Now quite a while ago, I remember some talks on Chatty Chat about this show, and it wasn’t put into a very good light.

Since then, I’ve seen a good chunk of the shows, and you know what? It’s actually pretty good.

The only really bad thing I see is that they do go a bit overboard with the chibiness and anime stuff, but otherwise, it’s funny.

The story revolves around five ‘actors’ on a superhero show called Lily-Mu. One of the actors, Mikey, is on because he won a contest. However, he’s an American Style cartoon in a Japanese cartoon style…Japan.

He quickly makes friends with them, well three of the original cast members at least.

Here’s a quick run down on the main characters.

Mikey - The American who came to Japan seeking fame and fortune, he won a contest that got him on the Lily-Mu show. He’s kinda lazy, but usually a good guy. He also seems to mess things up a lot.

Gonard - Probably Mikey’s best friend, he plays the villain on the Lily-Mu show, but off strange he’s a friendly guy, albeit very strange. He’ll eat anything, and is usually accompanying Mikey when things go bad.

Guano - No one knows what he really looks like, since he’s always in that strange suit. He writes, directs, and stars in the Lily-Mu show, and can get nervous easily, and often has anxiety attacks.

Lily - She has a lot of attitude, and despises Mikey, often calling a ‘spaz.’ She truly doesn’t like him, and is always looking for a way to get Mikey off the show.

Mitsuki - A little weird, but a nice girl, Mitsuki seems to have a crush on Mikey, and is often the voice of reason for all of them.

Ozu - The boss of the Lily-Mu show, Ozu’s very strict and always ready to hand down punishments if things go awry. Though he might be stern, he shows a soft side now and again.

Yes Man (I forgot his real name…<.<) - Ozu’s Yes Man, he follows Ozu around and is always the brunt of physical humor, and always agreeing with Ozu.

The show’s plot basically goes like this. We start on a scene of the Lily-Mu show, when they’re taping it, but something goes wrong. The rest of the episode the five actors go through some sort of adventure, and at the end, they do the scene again, and get it right that time.

But don’t think that means it gets boring! No, the show is hilarious! Trust me. The overuse of Japanese effects may be a bit annoying, but that’s the only fault I saw.

There’s character development, pirates, jokes, people eating inedible things, love triangles, tales of friendship, the fact you never see Mikey’s parents, though hear their voices, and more.

The show is definitely worth a look into. Take it from AGoI.

Personally I can't sit through it.....I'm not a very big fan, it's not that intresting to me. I have watched a few times and the only one I really liked was the Christmas episode ^__^;

Maybe I'll give it another chance if it comes back on regular Nick and not Nicktoons
