Unmetal sighed. Flyers like this littered Mobius nowadays. It had only been five months since The Change, but everyone seemed to have adjusted well--
New cities. New governments. New forests, lakes, mountains, hidden caverns... one would think it would be a lot to take in. But it wasn't. Things had settled back into how they used to be... kind of. Nobody knew what went on in Robotropolis or Eggmanland; everyone knew it wasn't good. It was as though a clock hung over them all, just tick-tick-ticking away the seconds until the time came when a hero was needed-- a hero that was gone--



Unmetal picked up the flyer and crumpled it.
Then he ran off towards Station Square-- there was some kind of announcement going on there...

"PEOPLE OF STATION SQUARE!" boomed a loud voice, projecting over a huge crowd. He looked out at them through mismatched eyes. "This is Commander Braxton of the Guardian Units of Nation speaking, here to announce matters of vital national security." The President and his daughter, Sera, stood behind Braxton. "First of all, today marks the official re-creation of G.U.N. We are now a multinational army built to protect the Three Nations- NakaSama, Station Square, and Westopolis, against all who may wish to harm it."
A big cheer came from the crowd.
"Secondly!" he said. "It is time to come to terms with the fact that Sonic the Hedgehog is not going to come back. I- we-"
But he was not heard. The crowd's outcry was too great.
"But never fear! G.U.N. is creating a powerful arm- army! A POWERFUL ARMY!!! TO PROTECT--"
It was no use. Braxton was shouted down by the sheer force of the audience-turned-angry mob. The President stepped up and gradually quieted them. "Now, now," he said, smiling congenially. "It is almost the Festival of the Black Comet, which only comes once every fifty years! This is a time for celebration! ...And never fear, our search for Sonic grows greater every passing second."
Braxton rolled his blue eye and his yellow one as the crowd cheered...

KER-SMASH! A couple of blocks away, a taxicab smashed into the side of a building, sent flying by the fist of a giant robot. "Objective completed!" said Omega in his monotone voice. "We must make haste!"
Shadow Android, who happened to look exactly like Shadow at the moment, nodded, toting a mysterious bag they'd just stolen. "Right. Hopefully that announcement will distact any obstacles that might have been lingering around here."
They ran down the street, hoping to avoid capture... but also wrecking anything in their way.

Meanwhile, on Angel Island... Julie-Su the Echidna ascended the steps of the Master Emerald Shrine in a hurry. "Knuckles!" she cried in distress.

(( Okay guys... there are lots of things to do... if you have a bad guy don't be afraid to, no, actually, I ENCOURAGE YOU to start your own plans... choose where your character is and what they're doing... BEGIN! :D ))

And then, the view switched over to the Wood Zone, where on a small waterside beach, a bunch of mobians and a human were taking a peaceful rest. A small cabin stood in the forest that could be seen from there, showing where they lived. A big cabin... But a cabin nevertheless.

The human was Desty Nova. He has long started the renovation project, and his new lab was improved to a maximum security. The main HQ was not complete quite yet, but the nanites he set to work made short work of the problem. He has also spread small packets of nanites into every zone so far created, setting them on making small backup labs and outposts in random places. But none of those have even begun building yet, because the materials were just gathering.

And since Desty had nothing left to do, he accepted Nite's plea and has taken a long vacation. It has been some time since the new world was created, and ever since the beginning, Team Stellar and Desty Nova were taking a rest. Nite recovered marvelously, coming out from a near-breakdown state into full health. This was their last day on the beach, and they were enjoying the vacation while it lasted.

Nite, as usual, was breezing through the water. He, unlike Sonic, was NOT afraid of water at all and was quite happy that he was not. He was the second-best swmmer on the entire team, Solar being the first.

Solar, on the other hand, was jogging on the forest line, zipping from one place to another at Sonic's speeds. It so happened that he was once mistaken for Super Sonic's yellow blur, but then was recognized as Solar. And he was still training himself up.

On the other hand, Kayhat and Luna decided to play a game of Water Polo, and have SOMEHOW assimilated X13 and Rea into it. Chakra was perfectly fine getting herself a tan, and Starlite...

Well, Starlite was nowhere to be seen. She was probably at the cabin (she's yours after all, BR).

Nite, in the meanwhile, was floating on his back in the sea water, relaxed and totally slack.

"Damn... This is one good vacation..."

Kayhat yelled from the shallow end then.

"NITE!!! Come on, already! Come on! Don;t be a wuss and let's play some ball!"

The cathog shook his head visisbly, and continued to relax. Kayhat grumbled and resumed their game. This was the way it was...

Almost 5 months to the day.......
It seems as if everyone has forgotten........
Sure they are still searching but....Everyone who matters allready knows....

Amy looked up to the dull sky. Strange how the weather sometimes reflected one's mood. Amy was suposed to be heading towards Tails workshop right now. It was routine since what happened; She would head down there a few times a week to see how he was doing, then spend a little time talking with Cosmo and Lilly.

A light sigh escaped the pink hedgehog'd lips as she continued on.

It wasnt that she did not like seeing Tails, but everytime she spoke with him It made it harder to forget what happened. Sonic was like Tail's big brother and it is so sad to see an orphan pretty much orphaned again...

