To start this off, I'll do mine.
First up, Turbo Tails: The Fight Against Metal Sonic
Really a prequel to the next fic, it's four parts long, and is timed right after Sonic Adventure, in fact, right after the defeat of Chaos! Metal Sonic gathers the rescattered Chaos Emeralds in record time and attacks Sonic at Tails' Workshop. The duo of Sonic and Tails end up running and getting away barely, and get to Angel Island, where it seems Knuckles had a run in with the metal fiend. Metal Sonic captures Amy, and forces Sonic into a fight. I'll leave the rest for you to read. -tails- vs. -metal-

What Turbo Tails prequels. It starts off after Sonic Adventure 2. Shadow had survived the fall, and infiltrating a G.U.N. Base, he finds something unexpected about Amy, Sonic, and Tails. He is found by Sonic and Tails, who are gathering the Chaos Emeralds for just in case. G.U.N. strikes up their plan, and ends up capturing Amy and Shadow for five years. They get free, I'll leave the details to be read, and refinds the othes for revenge against G.U.N. Metal Sonic comes out of hiding and attacks, setting forth a chain of reactions that nearly destroys the world. Read to find out more. Seven parts long. -sonic- -knuckles-

More likely an AU then based on a timeline. It uses the Sonic Heroes system of three on a time, with Speed, Flight, and Power. Due to a series of events Tails has to get Shadow and Big to fend off an alien menace in a series of challenges. It's a humorous fic, but has an actual plot. The three have to work together in order to save Earth, but can they? Only two parts up so far.
