I beleive he means you didn't draw it... and therefore it should be in Media. But, the FanArt section, at least according to the blurb on the front page, is meant for stuff you didn't draw and want to show off as well as stuff you did and do.

Actually, believe it or not, this IS official art. In Japan, they publish manga called "4-Koma" which often uses licsenced characters in funny comic strips. These are actual official mangas, and I know this cuz I buy them. :P