Poor thing

Soon the workshop came into view. Two girls came into view almost immediately who amy recongnized as Cosmo and Lilly. Both sisters were sitting on the small patch of city lawn out front deep in discussion. Both girl's flowered heads looked up as soon as they heard the click of her heals.

"Amy!" Cosmo stood quickly giving a short bow to her friend. "I was worried we would not see you today!" She smiled kindly opting Amy to do the same.

"Of course I would come, have you heard from your mother and sister's lately?"

Lilly nodded standing beside Cosmo. "she sends her depest regrets for not being here as always..."

Amy nodded "It's allright, she is needed in space"

"I heard that there is a press confrerance in Station square today, are you going to attend Amy?"

Amy shrugged "It's probably the same old thing.... I dont wanna hear it again..."She watched as the other two frowned but paid it no mind. "Where is Tails?"

Cosmo pointed towards the garage "In there, he's been working rather hard for a good few days now. Im a bit worried."

"Probably just another mecha" concluded Lilly

"I'll go talk with him okay? It's will only be a few minutes."

Cosmo nodded allowing Amy pass her.

"Why arent you the one talking to him?" Lilly asked over her shoulder.

"It's not like I dont want to, but he said he doesnt want to worry me with his troubles...."

"Well it seems as if that would worry me more..." Lilly walked towards the street

"Where are you going?"

"Out to station square, I wish to see the confrence."

The scene was Station Square, a few miles away from where Commander Braxton and The President were making their announcement that Sonic was missing.

The figures were lying unconscious on the sidewalk, having not remained conscious in the dimensional travel they had gotten themselves into.

The first figure we saw as a black and pink hedgehog, from a distance, easily confused with Shadow. Once we got closer, we can see what Shadow's highlights should be red, are pink.

He was the first to recover, sitting up slowly and rubbing his head. Also unlike Shadow, his aura had a great difference. Not as serious as Shadow, more like happy and caring.

The next figure was a kitsune Mobian, looking like a female version of Tails. She wore a light blue vest, and was the second to recover. She looked around eagerly, then frowned, they had not gotten to where she had been trying to go.

The last figure was an echidna, light blue. He looked much like Knuckles, and was in fact, his grandson, though not from the Rapidverse these three were currently in. He came to soon after the kitsune

The hedgehog's name was Chatrol, the self proclaimed leader of the three. He stood up and looked around, "Okay...I don't think this is the Chaos Dimension...It looks like we're in Station Square...Why did we end up here?"

The kitsune Mobian, who's name was Cafe, spoke up, "I don't know...I guess we'll never find my father..."

"Don't say that!" the echidna said, his name was Knuckles the II, "We'll find Tails someday!"

"Exactly!" Chatrol smiled, patting Cafe on the back, "Besides, we're Ultimate Life Forms, as is Tails! We'll rescue him eventually!"

Cafe smiled slightly and thanked the two.

"In the meantime we should find out where exactly we are. This may not be are dimension...Something doesn't feel right," Knuckles the II said, looking around.

"You're right...Something is off..." Chatrol muttered, closing his eyes and focusing.

"There's a gathering of people a few miles from here. Let's check it out," Knuckles the II offered, sensing the life forms since he was fused with Chaos.

"Right! Let's go!" Chatrol smiled. He activated his Air Shoes, like Shadow's, and took off. Cafe followed him by spinning her two tails and hovering quickly. Knuckles the II's soles became liquidy, and he took off sliding like that, with very little friction slowing him down.

Soon they made there way to the gathering, Chatrol grabbing on of the many fliers on the ground, showing that Sonic was missing.

"Sonic's missing? But we saw him just yesterday..." Chatrol muttered, looking at it.

"We might not be in our dimension Chatrol..." Knuckles the II muttered.

"Guys...we have a problem..." Cafe muttered. She was holding a newspaper she had gotten from the trashcan, thrown away by someone who didn't want it anymore.

The headline, "Fifty Year Return of the Black Comet."

"Well, this proves it. We've already seen the Black Comet, and this isn't our past, and the Black Comet comes by every hundred years where we're from..." Knuckles the II said, pointing to the newspaper.

"Don't remind me...That had been a close one..." Chatrol shivered, remembering the incident with Black Doom from their dimension.

"Then we'll find out what's happening! Maybe the others from our dimension are here!" Cafe shouted.

It was time to gather information.

Trapped. Alone. Sad. Regret.

These were the kind of feelings Shadow always felt. It was no different today.He was sitting on a hill in Gree hill Zone. Thinking, that is what Shadow did best.

If only he would have been faster. He might of been able to save Sonic, Maria too. Sonic. That name inside hurt. Shadow had cried just a little. Only a few tears. But that took a lot of hurt to do that. Shadow didnt even care about the blur blur that much. But seeing as how everyone else got hurt, Shadow couldnt help but feel that pain too.

Shadow sat on the hill, not knowing what to do. What was his purpose now? To find his memories? A failed cause. What else did he have to live for? Maria was gone....."CHAOS CONTROL!!"

