Deffinitally Tails! In most games, he's his best bud such as Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic Advance 3, Sonic DX, etc.
Knuckles used to be his enemy in Sonic and Knuckles. Amy annoys him all the time. Eggman is the enemy of Sonic. Plus, Eggman created Metal Sonic to destroy Sonic. Sonic doesn't really know Tikal.

I checked Tails twice, that's how much Tails is Sonic's best friends. In every Sonicverse, Tails and Sonic are very close. Increasingly Tails has gotten smaller roles, but the fact remains that there's nobody he'll really trust more.
Who voted Eggman indeed? I could make the case for Sonic and Eggman being friends. It'd be hard though... suffice it to say that their relationship isn't entirely hatred. In the early Archie comics, it was Sonic that would have been heartbroken to lose Robotnik; nowadays, Sonic seems happy just chillin', and it's the since-then watered-down Eggman that relishes the hunt. *shrug*

those are all very good opinions, i would go with tails because some people say tails is like a adopted brother( looking at tailsonic15), but in all the games, i never seen them enemys. so, yaeh, :Tails:
