Title: Project Chaos
Description: A Sonic 3 & Knuckles ReMix Project

This is yet another OCR rearrangement project covering a Sonic game, like Sonic 2's Hedgehog Heaven from about a year and a half ago. This project, however, covers all the different themes from Sonic 3 & Knuckles, even including the alternate ending and boss 1 music from stand-alone Sonic 3.

Just like everything from OCR, downloading the music is free, and very much worth it. If you're stuck on a 56k connection, and aren't easily able to download the 35 different songs, you should still try picking up the themes based on whatever level themes you like the most (or if you aren't very familiar with the S3&K tunes, try at least to pick up housethegrate's "Walk on Water" {Hydrocity themes}, Daniel Baronowsky's "Knuckleduster" {Marble Garden themes}, Joker's "Before the Storm" {Death Egg themes}, or chthonic's "Red Sphere, Blue Sphere" {Blue Spheres/Special Stage theme}).

(Also, if there's demand here for it, I might upload some of the WIPs and tracks from the teaser site that didn't get on the project, that I have, into a zip file or something)

I've been waiting so long for them to finish this! This is indeed most awesome! Thanks for posting this, DP. ^_^

You're welcome! And yeah, I've been waiting for the release ever since the idea was proposed a couple hours after Hedgehog Heaven's release (and even moreso for the last month, checking the mainsite and one of the places that was going to be a mirror of the project, at least 4 times a day). It's definitely worth the wait, though (if just for the Hydrocity, Marble Garden, and Carnival Night mixes).

...

And just as a sidenote for anyone who doesn't know about game music rearranging from sites like OCRemix or VGMix, the songs that are made are much like actual songs, not the original video-game bleeps and bloops mixed around to create new tunes. It's worth it because it's free high-quality music, even if you don't know the source tunes.