Shadow looked at teh Infinity Emerald. Harle had let him in. Shadow had been here a lot lately. Looking at Maria. Maria was trapped in Teh Infinity Emerald. Now Shadow was alone. Again. Again.

"Dont worry Maria, I'll get you out of there some day."Shadow nodded to Harle and teleported out of the chamber.

"You must find the lost ruins. You must come to where we can help you."

Knuckles was in meditation in front of his gigantic green stone that was the Master Emerald. His eyes were closed, and he was hearing a voice. In his mind's eye he saw an echidna who's face was covered by a white hood, speaking to him and urging him to seek out a long forgotten temple, though every time he had this dream he could never see the reason why. He started having the dream over five months ago, not long after Atomnik stole the Infinity Emerald. Knuckles had started meditating, as the echidna elders of old would, and now he had the dream while meditating -- though he was impatient and rash and could not focus enough to see the entire "dream", if it was a dream at all.

Sonic was missing, Eggman and Robotnik had rebuilt their armies, and yet the world was at peace. It was odd to think that after all that had happened, with the greatest hero of all missing, that peace could come; yet it had. Knuckles did not trust the quiet or the peace.

"You must seek us out, only then can we teach you the truth... Knuckles..."

Knuckles began to see a part of the dream he never had before; suddenly he could see the path he had to take, and then:

Julie-Su's voice reached him, the dream was gone, and Knuckles opened his eyes. The odd dream would have to wait, since Julie-Su was now in front of him, and she looked and sounded worried about something.

"What's wrong?" Knuckles asked, standing up and ignoring the dream once again.

Back in Station Square, however, was another being who wasn't happy at all. He looked at one of the fliers and spit on it, then he tossed it into a trash can. There was no need to find Sonic. He was useless, and now that he was gone the world could see a true hero in action.

"Look at all zeh fuels. They think Sonik is such a greet heero." Antoine spit again. Ever since five months ago, he hated Sonic more than usual, and he was happy to be rid of the blue rodent. Antoine had half a mind to march up to Braxton and tell him that they would never need Sonic as long as Antoine was around, when a taxi cab crashed, Antoine screamed like a girl, and hid under a mailbox.

"Where are you, you little blue son of a--"

"Doctor Robotnik, sir!" It was Scratch the robotic badnik chicken.

Eggman sighed. "For the last time, my name is EGGMAN; Robotnik just copied my good looks." Eggman swiveled around in his swivel chair and looked at Scratch and Grounder, his two newest henchmen. Eggman crossed his arms and leaned back, glaring at them from behind his glasses. "This had better be important!"

"Oh it is, Doctor Robot--"

"EGGMAN! MY NAME IS EGGMAN! E-G-G-MAN!" Eggman whined like a child who didn't get his way.

"Right. Sorry Dr. Robotnik, anyway, G.U.N. is having some kind of a conference in Station Square." Grounder said, saluting stupidly.

Eggman sighed. "Put it on the computer screen..."

In Station Square, the infamous Chaotix Detective Squad was shocked as Braxton stamped the offcial "missing" stamp on the Blue Blur. But, while the three Mobian detectives were stunned, they soon felt like they'd seen it coming. After all, ever since the incident with the Super Emerald, the Chaotix had gotten more cases than every before. Perhaps this was from Sonic's absence, and crime rates had been going up.

"So Sonic's on the milk carton, huh?" Vector asked, which I guess was his way of saying Sonic was nowhere to be found. "No wonder the phone's been ringin' of the hook. When your hero dissapears. ya count on the ole detectives ta fall back on."

"I'd find that insulting..." Espio began, looking around at the angry mob.

"Well, I don't!" Vector snapped, rattling the chain around his neck. "As long as WE keep getting paid, SOnic can stay missin' all he wants..."

"Fifty Million Mobidollars for his return?" Charmy said suddenly, reading off of the flyer that he'd caught.

"WHAT?!"

"THat's what it says, right here!" Charmy told his leader, holding the paper in front of his face. "That's more than we;ve made since he left!"

"No way!" Vector laughed, snatching the flyer. "That's perfect!" He suddenly pulled out his magnifying glass and struck a heroic pose. "From now on, The Chaotix main objective, over all other cases, will be to locate Sonic the Hedgehog, and to bring him back safe and sound!"

Espio sweatdropped. "How noble..."

"I know what we can do..." Chatrol smiled, looking around at the crowd.

"We need to stay low Chatrol...Don't get yourself-" Knuckles the II began, but was cut off, as Chatrol had already leapt upwards unto a street light, breathing in deeply to start his announcement.

Thankfully Cafe was fast enough, and flew upwards and tackled Chatrol back down, giving him a slap across the cheek.

"Idiot! We need to be careful! We might mess with the inner workings of this dimension!" Cafe scolded.

"But...Aren't we supposed to help people? They think it's a good thing the Black Comet is returning! We know it's bad!" Chatrol countered.

"Not neccasarily. It could just be a regular comet here. We don't know," Knuckles the II said.

Chatrol frowned and crossed his arms across his chest, looking a lot like his his father.

"Fine...I'll be quiet," Chatrol sighed.

"Good morning Tails"

"I said good morning Tails....."

"Earth to Tails! Good morning"

A pair of azure eyes tore from a couple of pages of blueprints and glanced into a pair that were jade.

"Oh..Hey Amy what's up?" He attempted a smile but just ended up looking back down into his work.

"Geez, no- "Gee Amy it's great to see you" or "Wow Amy Im so glad you're here"?" Amy joked, her hands on her waist as she watched the yellow kitsune work.

"Gee Amy it's great to see you" Tails muttered not even looking up.

"It's nice to know im care about." She looked over his shoulder "So what are you working on?"

"Blueprints"

"For what?"

"A new plane..."

"Why, isnt the tornado still working?"

"I dont want to use that one anymore..."

"But why I-"

"GEEZ AMY! Would you stop with the questions?!?" he snapped grabbing a pencil and scribbling a few notes.

Amy just backed away from the fox and gave him his space... He had become like this in those last few month. He was more secluded, designing new creations, guns, planes, anything. It was like he was replacing his old arsenal with the new gadgets. She just suposed this is how he coped with the loss of Sonic. He didnt want to look anywhere and be reminded of him.

I guess the X Tornado is the last thing
It was Sonikku's first wasnt it?

"Hey, how about we go out to the city Tails? I was going to invite Cosmo and Lilly as well, perhaps we can-"

"Not tonight...Too busy"

Amy frowned "But there is a new toolshop in Station Squar-"

"No"

"Come on Tails"

"No"

"But Cosmo want's to go"

"You take her"

Amy was getting tired of this little back and forth game. She tunrned to his papers and grabbed them from the boy.

"Hey!! Give it back!" He rused at her but she kept the papers tightly in her hands.

"Dont you get that she is worried about you? We're all worried about you! All you do is stay in this workshop trying to get rid of every piece of Sonikku left! Dont you care that you're hurting Cosmo?"

Starlite flew out of the cabin and hovered over the water near Nite. "Nite," she said gravely. "Something seems to be going on over in Station Square. There's a lot of people shouting. Can you tell what's going on?"

Shadow Android and Omega ran along another street, and saw Chatrol, Cafe, and KII in their way. Shadow Android leapt atop Omega and jumped over them as Omega ploughed through. The ocean was visible ahead; their escape submarine lay waiting.
"Almost-- there--"

Julie-Su stopped panting and straightened up. "Knuckles, he's following m-"
Who she meant soon became obvious. Metal Knuckles burst in, trees falling as he plunged through the forest. He stopped when he arrived at the Shrine. Tough as a rock and able to take any hit, the slow and unwieldy Metal Knuckles was a member of the METALLIX- though of course no-one knew that yet. He ran up the steps of the Shrine and prepared for a punch.

No, nobody had heard of the Metallix- but they would. Silver Sonic, standing on a rooftop in Station Square, reached for his communicator. "All operatives, respond..."

Suddenly down from the sky dropped Blitz. He flapped his wings together and a gust of air shot out at Shadow Android."Excuse me I dont think those belong to you."

Another puff of air was launched and Blitz went in and kicked Shadow Android in his robotic muzzle.

"What in the name of..." Knuckles the II began as Shadow Android and Omega plowed through them.

"Dad! Omega! I didn't know you guys were here!" Chatrol shouted happily, jumping forward at great speeds and attempting to glomp Shadow Android, but was stopped when Blitz appeared.

"Chatrol!" Cafe yelled, "That might not be your father Shadow!"

"Something's not right...I don't feel any life from Shadow..." Knuckles the II muttered.

Knuckles gasped as he saw Metal Knuckles appear. There was no reasoning with a robot, as Knuckles well knew, so instead he knew he'd have to do something else. He ran forward and threw a punch at the red rippoff's body, connecting with his metal nose.

In retrospec, this probably wasn't his smartest idea, since his hand was filled with intensive pain. He growled and jumped back, now realising this robotic rad red was made of tough stuff. He turned an eye to Julie-Su.

"You alright?" He asked, not turning his back on Metal Knuckles.

Nite opened one eye.

"Well, that's a grave tone... Lighten up, Starlite. I BET it's nothing serious. As for seeing into it to make sure, as Nova. He's got the scanners. My mental abilities cannot watch that far unless I project myself, and I do NOT want to tire out quickly."

He closed his eyes.

"Besides... We're on vacation... I'm planning on enjoying it while it lasts, becayse Nova has already called the Ragnarok in, and we're packed and all. Now go tell nova to get his ass on it and get into the water. It's the PERFECT temperature today."

And with these words, he floated onward.

Dottie laughted at him. Her feeling were a mixture of horrorabout what Antoine just did. "Sonic was a hero, Antione. He did many great things. You however, are a wuss."She said.she looked at a flyer tht blew past,and was couriose about the Black Coment. What wasit.

Nacklooked at the flyer. His eyes became dollar sgins and started to jump in the air, in a random dierection. "The Chaos Emerlds can wait, I need to find a blue hegehog!" In another part of SS, however, Nic saw Nack jump in the air. "Hmm, my bro thinks he can find that hegehog before me. I'll prove him wrong!" She said, as she hopped in the direction opsite from were Nack was.

Every fifty years, the Black Comet passes by the planet Mobius. Scientists foolishly believe the comet is just that; a comet. In reality, it is something much more sinister and dangerous. It is the transportation for the most lethal being in the universe, a genetic monstrocity who's motivations were a mystery, but who's intentions would soon become tragically clear.

However, the comet was not close enough yet, so no need to worry about that now.

Back on Angel Island, Knuckles knew he was in trouble. Metal Knuckles was physically stronger than him, and he'd probably be able to win this fight; and Knuckles could not allow him to win. Julie-Su's life was on the line -- she was a good fighter, but nowhere near Knuckles' level. Besides, more importantly than his friend and fellow echidna, the Master Emerald's safety was at stake. He could not allow this robotic rascal to get his hands on the Master Emerald.

If Knuckles couldn't beat him with his bare fists, he'd have to rely on his weapon. Five months ago, Knuckles had recieved a very powerful weapon -- a weapon which he had kept, even after Maria restored the world. He dashed up the steps, past Julie-Su, and to the inner shrine. He kicked open a trunk and grabbed a belt that held a sheath on the end. He tied the belt around his waist, and then drew a sword from that sheath -- the Sword of Acorns.

Sure, Knuckles probably should have returned that to it's rightful owner, and actually he did -- however, upon returning it the sword was given to him for safe keeping. After all, it had easily been stolen five months ago, and who better to protect it than the Legendary Guardian?

Knuckles held the sword in his hand and ran back out, facing his metal copy once more.

"You want to go bud? Let's go!"

Meanwhile, in Eggmanland, it's ruler and namesake was still monitoring the world. He had spent five months setting up an extensive survalliance program -- actually HE hadn't, G.U.N. had, and Eggman simply hacked into their servers and used their survalliance to monitor the world. He was not concerned about the Metallix, he was concerned with finding Sonic. It was his obession and his quest. Sonic had not come back, and Eggman had to know why. He needed to find that hedgehog. Sonic had no right to die, or disappear, or anything else -- his fight with Eggman was not over yet!

Metal Knuckles was still winding up for a punch. Knuckles's earlier punch had done no harm; now, he stood before the robot again, 45 seconds later, and FINALLY Metal Knuckles finished the punch.
It was a force equivalent to being hit by a freight train; needless to say, Knuckles went flying; and landed behind the Master Emerald.

Metal Knuckles looked to the left; Metal Knuckles looked to the right. Knuckles was nowhere to be seen!
"Misson complete!" he said into his huge claw. "Objective: detain Knuckles and prevent him from receiving any information regarding Atlantinopolis. Objective completed! Next mission?"

"..." There was a pause on the other side of the line. "That quickly? Are you sure he's unconscious?"
Metal Knuckles looked Julie-Su square in the face. "Yes!" he said. "Objective complete. However, what is the protocol for dealing with his companion(s)?"

"YOU MORON!" blasted the voice, that of Black Metal Eggman. Metal Knuckles happened to shift a little to the left, and saw Knuckles; he was still moving.
"Visual data presents error: Knuckles not unconscious. Mission not yet completed."
There came a sound of someone banging their head against the wall, and the line clicked off; Metal Knuckles rushed forward to punch Knuckles.

Starlite nodded nervously and sat down on the water, trying to relax...

Shadow Android didn't have to worry about Blitz. Omega's huge arm smashed into the bird and sent him flying. The robot advanced on him. "You will not distract us from our objective!" He shot a machine gun blast at him.
(( Gasp! A steel robot versus a seahawk?!?!?!?! XD ))

Meanwhile, Shadow Android turned to face the three. "Who are you?" he asked suspiciously.

Silver Sonic got more specific. "Black Shadow, Metal Sonic, and Mecha Sonic! Meet me by the edge of the Mortmain Mountains, STAT!"

Tails nodded slowly "I....I know..." His glace turned to the ground "Fine....We'll go to Station square okay?"

Amy nodded "Come on" Handing him the blueprints back she led him out of the workshop just in case he decided to take a pitstop anywhere else. As the both exited the workshop Cosmo walked up to them wrappung her arms around Tails quickly.

"Are you allright?" She asked quietly. Tails mearly nodded.

"Yeah.. We're gonna go to Station Square okay? I wanna check out the new shops"

"Allright we'll all go"

Amy looked to the two with a small smile but then noticed that they were down one princess. "Where did Lilly go?"

"Press Confreance thing" Cosmo answered realesing her grip "She wanted to check it out."

"Then perhaps we'll see her downtown"

Lilly looked around the town in hopes to find where the confrence was being held...

"Perhaps I have missed it" she said dejectedly She looked down to see a few random flyers on the ground. Ignoring the fact that these humans were littering thus killing the planent ever so slowly-- she picked one up and looked at it.

How many times have I seen his face plastered around town?

She sighed looking back up and spotting yet another famiular face. One that almost looked like the blue hero's except for a few small differences.

"Unmetal?"

(I wasn't aware I was playing Metal Sonic, but I will if that's okay!)

Chatrol quickly backed up, staring at Omega and Shadow Android.

"Ummm...Knucks?" Chatrol wondered, looking back at the blue echidna.

