asked,he wiped her tears "you will see your destiny soon enough,give life a chance...be happy.." he walked out of the room,she walked over to the window and saw her new friends outside,she wiped her nose and eye's and smiled "that's what...Maria said..." looked at the sky..."what's that? Shadow...?!?" a blue-ish spiked figure flew towards them...
~Chapter 4~
"I Love You!"
Celeste ran outside,telling everyone to go inside "please! just go inside!" Shadow stood outside "be ready,he's approaching" he said,in his battle stance.
A robot landed in front of them "annalizing:Subject known as Project Shadow:destroy" he turned to Celeste,she took a step back "annalizing:Subject known as Celeste Marie Robotnik:retrieve" it said walking towards her,Shadow blocked it's way "why don't you just try!" the metal version of him tackled Shadow to the ground,it's sharp blade-like fingers squeezing his neck "do you actually think I am as stupid as Dr.Ivo Robotnik's other creations? HA! you are sadly mistaken!" Celeste grabbed the robot and pulled him off Shadow,throwing it to the ground,she ran to Shadow's side "who is that robot?" she asked "it's metal Shadow...I've fought him before..." he coughed "I'll fight him,just watch" she stood up,her fur flowed in the wind as her hans were engulfed by a flame of chaos energy "I won't let Dr.Eggman take me!" she yelled,the robot laughed "you FOOL! do you actually think I would work for that overweight moron? I have my OWN army and intentions for your powers,now..If you will come with me quietly" he held out his hand.She slapped it away "hehe,hurt my friend,call me a fool? and you expect me to just fly into your arms? not without a fight!" she charged at the robot,but was soon knocked down "ugh..why you!" she was about to stand up when the robot charged,Celeste closed her eye's,ready for the attack,but nothing came "huh? AAAAAHHHHH!" she opened her eye's and Shadow was standing infront of her,and Metal Shadow's hand was infront of her face...it went through Shadow's body "SHADOW!!!!!!!!!!!!" she screamed,Metal Shadow leapt back and watched in amusement.
"Please...no! don't die! I don't want you to die,please wake up!" Metal Shadow chuckled "he is going to be dead in a moment,half the amount of blood in his body is on my hand!" he laughed.Celeste cried "Shadow! please! don't die..." she cried "I Love You!!!" when she cried those three word's,her quills began to flow "huh?" she wiped her eye's and saw her hand was glowing,she put her hand on Shadow's motionless body and the light entered his body,she looked in amazement at what was happening before her eye's,the light covered his wound and formed now skin! Shadow twitched."Shadow...?" she saw him stand and look at Metal Shadow "time for you to leave" he said "oh? and how do you plan on making me?" he crossed his arm's."like THIS!" he shot his famous Chaos Spear at the robot and sent him flying into a tree "hm...her powers made you stronger,perhaps it IS time I left,till we meet again!" he flew off,Shadow walked over to her "thank you" he walked into the house,everyone just stared at him,they all ran out "what happened?!? you ok?!?" they all exclaimed questions to her "if it's ok,I'm gunna go rest" she walked up to the bedroom and changed into some PJ's provided by Amy.She tucked herself in and closed her eye's smiling,then she jumped up "aw man! did I say what I think I said?!?" she tried to remember...and she did "Shadow! please! don't die..." she cried "I Love You!!!" she remembered saying "oh man,I did! thank god he was unconcious" she laid back down and fell asleep.
Later that night.....
Shadow stood outside looking at the moon,the battle in his mind 'I love you!!!' her voice was so clear in his voice "..." he sighed.
