My personal favorite was AOSTH. I loved that show so much, so much comedy in one half-hour. I grew up on that show and it will always be my favorite. What was your favorite?

Well I grew up with AoStH too ^^ it was so funny

But then I moved to Germany and watched SatAM

And then I moved back to America and got hooked on Sonic X

Well, I watched a lot of AOSTH and SATAM when I younger, but I hardly remember them at all. Now I watch Sonic X whenever I can.

I guess I'd have to say Sonic X is my favorite, because I can't remember the others too well, but I always liked SATAM a lot back in the day.

Heh, my favorite still seems to be the Sonic movie... something about seeing Metal Sonic come to life is just pretty awesome. ^_^

Ya, I also watched AoStH back when I was little. It was pretty cool back then. Seeing it again nowadays, it's not quite the same, but it's still enjoyable. And I kinda wonder why Jaleel White doesn't do Sonic's voice, anymore. After hearing his voice so many times as a kid, no matter what show it was, I ended up really getting used to him being Sonic.

I think my soon to be favorite will be the little cartoon thingie on Sonic CD, even though I dont even know if they talk in it or anything it looks cute

I have. They don't talk in them, and there's only 2 movies, the intro movie and the ending where he saves Amy. Incidentally, the same people that animated the little sequences in Sonic CD are the same people that would later animate the Sonic movie.

I got an old The Adventures of sonic the Hedgehog.

Btw, the description they have of the story isn't very accurate. Anywho, the thing I like about this is that, unlike the Sonic X DVDs, this one you can choose between English and Japanese! ^_^

Well, I vaguely remember watching AoStH long before, and I've seen a few episodes of Sonic X. That's it. But I voted for both of em anyway XD

My favorite of the Sonic cartoons probobly is the SatAM Sonic, with a close second to the other Sonic cartoon aired around that time (which is what I believe AoStH was, correct?). I haven't really watched Sonic X since about last winter or so (ther than an occasional episode or two, because I'm usually sleeping on Saturday mornings). And no offense to those who liked Sonic Underground, but I hate that show. It's just way too different with the focus on those weird instrument crystals and bad music...

Gotta go with SatAM. I grew up on that show! The plot was really involving for a kids' show and the characters were great.

Sonic X is probably my second favorite. I like the Japanese version, since it makes me feel like I'm studying for my Japanese classes.

I really hated AoStH, even when it was on. I watched it, but it was poorly animated and plotless.

I've only seen 1 episode of Sonic Underground and I wasn't impressed. I suppose I haven't really given it a chance though.

I have too say that I like sonicX the most.

AoStH. It's the one I watched when I was a wee little youngin....along with SatAm, but I only saw a few episodes of that...

I watched AoStH when I was small, but I like SatAM better. Mainly because SatAM was more serious and made more sense.

Though, I must say, Sonic X is my favorite. Why? It had something the other Sonic cartoons do not.

I voted for AoStH. It's not really my favorite, cuz I don't really have a favorite show. Favorite animation, however, I do, as I love the Sonic Movie. Anywho, I voted for AoStH because it's the first Sonic cartoon I watched (it was also the first that was made) and it was very cartoony. It was funny, too, but sometimes Robotnik's butt gives me nightmares. XD

However, it's flawed, in my opinion, but honestly, I can say that about all the Sonic cartoons, even Sonic X. But I won't, because I don't wanna get shot... ^_^; Even if they're all flawed, I don't hate any of them... well, okay... maybe one... since someone already expressed liking it, I'm kinda afraid to say this, but... I don't really like Sonic Underground. The theme song itself makes my eyes melt. If you like SU, stop reading my post, otherwise you'll not be very happy with me... *ahem* What the spork is up with them defeating bad guys by starting to play instruments and play BAD rock music?! Well... I guess they're singing was so bad it had that power... and Sonic has a twin brother and sister? And Knuckles... (I'm so glad I saw the Sonic Movie first, otherwise this would have been the first time I saw an animated Knuckles) poor, poor Knuckles... they totally screwed him up... now, why does he have a pet dinosaur again?

Sickening. Absolutely sickening.

In My Opinion, Sonic X was good, but could've been better. Chris was the only thing that stood between good and Great, basically. Chris mostly got in the way

the poll is as old as the board, and many people at the beginning of this board came because of the Sonic X show that was still on air for most of the first year or so of this board's life. That's why. :p

There were only a couple of things I didn't like about it.
Top of that list was Chris.
Oh God how I hated that lad.
Also, is it me or does Knuckles seem more of an idiot than usual in the show? There's something not quite right about him in it.
The english version is pretty bad, but with Japanese Dub and English Sub, it seems alright XD

Barring the 4Kids dub, Sonic X isn't too bad... well, at least the first season, anyway. Things got a little more than I could handle as soon as everyone started going to outer-space.

Though, I dunno... I usually can't go through an episode without complaining about something, so maybe you might have a point, afterall. ^_^;

The only time I ever really, REALLY liked an episode... it would be the first episode. After that, the show, while not terrible, I guess also wasn't quite what everybody else made it out to be. To me, anyway. Though, there was still a lot of moments throughout that I liked, even if overall the show seems kinda "meh" to me.

I won't go into the whole Chris thing, as everyone knows how strongly I feel about that character's presence and mere existence. However, I will touch upon the recently mentioned treatment of Knuckles. If anyone thinks Knuckles has been treated poorly recently in the games, it's about a billion times worse in Sonic X. They actually ended up turning him into comic relief. *sighs* That's... just not right.

UNLESS you are a new Sonic fan... then it's probably pretty cool. But to those of us who think Knuckles isn't comic releif... it doesn't exactly rock.

But you gotta admit... the first episode is single-handedly one of the coolest Sonic animted things ever done. At least the show knew how to introduce Sonic with style. Of course, the end of the episode, where Chris appears to save Sonic from his pool... ya, the show never really got back up to speed after that moment... that moment that would, by the way, be repeated in flashbacks nearly every episode as Chris cried like a little sissy about how in love he is with an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog. I'd say that Chris thought of Sonic as a pet a lot of the time (which annoyed me), but at the same time... who loves their pet that much?! Seriously, the kid has issues.

And, that's, really all I have to say on that. I never actually, well, "watched" the show, so my opinion is kind of like yours in class if you didn't read that book, that is to say, worthless. But Cosmo was a good character. Let's all agree on that. Sonic needed a serious Tails interest and a martyr. Now we can check that one off our list.