"Whoever that is, it's not Shadow! I'm not sensing any life force!" Knuckles the II yelled back.

"Alright," Chatrol smiled, "I don't know who you might be, but you can't copy my dad!" Chatrol pointed straight at Shadow Android, grinning, "He's the coolest!"

With that, Chatrol moved at high speeds straight for Omega and Shadow Android.

"Chaos Kick!" the black and pink hedgehog shouted, bringing his foot around and slamming it into Omega.

"Everyone! Go! This is dangerous!" Cafe shouted to the people who were nearby, trying to get them to leave.

(Yes, BR, Vacation is almost over... It has been some time since the vacation was commenced. 3 weeks in fact. I have planned it that way. And right now, they are packing up to return. Is that good with you? Aftyer all, it would take just about that long for everyone ro realize that Sonic is gone, to map the continent and for Unmetal to run around the entire thing.)

Nite nodded, floating on the water closer to the shore, passing almost right by Starlite again.

"You're tense. Relax. Or force yourself to, at least."

He thought for a second. Or it looked like he did. More or less, he was actually psionically checking her surface thoughts, picking up the tendrils without actually delving into her head.

"And yes, something IS wrong. The festival of the Black Comet is coming, and I also get edgy when it gets close. I dunno why... You can explain it more to me, since you are the astronomer extraordinaire of the team, Starly. And these 3 weeks were fine. If we are getting edgy... Well, I believe that it is tome for some action, right?"

Black Shadow was sitting by the bay area of Station Square, looking out at the seas when he recieved the call from Silver Sonic. He nodded his head and spoke into his microphone.

"I am on the way."

Then he looked down at his chest; where a Chaos Emerald was implanted in him. It was the source of his immense strength, and more than that. Black Shadow was made from the remains of Silver Shadow and Metal Nite (although Metal Nite had been rebuilt, part of his blueprint had been copied when making Black Shadow.), but more than that, Black Shadow was able to unlock chaos powers because of the emerald in his chest.

"Chaos Control."

A second later, he was at Silver Sonic's side.

"You called?"

Knuckles jumped to avoid Metal Knuckles' punch, and he slashed the sword at the ceiling. Several chuncks of rock fell and landed on Metal Knuckles, and while Knuckles knew that would hardly be enough to take him out, he wasn't done yet. While his enemy was distracted by the rocks, Knuckles grabbed his Drill Claw gloves and then punched Metal Knuckles, the strength of his punch tripled by the gauntlets.

Blitz was knocked back and a bullet went through one of his feathers. Blitz was mad. He raised both of his arms and made a cyclone/tornado underneath Android Shadow. The tornado picked him up off the ground and he spun and spun. The Blitz released him and rammed him into the next building. In the rubble, Blitz picked him up by his robotic throat."Give back what you stole!"

Metal Knuckles was hit by the rocks; they hit him so hard he sank into the floor of the Shrine a bit. He was punched back, but his feet did not move, especially since they were now sunken into the floor, and he raised up again like one of those boppem-sockem clowns.
By this point Metal Knuckles's second punch was speeding up. It was heading for Knuckles's face... then...

*blam*
Julie-Su shot him with her blaster, knocking the arm off its path. Then she jumped forward and shocked him with her tazer. The robot fizzled and crackled.
"..." Metal Knuckles looked at her. "That did absolutely nothing, you know," he said. He tried to move towards Knuckles and Julie-Su but was stuck in the floor! The rocks had trapped him. "Bipedal units appear to be gravitationally challenged. Seeking solution to error."

Julie-Su turned to Knuckles. "I saw him walking towards here-- I asked him what he was doing and he told me that whole mission-objective thing, so I came to warn you. But what did he mean about Atlantinopolis? Do you know what he's talking about?"

The people to whom Cafe spoke didn't move. Some took pictures and chatted; one guy bought a hot dog.
They were used to this kinda thing.

Omega was struck to the ground, however breifly, by Chatrol's chaos kick; Shadow Android, too, was temporarily trapped. He knocked Blitz off of him and stood, cornered, in the rubble.

"If you knew what we were stealing and who from you'd be helping us," he said. "Have any of you ever heard of Emerl?"

Starlite sighed to herself. "Comets are nothing but dust and ice," she said, "But what's bothering me is the way I'm moving... my orbit is going to revolve close to the central star in my system soon, and I'll be repelled into another quadrant, becoming a dual system with a black hole..."

She sighed again. "I'm more than just a little nervous. It's... it's a big change."

Silver Sonic nodded. "Great. I'm gonna go find Metal and Mecha and meet you by the Mountains-- go grab that rebel and bring him to us, 'kay?" He ran away over the rooftops.
He'd pointed to Unmetal, talking to Lilly on the streets below.

"It's been awhile hasnt it Unmetal?" Lilly said making her way over to Unmetal. "How have you been?"

Lilly looked to the hegehog, it was strange how much he resembled Sonic. Amy told her awhile back that he was originally a copy of the blue blur but then he was debotisized and turned into his own person, well of course aside from his simular speed.

"Amy might be out here soon, she's trying to get Tails outta the workshop for a bit."


