HEY, Listen!

As you may or may not know, the cryptic new year's present for us all was the long-overdue Fanfic version of The Search, the RP that gave birth to this site!

The problem is, when I promised to have it done by New Year's, I did not realize my mom wasn't working till after New Year's and I had to share the computer all day. I also didn't realize I'd be in at least three AIM windows at all times while working, and that a large section of The Search was never archived here.

Because of all of this, I can safely say that without a miracle, The Search won't be here on New Year's day. ;_;

HOWEVER: GS promises to work on it at least some every day until it's done.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU: Anything you remember about The Search, in as much detail as possible. That would help me a lot. Thank you.

Let's hope CR can come through and find everything she has on The Search... as I believe she has the whole thing! She just isn't sure where it is...

I can't give details, as my memory is hazy, but I remember that Metal Sonic makes a return and tries to kill Sonic, but little by little his personality becomes more and more like Sonic's. Also, I remember that there was a big "ultimate weapon" like thing that Eggman built, and Sonic tried to save Metal Sonic, who was clinging on from the side, but Metal Sonic rejected Sonic's help and fell to his death into the heart of a volcano. Obviously, he came back in future RPs, of course.

I also remember that Fang the Sniper played a big role... yet at the same time, I don't remember what that role was. I think we worked with Rouge? Or am I wrong about that? I know he was a real loose cannon, though, and eventually turned on everyone, so he was against Sonic AND Eggman. I just... can't remember the details well enough... man, The Search was such a long time ago... I really can't remember anything in detail... what I remember is all just vague.

Hmm...Isn't this Ironic?

We are now all Searching to remember the Search. It would be funny if it were not so sad.

Besides having each person remember exactly what happened there might be an alternative measure. We could ask our buds at the R and S shrine to open up the old site for a bit, then go to the Archives and copy the entire thing down into a Document.

Either that or just have people remember what happened...Which you actually be better for me. You know cause then we could forget all the Cojo is a N00b posts I made...

First Rp Ever.

Just woke up. It's 2 in the afternoon & it feels like I have a root beer hangover. I feel like a jerk for not remembering a lot of what happened in this RP which started this awesome thread x_x

& I remember Fang working with Rouge (response to CPoC). Rouge was thin of patience with him though XD

Someone got shot in the leg? It was either Knuckles or Rouge. If it was Knuckles, then Rouge helped him but it could've been vice versa?

I was leaning more towards the middle XD But The Search was a long RP so my middle could be it's beginning? Haha. Yeah, but they were in a room with.. Tails for sure. And maybe Cosmo & Amy? Probably.

Yeah, I have that part on Spoony's archive. ^^
But I forgot the stuff about Fang and Metal Sonic. Thanks guys!

"Rouge shaked her head." LOL. Shaked. Gosh, this brings back memories.

Cojo, although I like your enthusiasm, there's a few things that need to be said... some of which I've never said before, but since nobody here goes there anymore, I think it's safe to say.

1) Me and Joha aren't very well liked by some of the mods (and even TUN himself) at the R/S Shrine. Although, Joha could elaborate more on this, since she was part of their inner-circle until they betrayed her.

2) I'm pretty sure the old R/S Shrine was completely deleted.

3) See 1, as even if 2 weren't true, 1 still kinda makes it impossible.

*sigh* Well... the cat's outta the bag.

Hmm, Ok then Cpoc I never knew.

Danggit, I wish my old Computer wouldn't have crashed. I had archived the Search chapters 1 and 2. But then it crashed, and I got a new one.

I'm not so sure Cpoc. I asked Darkwave to open it for me back a loong time ago. I think a year and a half. But I didn't know of what happened, so strike that idea.

Hm. Actually, it's just TUN who doesn't like me. But it's all good since I don't like him either.

But I'm fine with the other mods - I could probably ask (not that I want to, but I'm capable of) one of them to open it for a while.

Don't get too excited. It's mostly just our old posts with a few minor edits, spelling fixes and re-arranging for fanfic form. The creative stuff doesn't start till I run out of old stuff to re-write.

But still, this'll serve as a guide for new members as well as a refresher for the vets.
