Trixie’s story
Chapter One “The Great Fire”
Trixie
lived in a tall wood called “The Oak Forest”
She was unofficially adopted by a colony of Foxes that lived there.
One of her friends there was Vicky
she’s Trixie’s best friend because they grew up with each other in the wood since she was a small girl. Vicky is a Fun loving fox who loves to be noticed not unlike Trixie except Trixie is a little shy.
Another friend of Trixie would be a family of a brother and a sister, Dip
is the older brother and Mint
is his little sister. There’s another family but they keep by themselves a lot, Jake
and Tim
. There are many foxes that live in the wood.
There’s Ken
He loves adventure and he dose have a little crush on Trixie
But anyway Trixie has something that all the foxes in the wood don’t have….two tails
She was born with these tails but I don’t think she quite knows how to use them yet.
Anyway she lived in The Oak Forest since she was a girl but she has no knowledge of her family or anything except a note her mother wrote her when she first came to the wood when she was about four years old, she keeps this note under her glove and reads it all the time being curious about her past. Her story starts at The Oak Forest.
“Trixie why do you keep reading that note?” said Vicky curious.
“Well I like it here but I…I can’t help wondering what happened.” Said Trixie
“Well that’s all well and good but we have the get home it’s bed time and we’ll be in big trouble if we don’t get home soon” Explained Vicky
“Ok I’m pretty tired anyway” said Trixie.
Then they went home and went to bed. Trixie was staring through the window next to her bed dreaming and reading the note again and again the note read “Trixie I’m sorry I have to leave you here but we’ve come under attack and…..I know you’ll be safe here. I love you and you’re brother Miles and I hope we see one another soon.” She read that note over and over until she eventually fell asleep. Meanwhile a robot is out side the woods next to the trees.
“Carry out you’re mission Zero-23y, eliminate all freedom fighters and all family relations” said a dark voice coming from the communicator the robot was wearing.
“Yes Master” said the robot.
The robot was black and red in some places.
Then the robot had a gun type weapon aimed towards the trees of the forest he started putting the trees on fire. The fire spread quickly and reached Trixie’s house.
“Fire!!” shouted Vicky.
Trixie jumped out of bed, she ran to the door but it was hot she ran to the window and jumped out but she forgot the note her mother wrote her, She had fell asleep with it because she kept reading it. She grabbed it but it was burned from the fire she only had one peace of it. Vicky ran to Trixie.
“Are you ok?” asked Vicky pulling Trixie to safety.
The whole wood was on fire all the surviving Foxes ran out of the wood Then eventually the fire was out but all the tree’s were gone. There was nothing there but ruin.
“What happened?” asked Trixie. “There was a fire a big one too, the forest is burned there’s nothing left of are home or anyone else’s” Said Vicky.
“How come you were outside?” asked Trixie. “I went to get some water from the stream but it was dried up by the fire” said Vicky.
“That must have been some fire” said Trixie.
“Well we’ll talk about this later right now we need to make a camp for the night” said Vicky helping Trixie up.
It was dark so all the foxes made a fire and gathered around and discussed the fire and what to do.
“Now, we are the survivors of a fire that threatened to destroy all of us…..are home is now gone, The fire was so big it burned everything until there was nothing left” said Jess
(Jess Andrews) “What do we do now?” asked Dip holding his younger sister close. “Were going to have to leave and find a new home” said Jess.
But then an Image was coming out of the ruin it was Jake but not red like normal but he had different shades of orange and yellow it looked as if he was on fire but he wasn’t. The fire had given him the power of fire; the fire must not have affected him but transferred its power to him. Jake clasped in front of them then his younger brother came over
“Jake!” said Tim rushing to his brother.
Jess walked up to them.
“Get him some blankets and some water” said Jess.
Then Ken came back with some blankets he had found in an old shed just outside of the old wood. Tim stayed with his brother the whole night waiting with him.
“There’s still a matter to discuss here, we need to leave this place, it will not be safe for long” said Jess.
“But where will we go?” asked Trixie.
“We could go south maybe meet up with my cousin Mike near The Old City” suggested Jess.
“Why do we have to leave?” asked Ken.
“Because the fire burned all the trees and the stream dried up and…I don’t think this fire was an accident” said Jess sitting next to the fire.
“What do you mean?” asked mint snuggling closer to Dip.
“I mean I think this was meant to happen and someone did this on purpose” Said Jess. “But The Old City is miles from here and some of us can’t make it on are own” said Dip. “We’ll help each other out all we can, but alone or not I’m going” said Jess.
“Let’s sleep on it, we’ve had a ruff day” said Vicky.
Then all the foxes gathered around each other and went to sleep. Tim stayed with his older brother all night waiting to see his brother wake up.
“What happened?” said Jake rubbing his head.
“You came out of the ruin and fell down……..what happened you shouldn’t have survived” said Tim.
“I….I was in my room when the fire came and….I went to open the door and when I did there was a roaring fire, I ran back but it was to late the fire had cornered me I thought I wouldn’t get out of there alive but…….when the fire got to me…I wasn’t affected and I changed color and….I can’t remember after that” said Jake.
“But the fire didn’t affect you?” said Tim.
“No I don’t know why” said Jake.
Trixie was sill awake staring at what once was her home.
“Trixie what’s wrong?” said Vicky getting up.
Trixie just stared at the last peace of the note.
“What is it?” asked Vicky.
“I know what I need to do I’m going with Jess and the others” said Trixie.
“But….it’s such a long way away” said Vicky.
“It’s what I have to do” said Trixie
“Ok then I’m coming with you” said Vicky determined.
Then they all went to sleep until the next morning.