(Gwaa.......So short.......Sorry......)

Chatrol backed up slowly from Omega and looked at Shadow Android.

"Emerl?...Never heard of him," Chatrol said, and eyed the two.

Cafe was staring at the people who hadn't left. They could very well be in a lot of danger.

"You idiots! Move if you don't want to die!" Cafe shouted.

"I'll handle this..." a new voice growled. Knuckles the II had shape shifted slowly, not nearly was fast as Chaos, but fast enough. He suddenly appear behind the people looking the same, but now twice as tall as the lamp post and as wide as one. He growled, then said, grinning, "boo."

(Fine, not roof, but there IS pillars.)

Knuckles looked to Julie-Su, and then back at the robotic him. He put the sword away and then turned to Julie-Su, scratching his chin.

"Atlantinopolis... hmm... not sure what that is, but we can find out. But first, we have to get rid of this guy, I'm not leaving him three feet from my Emerald."

Knuckles kicked the robotic him in the face, and then turned to Julie-Su once more.

"Any ideas on what we can do with him?"

Black Shadow nodded. "Right. Chaos Control!"

He vanished from beside Silver Sonic, and reappeared next to Unmetal and Lilly. He delivered a punch to Lilly's chest, knocking her away from Unmetal, and then he grabbed the blue and white hedgehog by the throat.

"You are coming with me, traitor!" Black Shadow roared.

Dottie Gasped in horror at what Black Shadow did, and flew over to Lilly. "Are you okay?" She said. She turned to Black Shadow. "That was rude! Your going to pay for that!" She screamed as she punched the robot in the face.

Nic jumped about near Angle Island.She observed the fight, and hoped if she helped Kunckles, he would give her info on were was Sonic. She pulled out her popgun(Does Nic have one? I'm assuming she does) and shot at MetalKux.

Nack saw Dottie punch Black Shadow in the face. He shot at Black Shadow. "That's not how you treat a lady, robot." He said.

Black Shadow was suddenly attacked by two people. The first a ladybug who punched him. It didn't hurt him at all, since he was made of metal, and an alloy denser than that of Metal Knuckles, which meant not only did it not hurt him, but it did hurt Dottie's hand.

"Fool. I am Black Shadow of the Metallix! You can't expect to defeat me with punches and pop guns! CHAOS SPEAR!"

Black Shadow lifted a hand, green light appeared in his fist, and he threw a spear of chaos energy at Nac, while aiming a kick at Dottie.

"Traitor, come with me, or I will kill these three!" Black Shadow said to Unmetal.

Dottie was sent flying because of the kick, but was able to put it to her adavantage and flew up in the air.
She held her hand in pain, and flew at Black Shadow holding out her left fist at 150 MPH. if this dosen't hurt him, than I don't know what will! She thought.

Nack was knocked down, but quickly got up."Guess I better kick it up a noch. Nack said as he aimed at the light blue gem in Black Shadow's chest. POW!

(SN... That kind of speed is impossible for a ladybug, since she is now moving faster than the speed of sound. Please change that speed to around 150 MPH, which is the maximum that is allowed for characters that have not been BUILT for speed. And 150 MPH is still twice as fast as a car moving on the freeway, so I think that would be enough...)

Nite waved his hand as he floated by again.

"Ah, don't eorry. You'll be fine. And even though I did not understand what exactly you meant, I'm backing you up whatever the case is."

He whistled in a happy-go-lucky way as Desty Nova stood up on the beach and stretched.

"Well, here we go ladies and gentlemen! Vacation is over and we got things planned. Come on! The Ragnarok has arrived!"

And truly, the ship already stod by the cabin, having arrived so suddenly and silently as not to attract anyone's attention.

Black Shadow scoffed. "Chaos Control!"

Whereas Dottie was moving fast, Chaos Control can move thousands of miles in less than a second, as Shadow had proven many times. So he vanished, reappeared behind her, and let Dottie keep flying towards Nac.

"Fool. You're lucky I dodged that, fleshy. Don't go messing with my Chaos Emerald, you won't like the concequences!" Black Shadow warned cryptically. Then he jumped at Unmetal and grabbed him by the throat, holding him tight and crushing his windpipe.

"Traitor! Either you come with me, or I'll start killing everything I see."

He eyed a passing schoolbus and if he had a moveable mouth he would have grinned.

Dottie smacked into Nack, and they smacked heads, and their lips briefly touched.(hee hee, NackDottie. Don't worry, if Kimi-chan likes EspioDottie, i'll as her to ship it in this RP) Dottie blushed a deep red and and slowly flew away.

"That...was akward." Nack said, also blushing.(OCC! AAHHH!!!) Dottie turned and saw Black Shadow eye the school bus. She flew towards Black Shadow, this time holding out THREE hands at 100 MPH. Nack, jumped high and shot at the robot's head.

Black Shadow was getting annoyed by this constant battling with these pathetic, fleshy lifeforms. He was still holding Unmetal, so he simply spoke the words he needed to say.

"Chaos Control!"

Black Shadow, and Unmetal as well, vanished in a flash. They had teleported to the roof of a nearby building, though their location was unknown to Lilly, Nack, Dottie or anyone else on the ground -- after all, Chaos Control is too fast to even be seen.

He released Unmetal's throat and let him fall to the ground, then he kicked him in the face and knocked him back.

"Traitor! You will give me your answer. So far I have only given you minor bruises. You, I am sure, remember the Metallix, don't you traitor? Silver Sonic requests your presence. Here's the deal, you can come willingly with me, or I can start killing children and your friends."

The first, quick blow had hit a pressure point; until just now Unmetal hadn't been able to move. (( ^_^; )) But now he stood up wearily.
Looks like peacetime is over, thought Unmetal. Looks like I'd better go with him and squash it out quick if I can... Lilly will warn the others.
Unmetal grinned. "Looks like I'm all yours, newbie."

Shadow Android took the thing out of the bag. It was part of Emerl's head. "The Guardian Units of Nation is preparing to build an army of these things... they plan to stage a coup d'etat here and in Westopolis. Without supervillans making trouble they can take over and make a police state... luckily Omega and I discovered the information while hacking into Eggman's database, because he has a link to G.U.N. So we've got to get this thing out of the city and- dammit."

Four G.U.N. helicopters came flying overhead. "Omega! Let's go!" called Shadow Android. They ran towards their purple submarine, the Bathysphere.

The people whom KII scared ran away, most of them. The one guy finished his hot dog first. (( XD ))

Blitz watched them go. He didnt know who to follow. But the robot seemed to tell the truth. So he launched a tornado at the helicopter. Not a huge one, but one that would confuse the pilots long enbough for the two too escape."Fine then, I hope your quest goes better." Blitz walked over to Chatrol(sp?) "Know him?"

Black Shadow nodded.

"Good. Then hold on."

He grabbed Unmetal by the face and once again called upon Chaos Control; this time it took him back to Silver Sonic's side, where he threw Unmetal roughly to the ground in front of Silver Sonic.

"I got him. Anything else you need?"

The Black Comet was speeding closer to the planet, soon it would be close enough for the armies on board to begin preperation for the invasion of Mobius.

Dottie walked towards Nack, and since I'm to lazy to post a converaisrtion, let's just say they introduced themselves to each other. Nack walked over to Lilly. "I'm Nack the Weasel" He said as he bent down to help her up.

Meanwhile, Dottie was replaying that kiss over again in her mind. Was it accdentile, or was it inteisonal?she thought.

Westopolis was a bustling town, filled with people who were walking, talking and laughing merrily. It was then that they were celebrating the Festival of the Black Comet, and they were having fun in their celebrations. They walked around laughing and having fun.

While they were having a fun time, high in space an evil force was immense with satisfaction. They were now close enough to Mobius for his troops to reach the planets surface.

"My minions!" Black Doom, the leader of the Black Arms cried out. "Prepare for conquest! Your mission is to destroy the city of Westopolis. Anihilate every living being. Wipe the city off the map, and then demand that the Mobians give us the Super Emeralds. If they do not... then destroy every Zone until we find the emeralds."

Black Doom then said one more thing. "Take my eye with you. If you find the black hedgehog, make sure my eye finds him."

As the people laughed in Westopolis, suddenly several red lights flashed, and gigantic red fruits grew out of the ground. One of the people walked forward and touched the red fruit.

Then it exploded, ripping the man in half. People started screaming, and then several weird black and red aliens appeared, holding odd guns in their hands.

Then they started firing red blasts at the buildings and people, and there was much screaming and blood and death. The aliens screamed loudly and started burning the city, and while they did that, Doom's Eye patroled the town looking for Shadow the Hedgehog...

And at the Temple in the Skies, where the first three Super Emerald were still in Harle's door, Black Doom appeared with his elite troops.

"Yes... go my troops, and get those Super Emeralds!"

Dang Sonic is missing. I can't believe this is happening to a great hero, but the question is, how has he dissapeard?"
The only thing we can do is to try and fine more clues about this.
Maybe this is a good time to look for the others and see if they have clues.

Then as Jet The Hawk was running he saw Shadow Android.

Hey isn't that Shadow? Hmm...Maybe he can help me.
"Shadow wait!"

(Wait...Black hedgehog...That could be mistaken as the real Shadow, Shadow Android, or Chatrol...Chatrol is a mix of Chaos Control.)

Chatrol looked over at Blitz while Knuckles the II began to reshift into his regular form.

"Well...No. He's an android replica of my dad. I've met others before a long time ago, but I thought they were all destroyed..." the black hedgehog with pink highlights answered.

Cafe whacked Chatrol yet again, "Idiot! We need to keep a low profile!"

Metal Sonic looked over the forlorn city of Westopolis, the people there being overrun by the Black Aliens. He had been built after the original Metal Sonic was turned flesh and blood, into Unmetal.

He had been built to destroy Sonic the Hedgehog, but now that he was gone, there was no reason for him to exist any longer.

He had ignored the other robots plea via the com link, and sat on the roof, watching the destruction of the humans by the Black Aliens.

Cold robotic eyes scanned the aliens. He could, if he had any desire to, help out these humans easily enough, but why should he? Metal Sonic was not programmed that way.

So he continued to watch...
